The 90 year old home was completely stripped down to the studs and renovated by Pittsburgh Property Guy. After living in the house for nearly a year, I can attest to the very high level of quality and craftsmanship that he put into this home. The home inspector even commented to me prior to purchasing that he's seen a lot of renovated homes, and this one was clearly done right. He used high end finishes like Brazilian Cherry floors, granite kitchen counters, and marble in the master bathroom. He also took the time to have the brick cleaned on the outside of the house, exposed and restored original woodwork, vaulted the 3rd floor to create even more livable space. Everywhere you look, you can see that time and thought was put into the final product. It's been so nice having friends and family comment on the beauty and quality of the renovation too! Aside from the quality craftsmanship, Pittsburgh Property Guy himself provided top notch customer service to me when I had questions or minor issues that I encountered. He worked with me directly via phone and email, and was always very quick to respond. It was clear that my happiness as his customer was important to him, and that's not something that should be overlooked! If you're thinking about buying one of his properties, you're in safe hands.

Leah was really helpful and kind which is rare especially when you learn about how bad other property managers are in the same area as this property. Leah was really patient with us as we tried really hard to find other girls to join our house but it always fell through with some of these girls. Leah recommended the 4 bedroom side to us and even went out of her way to show that side of the house to 2 of the girls since I was really busy with a final for a class. Leah has been nothing but kind and respectful. She wasn't up our butts about paying for the deposit and she was really understanding when we had an issue with finding people. I'm glad this company took over for the property that we found instead of the prior one due to how it feels so frat like and how the property management is changing it. I highly recommend this company if you're looking for a place and heard bad things about other property management.

I should have seen the red flags in the beginning when they tried to tell me I had to pay $250 extra to move in because of "bad credit" when i have never had bad credit in my life and had to get my own credit report to prove my actual credit score. Then I paid to move in 3 days early to get a email 3 days later about picking up keys to a apartment I already moved into. Then times moves on and I'm told to put all the utilities in my name ok that's fine i call and ask about a water bill and get told to call the water company when i RENT not owned so my bill should be added to the portal so i can pay simple right NOPE i had to continue to call and get the run around about paying my bills. Then 2 months later all of a sudden I get a knock on the door saying my balcony has to come down because code informants was never informed of me moving in with no notice no call no nothing. Comes to find out they were selling the building and squatter had been living next door, the garage wall needed restructuring, roof needs replacing all on a apartment I moved into 6 months ago that they claimed was "newly renovated" BULLSHIT. Then once the building was sold I asked to get my personal information removed and was told "if it bothers you that bad move it to your spam" just ridiculous. Lucky my building has been bought by a GREAT LANDLORD but i just don't want anyone else to have to deal with this same experience DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR GOOGLE REVIEW

Pros: - They take care of all repairs and let me know about any unexpected costs as they happen. - They scheduled extra work (termites, fall maintenance) when I asked for it, took care of everything. - I get a monthly statement about income. When the statements look confusing I email RPM and they always explain the charges/income. - Direct deposit to my bank account. Cons: - It took them a few months to replace the garage door on my house, which didn't affect me much but might have made the tenants a bit unhappy. - Sometimes it can take a few days for my property manager to get back to me via email.

When we moved in, the unit was left unlocked and anyone off the street could enter the home. That was the first red flag. As we moved our stuff into the home, the AC was completely unusable and the temperature inside exceeded 85°. Now they did address this and fix this quickly, but we still moved into a home that was not ready. For the first 2 weeks living here, we had to deal with leftover trash and debris that was never cleaned up entirely, I had to fight the maintenance team to send someone out to collect full trash can, full bags of trash, and assorted contractor material. There is still trash and debris on the property that was never picked up, even after someone came out. After our gas was set up, we discovered that the washing machine and dryer were both broken and unable to be used. It took weeks for a new unit to be delivered and there was little to no communication from the property management team. Within that time, the basement flooded and we had to move our stuff we had stored down there. This issue was addressed within a 2 day period. Now we are dealing with a broken oven that I communicated 3+ weeks ago was broken and could not be used. I have not gotten any updates from the management team, even after having a tech come over and work on the unit. It has now been over a week since that visit and I don't know if they are repairing or replacing my unit. I have sent multiple messages asking for an update, and only the appliance company has provided any update. From Day 1 this property was not move in ready, even though it had been vacant for months leading up to us moving in. I would strongly recommend if you are looking to rent from RPM, please find a unit that is already in working order and tread carefully. I feel like when a property is being listed for rentals, it should be move in ready and not be a dumpster fire for the new tenants to put out. RPM did not do their diligence when listing this property and dumped all the broken appliances and issues onto my wife and I. To RPM, please do better with your management of these properties. Yes the home is old and is going to have quirks to it, but I shouldn't have to beg and plead with your team to get work done and completed. Things can and will break, that's just the nature of property management, but when everything I have listed is broken at Day 1, that is disappointing and doesn't paint you or your company in good light.

Maintenance came and gave us little dollar mouse traps from home depot. my boyfriend had to buy mouse traps to kill the mice because management did not care. The rugs were disgusting when I moved in, it look like they didn't touch the floors at all due to the animal hair and brown marks as if the last tenant maybe had a dog or cat. Long story short they didn't touch those floors before I moved in. I would not move in here. They don't fix anything. They keep your deposit charging 500 dollars for a cleaning fee another 200 for carpet and 200 dollars for paint. That is utter ridiculousness!! what paint charge 200 dollars a can of paint is how much??? We had chipped walls in the bathroom, the toilet had the most horrible rust ring around the toilet. tenants got their mail stolen. Our garage door would just open up in the middle of the night due to an electrical error. each year the rent would raise 100 dollars. The heat was controlled by the weather it would not come on unless it was below 60 degrees outside. it was so cold And the heat would not come on.. it was miserable. Cheap blinds that broke just from touching them. i will never stay in another one of thier apartments ever again! I had a horrible experience Rent was literally 1400, when I fell short never worked with me. Management threatened to go to the magistrate every chance they got, I couldn't keep up because of the yearly increase. I beg of you please go somewhere else. it's not worth it. The best part about the apartment was the location but it was supper noisy due to the nursing home next door.

I've lived in a Steiner apartment for four years, and it has been the best experience I've ever had. They truly go over and beyond. The maintenance team immediately fixes any issues that may arise (they take amazing care of their properties, so there aren't really any issues to begin with!), the folks in the office really take their time answering any and all questions, and they truly care about their renters. I moved cross country for the first time in my life, and the folks in the office really made the whole process easy for me. If I could live in this apartment forever, I would. They are super nice, informative, professional, hardworking, and overall outstanding. Even my introverted cats who are scared of everyone except my wife and I LOVE the maintenance team, so that says a lot. Everyone at Steiner Realty truly deserves a raise, in my opinion. I've worked as a Leasing Agent before, so I have extremely high standards- Steiner absolutely went over and beyond my standards in every aspect. The quality of my apartment is outstanding, and I have been absolutely blown away by how amazing my time has been while living here. They keep everything super clean- they even salt the sidewalks and parking lots before any storm, big or tiny. They always answer the phones immediately when you call, and they take their time with you. If someone was in my parking spot, they would have them towed immediately for me. One of my light bulbs went out, and they came and replaced ALL of my lights, and even gave me extra bulbs. They even email you after you get maintenance done to make sure you are happy with the results. They all truly go over and beyond. I could go on and on. More people need to know how amazing Steiner is, and how amazing their properties are too.

I told Miah about my situation, that I was basically looking for a property as a backup plan for my family's housing emergency. Despite the lack of commitment from me to eventually sign a lease, she still took me on the tour of the properties. She was graceful, kind, professional and, most helpfully, she knew the area and had insights about the properties and the area that were specific to my situation and my family structure. What impressed me most about her approach was that she gave the tour despite me informing her that this was an exploratory effort on my part. Thankfully, my housing emergency was soon resolved through another solution, however, we did not lease a property from RE 360, and because of that, I cannot speak to the management style or effectiveness of RE 360. What I can speak to is Miah's performance and approach. My family and I feel very strongly that Miah contributed to solving our housing emergency because she was a partner in helping us find our options in a pinch. I am thankful that it was Miah who answered my call that day, because had it been anyone else I could've been told that RE 360 would not spend time with someone who was ready to rent, or I could've been taken on a tour with someone who was not engaged in the process because a sale was not probable. Miah did neither of these things and additionally, continued to check in with my status throughout the following week, giving me updates on the properties that we toured. Miah made a positive difference for me and my family in a time of need, and for that I am thankful for her, and I am also thankful that RE 360 had her in their employ.

Do not get their renters insurance through the app because your claim will be denied. They ruined my property and I had to go to court because they really only want your money and refuse to dish out a dime. Do not expect to get your security deposit back either. You'll have to thoroughly clean the unit, change light bulbs, the furnace filter, prove that the scraps on the wall was there before you moved in, change the batteries in the smoke detector, have carpets professionally cleaned. Every hour you're late turning your keys in is $200! The roof leaks nonstop but it's on you to clean the damaged carpet. Slum lords is a compliment when describing them. RUN

The floors were refinished but there was zero insulation and you could just feel the cold air leaking through the seams. This isn't something I would overlook especially with single pane windows. In addition, the open plan kitchen was great except they didn't seal the brick so on a weekly basis we were cleaning pans of mortar that was falling from the walls. As far as the mice go, we killed about 2 dozen on or own despite constant complaints. This was the common theme, complaints were rarely acknowledged.

We rented an apartment for one year, and while living there we didn't have many issues, aside from having to call them multiple times to fix things. When we moved out, we made sure that everything was meticulously clean, because we really needed our security deposit back. But they refused to return most of the deposit, hitting us with charges that were totally unreasonable. The deposit was also returned to us late (slipped into our mailbox with no postmark, after the 30 day due date required by law). We took them to small claims court to try and get our money back, but we unfortunately lost. At court, Ron King (who we had never even met before in person) was very dismissive and rude to us. We were left with a very bad impression of Wylie Holdings. From talking to others we know who have rented from them, we know it's not the first time they have done something like this. We just wanted everyone to be aware, especially if you are currently renting from them.
