He was extremely condescending and just plain rude like he didn't want us to be there. He reluctantly let us see the rental boards and then decided to question if we knew what we were doing (been a surfer for over 7 years)...so after that we decided to leave. Worst surf shop experience I've ever had! We took our business to Seaside surf shop who were very helpful, friendly and made our morning better. Great rental rates! Also, Cleanline surf shop in Cannon is great as well as we've rented from them in the past... they were just closed the morning we tried to rent there :)

Rental selection was pretty diverse, from bikes and such to ANY need you had for surfing as well as a ton of local knowledge. Wet suits, boards, skims, you name it, they seemed to have it. I bought a shirt and one of my daughters bought a youth bathing suit, which is actually hard to find in Cannon Beach.

When I got there it was closed and no sign of anyone. Called their phone a bunch of times, knocked on the door, and even left an email. Never received a single message... Google, Apple Maps, and their website all had totally different business hours. Their own website even has 2 different working hour infos... Definitely will never do business with them. On the bright side, I ended up going to Seaside in Oregon to a surf shop called "seaside surf shop". It was an extra hour drive but at least they had everything we needed and helped us out immediately. That's what a good surf shop does.

I look at them every time I am there and one day will break down and buy the red one, so perfect for th entire month of December! Or maybe the black one, perfect throughout the late fall and winter. See, that's my problem! Indecisive! There are some Aztec print capes also, which are very affordable. And shawl type collars with the same print which would make a nice contrast to any solid coat you have, and keep your neck toasty warm. There is a selection of Brighton handbags, belts and jewelry, a contrast to the other leather goods in that they are mass produced, but nice for those who like their style. The day we stopped in they had dish towels, napkins and throw blankets in red & black plaid, so Oregon! There are lots of gift items: picture frames in all sizes, candles, coffee mugs, wreaths, really pretty tablecloths and napkins and small nous are items.along the back wall there is a pantry section with gourmet jams, bbq sauce, cocoa, gourmet cookies, sauces and pastas. Perfect items for a thoughtful gift basket. In the back of the boutique there is a Large, separate room for painting and craft parties. Wish I lived closer! I'd definitely sign up. Very colorful kite store right off Main Street. They have lots of kites, 1 string, 2 strings, 4…read morestrings and more stunt kites. Long Beach has a kite festival every summer and this shop is a great a place to buy a kite of your own. They have funny kites (flying cows) and speedy racer kites. Their prices are reasonable and they will meet all of your kite flying needs. The beach can get pretty windy and a kite makes it extra fun. Also if you bring a stunt or racer kite of your own to the beach you can always buy any replacement parts or strings here. Fun store to browse as well, the owner is very friendly and helpful if you have any questions. They also have a kite museum in Long Beach too.
