The owner reassured us…read morethey always purchase more than enough material to complete the job with extra left over for the home owner. They failed to account for the amount of drop from cutting and came up a few boxes short. This was in September 2018. It took until December, 3.5 months later for them to acquire the additional flooring to finish the job. The new flooring is off in color and does not match, so we have a kitchen that has a hodgepodge of the two different mixed flooring's. During the install, the installer left an 8' long scratch across the middle of our living room. Jennifer said "well, it can be buffed out." It cannot be buffed out without making it worse and is still there. Our bi-fold closet doors were stacked on top of each other, leaving horrible gouges in the doors in two rooms. When doing the kitchen, our brand new refrigerator was banged into something leaving the door dented. When putting the refrigerator back, it was pushed sideways, leaving a gouge in the new floor. We still have pencil marks throughout the rooms where marks were made for cuts and left on the flooring. The transition from the living room to the kitchen should have been smooth without using a transition strip in between, The kitchen floor was started at the wrong end, so by the time they got to trying to line up with the living room, the seams were off so there was no option than to use a transition strip. When I talked to Jennifer and Greg about all of the sloppiness and damage, I requested compensation be made. Their answer was an insulting offer of only a $350.00 discount. They have not offered to fix any of the damage. Buyer beware!!!!

She listened carefully to our needs and made terrific recommendations. Her sharp eye also made picking out the right product and colors very easy. We live two hours away, so Jennifer coordinated the installation with our property manager and even hauled away the old blinds for us. You can often judge a business by what happens when something goes wrong. The manufacturer didn't send all the necessary parts and one piece was broken, but Jennifer handled everything professionally and made it easy to get the job done. There was never any doubt that Idyllwild Design Center was the type of business that made sure things are done right. You can also judge a business by their competition. We got another bid that was *much* higher and that salesperson's suggestions were not nearly as helpful as Jennifer's. The other business tried to sell us the highest-priced product, not necessarily the product we needed. Idyllwild Design Center focused on finding the best solution for us. Overall, it was a great experience and we wouldn't hesitate to work with Idyllwild Design Center again.

Not being from this area I was at a loss on who to hire for our countertops. I took a shot after going through yelp and I couldn't be more pleased with the phenomenal job he and his did installing our new counters in the kitchen and two bathrooms so we could get back to being fully functional again with having sinks. He and his crew really nice guys and his prices are very reasonable. Don't mind the unfinished floors in the pics, its a work in progress.
