(This review is specifically directed at Southwest Treasures. Located where forever 21 used to be)…read moreI purchased a lamp here. (A Turkish hanging lamp) It was overpriced for what was selling online for much cheaper (after checking 10 minutes later). I was hesitant about buying the item but felt pressured into it- as the shop only let me know the price after they had gotten it down and swapped the color of bulbs- while additionally wrapping it up. I felt really bad for the hassle of them getting it down. I felt there was no way for me to back out. On top of that the man had a thick accent and I had trouble understanding what he was saying. I was charged 3x the original price... I immediately felt that I messed up. Once I got home to install it, it didn't fit my space and was hard to wire electrically, as there was not the correct installments given to me. I went to return it hoping they'd be reasonable as I had just purchased it yesterday. Without even being kind, they refused to be negotiable. To add to the already tense situation one of the workers cussed out my mother, who's was explaining that the purchase was a transaction by me, a 17 year old, not a legal adult. 322$ from anyone is a lot of money. But from a highschool with her first job? That's a lot more. The man the woman called to assist called my mom a "idiot" and "asshole". Then threatened to call mall security on us. so we had zero chance coming back. I'm heartbroken for my naivety. And disgusted by the way they handled talking with a customer. I think in no professional business should workers verbally abuse their customers. Especially ones who have reasonable concerns, when an underage buyer makes a huge purchase. Perhaps I was in the wrong. Nonetheless, the attitude displayed at this establishment is predatory to buyers. Would not recommend!

I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the Winrock is back, growing, and no longer a dangerous place. Now you can find a wide variety of restaurants for any taste, some good entertainment, and so many shops, including Dillard's which is the tenant who has been there the longest. If you cannot find it at Winrock Town Center, you probably don't need it. I found everything I needed there, and more! You will find great service and value as well as a large selection of most anything you need. CONGRATULATIONS to the management, administration, and visionary leaders who brought this mall back to life. It is still growing and adding new stores regularly, which is so promising in this economy. What pandemic? Winrock is back baby!

They are also about to open a CHICKEN SALAD CHICK!!! So happy about that, can not wait, it's sooo far to visit the one in Rio Rancho. I love the additions of the Nordstrom rack, Ulta and the TJ Maxx-- would kill to have a Ross, Homegoods, 5 below, a couple more great restaurants (maybe a brewery!!), and some smaller food vendors. This place is perfect for shopping in the warmer months and getting some sun. Will definitely be here this summer and I hope that they add more stores as time goes on!

Note dollar general not even in same market. Anyway this store is in a nice newer center with sprouts as anchor store. One thing about dollar tree is that the inventory can vary a lot. I have been looking for some specific gardening things which is why I have this trek to go to a lot of stores. NOTE this is during pandemic/may 2020 so take that into consideration The store had a lot of merchandise problem is that a lot is in boxes. I have a strong feeling the company has cut back labor which is why most is boxed and not on shelves. As with other dollar tree's the staff on checkout was exceptionally nice. Best find - metal flower stakes for yard planters - equivalent at any other place $3 plus each.

I do love a bargain. Really. So when I saw this ABQ Dollar Tree shop across the street from my…read morehotel, I just had to go. Technically, I was grabbing dinner at Subway and playing Pokémon Go nearby and spotted this place. Stranger things have happened with my travels to Albuquerque, NM, but I figured that it's always a good thing when you can save money here and there, especially when you're on a budget. The Dollar store can easily help you with finding ways to stretch your dollar further. One of the ways to be budget friendly is to come here. While some people say that this is a second rate Target store, I did find some good bargains and what I thought was a bargain, but ended up being a piece of junk anyway. Most of the steals is in the eyes of the beholder, especially when everything in the store is just a $1! I was stoked that it was like that. The prize I found was boxes of toaster pastries (Pop Tarts) for a $1! Usually, they retail in stores and supermarkets for about $4 and $3 on sale. So, I found really good steal here and loaded up on that. Picked up about 3 boxes, among my items purchased here. The overall experience was pretty sterile and an average experience. I cruised those aisles and saw what was good to get for $1 per item. The Dollar Store is known for those price bargains and I'm sure that many people who stopped in here get pretty good bargains. The Dollar Store seems like a department store with random household and daily use items that are for purchase. Sometimes, you can find random stuff here that you may need or want that you can't seem to find anywhere else. Still, the Dollar Store is an alternative to the fast paced Walmart, department stores, and a good way to just patronize small businesses when you need to save a few dollars and cents. This Dollar Store is located at the Four Hills Village Shopping center, 13110 Central Avenue NE here in Albuquerque, NM. They accept major credit cards, which is always a great thing, as well as cash. Since they are located in a prime strip mall location, the parking situation here is quite nice and plentiful.I would like to recommend this store for anyone and everyone who wants to save money on daily stuff. While I do recognize that this place can be a dumping ground for second hand items, you can find a good selection of bargains, if you know what to look for. My experience here at the Dollar Store here in Albuquerque, NM was as peachy and average as they come. It's quite organized and at least they have air conditioning, I believe. The experience taught me saving money while traveling is always a nice thing to do while supporting local businesses. I thought that the Dollar Store here is clean, but a little disorganized when it came to arranging their stuff - as compared to larger retail establishments. Still, I can't complain when everything here is priced at $1 per item. You can't beat that for sure. The staff was helpful when I needed to ask if they carried a certain product here. While I did by a non Apple earbud set for $1, I quickly learned that the shoddy craftsmanship by the product manufacturer made me realize that you won't buy when they have it here at the Dollar Store. Still, you do get what you pay for when you shop at the Dollar Store. The thing came apart after two uses and that got me a little mad. What can I say, the thing cost me a $1 and at least it wasn't a total lost. Upon check out, the staff was friendly and it was quick. Got in and out within an hour or so of browsing and discovering. 3.0 stars for the overall experience. 4.0 stars for the deals and steals to be had here, depending on what you're looking for. 5.0 stars for everything at $1 per item! It's a good thing when it is. Definitely recommended if you are a bargain hunter. Support local! B
