Do NOT recommend Was…read morea patient for over 15 years, never missed an appt. ever. I missed one due to being sick with pneumonia, was required to pay a missed appt. fee in order to reschedule. After 15 years, no warning, even after knowing the reason. Second, if you forget to confirm your appt. they will cancel it without letting you know. My daughter has shown up for two appointments only to be told they were canceled because she didn't confirm the already agreed upon appointment. Apparently, it's OK for them to break appointments as they please, but not OK for their customers. The double standard is astonishing. When they cancel without notice: no accountability. When you cancel unexpectedly due to illness: immediate penalty. This practice has become rigid, punitive, and completely lacking in basic customer care or common sense. We will be finding a new dentist, and I would encourage anyone considering this office to be aware of their policies and how they are enforced -- and continue looking. Dr. Alex however is the most condesending, and rude person I have met in quite a while. I was in the process of getting root canals and trying to figure out what the next step was, I was getting all sorts of mixed messages and I was told several times when I would call on a Thursday that I would get a call back on the follwing tuesday, and then I would have to call back a week later. This happened 3 times. I was told different things, by different people and then made to feel as if I was being difficult. If I am told that I am getting a call, then I expect a call. If I do not recieve that call days after I supposed too. I am going to call again. Finally I was greeted by Dr. Alex who refused to take any accountibility, mis communication or not, I have the voicemail, and she said I was being unreasonable and did not know where my expectations were coming from that they would call me back. Never in my life have I come across a business this unprofessional and unaccountable. Additionally I find it ironic they can not get back to me in 3-4 weeks via phone, but they can overnight me a letter saying I am no longer a member at their practice.

The last tooth extraction that I did have, which was done at a "chain" dental location, was not a good experience, and I was in pain for well over a week. Looking at the reviews online I was a little skeptical about coming but i was in such agonizing…read morepain with this abscess I had in my mouth that was so bad I looked like i had a golf ball in my mouth and my eye was purple and extremely swollen from lymphedema and I was desperate. but i am extremely grateful for dr.Fox and his team as I was able to be scheduled the next day for a consultation and Dr.Fox did the drainage the same day. I only felt a pinch and it was over in no time. Best decision ever and I recommend this office 1000% I have no dental insurance and I am so grateful that I didn't have to pay thousands of dollars and I got immediate relief of pain. & I didn't need a referral. It's the next day and i have no pain at all and I am so thankful to be pain free and have all that pressure on my mouth gone.

(See previous review) And guess what happened? The Valley Family team called me regularly with available cancelations until a date and time finally opened up that fit my schedule perfectly. I just had my first appointment and let me tell you--I walked out smiling, and not just because they cleaned my teeth. I found my dental family. The vibe was relaxed, the office staff and dental techs were friendly and professional, and the hygienist knew exactly what she was doing. But the real star of the show? Dr. Greg. This man walked into the room radiating comfort, confidence, and calm which immediately put me at ease. I was instantly sold. I am now officially a new client of Valley Family Dentistry.
