We founded Counseling Empowerment because traditional therapy was only partially effective. The fact is that everyone can benefit from guidance, healing, and growth in their lives. We at CEC have experienced similar challenges that you experience, hurt, grief, frustration, rejection, success, estrangement, divorce, and other life-changing events. It shows courage to seek help, it is a sign of strength, not weakness. We have discovered, through personal experience, that empowering you is more life-changing and sustainable than traditional counseling. We not only apply strength-based and proven modalities, we also apply practical approaches that have been proven effective in fostering change. We grew from personal experience what it's like to sit in the patient's seat. We know from that experience what realistically works for positive change and what does not. Meet the Manager: Joseph R.

Hello, I am Joe the business owner and lead psychotherapist. I graduated from MVCC with an AAS degree in Chemical Dependence, a BS from Niagara University, an MSW from Syracuse University, and a Doctorate in Metaphysical Psychology from Sedona University. I am also trained in EMDR and Internet Gaming Disorder. All that said, I am a fellow human being on this challenging journey called life. I have faced many of the same challenges you have, and I hope to guide you toward inner freedom. I am genuinely interested in your journey to get to this point. Life has presented a challenge, and we team up with you to find a long-term, sustainable solution that meets and often exceeds your goals. It takes your commitment to change, along with our guidance.
