Prices are a bit high for kids clothes but rent at the Irvine Spectrum isn't cheap either. If you're lucky enough, you'll find some items on sale at more reasonable prices. read more

Very disappointing customer service experience. I purchased a pair of kids' shoes from this Cotton On Kids location, and after only one day of normal use, the shoelace broke. The shoes were brand new, and this was clearly a quality issue that should have been addressed. I returned to the store and politely asked for a replacement or refund. Although I no longer had the paper receipt, I provided my Apple Pay transaction record as proof of purchase, including the payment information from the store. However, the store manager refused to assist me and did not make any effort to verify the transaction or provide a reasonable solution. I understand that stores have return policies, but a product that breaks after just one day of normal use should not be treated like a regular return. Customers should be able to expect reasonable support when they purchase a defective item. I am very disappointed not only with the product quality but also with how this situation was handled by the store management. I hope Cotton On Kids will improve its quality control and customer service training so other families do not have the same experience. I would not recommend purchasing shoes from this location unless the company improves how it handles defective products and customer concerns. read more

I told the guy working there and didn't seem to care. What an unreal experience shopping here. I have been a long time cotton on customer and came across this girl who calls herself a manager. She set quite the example for her employee who continued to mistreat me. I was doing a return and a purchase. Had a tag on one item and not the other. Was dissatisfied with the material quality of one of the items and showed her the manager the receipt. She said no exceptions even for the unworn item and refused to return or exchange for the same item. She did this with an attitude and I asked to speak to manager where she said I am that. I asked for the number to corporate she said Google it. Then her employee came to assist me in the rest of the return because the manager walked away and she treated me like a nuisance. She threw the receipt at me and I asked her why she did that then she denied doing it and shunned me off. I asked for their names and they denied to give me just their first names. It was quite unreal. I was there with my daughter ready to buy more items. I've never been treated like this ANYWHERE. I will never be coming back to this location as long as these two are here. Cute clothes, but the worst customer service! My family and I were here on 11/20/22 at 11:50am. No one greeted us, which is fine, so when I saw 2 Cotton On Kids employees behind the counter (one girl was just sitting on the ground talking to another girl with orange/red hair), I said, "Hi. Hello." They just looked at me like I was annoying and disturbing them, didn't say hi back, and continued to talk about whatever they were talking about. Ruuuuuuuuude! To whoever runs this store, please have a talk with your employees about their attitudes and work ethic! I hope the person/people who are in charge of this particular store do not have the same work ethic as the two girls!!!!! The people that used to work here were always so friendly and respectful. To reiterate, these were 2 employees behind the counter/registers that were "working" on 11/20/22 at 11:50 am. Very disappointing!!!!!!!!!! I will not be back, and I don't think any other parents should support this establishment either, until the employees learn how to treat their customers with respect. I would give 3.5 stars simply because NOTHING I ended up purchasing is able to go in the dryer! Who has time to hang-dry baby clothes! It's my fault as I didn't even think to check the tags before purchasing, I just assumed everything could go in the dryer. Some of the items I purchased had iron on appliques so that makes sense that the dryer would crack or peel them, but even the items that were simply cotton still said do not tumble dry! Regardless, I am so excited we are getting a Cotton On Kids in San Diego soon! I had never been to this store, or heard of it, but stumbled upon it in the Irvine Spectrum. I couldn't leave! My hands were full of super cute items and pretty reasonably priced too! I even found some super cute stuff for my son on the clearance rack! I won't be shopping here as often as I'd have liked simply because I don't have the time to let every single thing hang dry, but the items I do purchase I know will be super soft and made with great quality and care. read more

I love cotton on kids and typo much more than cotton on itself because their clothes and stuffs are so adorable. I shopped at cotton on kids often especially during their special promotion. I hopped on a few weeks ago to get my kid some fall/winter clothes and just happened that they had a 20 percent off promotion whole store. I grabbed a few dresses and some tees for her...everything was so cute and great quality. Prices are higher than old navy and target, but their stylish is so cute and I could not resist. If they have promotion is worth it! read more

The clothes are really cute, but the prices are inflated. My main gripe with this store is this: we don't like to wear synthetic fabrics. The whole reason we came to this store is that it is called COTTON ON KIDS. One would assume that the store only sells cotton, which would make life so easy- no checking tags for materials. But, here's the thing: The first two things I looked at, a princess dress and a sweater, were not made of cotton. At all! In fact the sweater was "acrylic"... no one should be putting acrylic against their skin, especially not small children. Please change the name of your store so it's clear what is actually in there. Man made synthetic junk, like most stores these days. Sadly, there is no reliable place to buy natural fabrics anymore. read more

Clothes are a RIP off. They fall apart immediately. Socks fell apart, pants unravelled and shirts faded. They were washed once. Ridiculous. Worst 200 dollars I've ever spent. They must pay people 25 cents in a another country to make them. read more

Cute stuff, with prices and quality comparable to Old Navy. But after browsing the whole store fully intending to pick up some fun new clothes for my kiddos, I only really found one item that I loved. Nice convenient location along a row of kids' clothing stores so you can hit this place, Carter's, Naartjie, Children's Place, and Target all at once. This gave me a laugh: they had some cute-looking packaged underwear behind the counter that were a total steal: only $3 for 3 pairs (with any other purchase) but when I opened the packages for a closer look, they were lacy little hipsters... kinda trashy for my 2-year-old. My first and last experience with this chain was in the Lynhaven Mall while shopping for back to school clothes with my granddaughter. She picked up 2 tee shirts on the buy one get one 50% off table. Not a great deal ($29 and $24) but she liked them. The sales persons very nice, I showed her my military ID to take advantage of the military discount offered. After leaving the store, I looked at my receipt and was very surprised to have a 10 cent charge for the shopping bag then no military discount. Went back to the store and 2 sales people spent well over 10 minutes trying to figure out how to ring up purchase with the discount. I ended up returning my purchase as it was obvious they were not set up to use military discounts. I know the discount was not that much but my point was if you are advertising a discount then customers deserve to receive it. 10 cents for the shopping bag didn't break my budget but no where was it posted there was a charge for the bag. read more

The clothes here are cute and seem to be of the same quality as Old Navy or Target. However I'd rather shop at ON or Target because the girl who was working when I stopped in yesterday seemed to be on some sort of power trip. Her attitude was condescending and she seemed to derive some sort of joy in making people wait around needlessly while she sauntered around the store. Never asked to help me, continuously gave me condescending looks (complete with eye rolls), and seemed inconvenienced by my existence. I should've walked out. Pretty bad service. We were charged twice for an article of clothing. We didn't realize it at the time because the total cost seemed accurate. It wasn't until I called them later that day to ask about a coupon that I found out everything was 30% off. This prompted me to check the receipt and sure enough we were charged twice. This was a manager that did this. They would not fix the error over the phone and now I have to go all the way back to the store (we are not local) and bring everything we bought to get it fixed. The manager who made the mistake didn't even apologize. I will not be shopping here again. read more

Poor service every time I've visited. Usually I just get ignored but this last time it was worse. Came in within 24 hours of having the Main Place location call them to put a dress on hold. Told the girl behind counter I'm here for the dress and the other girl who appeared to be manager said, "oh you called.." and proceeded to the back to check and came out with nothing. Now I have to describe which dress it was and she went to the floor and grabbed the wrong one. I then have to point to the dress ON THE FLOOR that was supposed to be held which wasn't set aside and could've been sold. Secondly I proceeded to exchange some clearance items that the previous sales girl had indicated I could not return but can get store credit for. Apparently this girl tells me that the previous girl gave the wrong info and that accessories cannot be exchanged. Thirdly I wanted to use my gift cards to pay and she kept saying it was denied until finally the manager had to teach her how to ring it up correctly! With so many negative reviews on the staff, I felt the need to write a review. Four out of five stars because I like what I see, but the prices could be better. I'm not asking for target prices - I think the material and the styles are better than target, but they're a bit high in my opinion. I have only just discovered the store, but in my two days of interaction here, I have had a wonderful experience with the sales associate. Both days, that was Jacqueline. She also mentioned that she remembered me from the previous day, which is obviously a positive in customer service. I thoroughly looked around the store selecting my items, and I placed them on hold for pick up the following day. Then I called in the following day around 4 PM to request a hold for one more day. B. I love adjustable waist bands (which all children's clothing should have in my opinion) and that may also contribute to the higher cost. I do not like that the short shorts for girls do not have a liner- hope to see the company improve upon that in the future. I'm a big fan of this store! Their clothes are fun & stylish. I like to dress my 3 year old in comfortable, fitted, adjustable-waist, quality jeans and this place has the best I've found. The prices are typically higher than what I would usually pay ($29 regular price for jeans), so I watch for their sales, which are fairly frequent. We buy tops, PJs and accessories only when on sale; with our favorite items being hooded sweatshirts and very comfy Tshirts. read more
