They are called 100 yen stores there. The prices all start at $1.75 and up. There are conversions charts all over for you to figure out the prices. Ok! They have a little of everything from home goods to hobby supplies to gardening items. Chopsticks of all kinds, even the long ones for cooking, are available, and if you want to make your plate and bowl sets interesting, they have a nice variety to choose from, as well as bento boxes, food containers, etc. If you're looking for sauces and flavorings to up your ramen game, they have that too, along with a selection of foods imported from Japan, including some of the best instant ramen bowls I've ever had. They even carry a drink that's hard to find here on the mainland, direct from Hawai'i, Hawaiian Sun sodas! Though I've never had to ask for help with anything, the staff I have encountered have been pleasant and ready if there is need. Overall, if I had to choose between the DT and Daiso, I'd rather go to Daiso. Unfortunately, there's only the one store in town, so I save it as a treat that it is.
