After discussing prices on both hats, I selected the $60 hat, which was $30 after the 50% off. The lady then told me she didn't know how to ring it up. I was puzzled, but whatever. I said, "it's $30 after the discount". She says she needs to calculate the discount on the register and she doesn't know how to. She tries calling the store owner for instructions, but he doesn't answer the call. I very nicely and patiently say "OK. Here's my name and number. When you figure how to ring this up, call me, I won't be far away", and then I leave. 30 minutes later my phone rings and it's the owner. I'm on vacation, I'm all happy, I say "Hey, what's up?" This guy says "WHAT'S UP??? LET ME TELL YOU WHAT'S UP. I OWN THE HAT STORE. MY 80yr OLD EMPLOYEE JUST WENT HOME CRYING. WHAT THE HELL DID YOU SAY TO HER???" Needless to say this moron had his facts all wrong. He rants on me for a few minutes, not letting me get a word in. Finally he shuts up for a second, I ask if he has video cameras. He says yes. I ask if he watched them yet, he says no. I tell him to go watch the video, then call me back and apologize.
