Super fast, even during the holidays. I have 2 complaints, which were addressed. The first, I ordered square sinks and the granite was cut round and we only discovered this after the vanity was ripped out. They were accommodating and gave us the vanity for 50% off and we agreed to let them install the round sinks. The 2nd complaint was when they were installing the backsplash in the kitchen they deliberately installed 2 fractured pieces and tried to cover it up. They did come back a week later and replace it, but it was a waste of time when they could have addressed it during installation. Overall I love the new counters.

Their policy is to collect payment first, then they tell you the date the can install the granite. I asked via text how long it would take for service completion after remitting payment; they said one week (via text). They called to collect payment, but prior to providing my card information, I asked again to confirm the week timeline; they confirmed. A few minutes after they processed the payment, I get a call telling me service will be complete on 3/26 (longer than a week). I tried to ak why is the timeline changing. The person on the phone cut me off telling me he was not going to be questioned or disrespected and that he could give me a refund, as he continued to cut me off. I texted to issue a refund, which they have not issued. I called my card company to monitor the account to issue a dispute. Between the bait and switch tactic this company uses to try to trap you to do business with them, the disrespect and unprofessionalism, and sloppy business dealings (i.e. texting the other customer's invoices to me), I would stay as far away as possible from this company.

I needed to make a repair at the doorway that was widened to accommodate wheelchair access from the master bedroom to the master bath. Merit's representative, Isaiah Parham and I agreed to repair carpet taking swatch from my master bedroom closet that would match existing carpet. In addition I had 1 piece of laminate flooring that bubbled on the surface needing replacement. I had extra laminate for that repair. I subsequently was quoted $800 to make the repairs. This, in my personal opinion, is a very outrageous price given it should only take 1 hour max to make both repairs. Due the lack of good faith in providing reasonable pricing for this repair, I would never ever recommend Merit Carpet due to their lack of basic customer service.

do not buy here. the staff is incompetent. i received a doa uline ice maker after spending…read more$65,000 in appliances. well actually first they lost one of my ice makers so i had no ice maker. simultaneously also had a broken wall oven door with a repair happening 8 motnhs later as they forgot tp order that piece. we moved in and turned appliances on in march 2023. i have been calling since april of 2023 as the ice maker is full of water and still have no replacement. i was told i needed a repir but the unit is also full of mold for the past two months. i did not get replacement parts which i later refused to accept when tehy didn't come but i also never got the replacement unit i was promised over two months ago now. shari and joel are a total joke. buy elsewhere. you can get better customer service from anywhere and i repeat anywhere else. i have been waiting 7 months for this problem to be rectified. my builder also told me he had a nightmare with one of his own appliances needing repair and that "joel used to be good" go online and save yourself the headache. i did have some damage with an online appliance purchase which was resolved immediately by someone over the phone from another company who actually cared about their customer service. oh yeah and i am yelling in caps. i am furious!

I would check with other local companies like A&D, Kirklands and Hardwood Floors and more. We've used all of them for work over the years and had better experiences with the work and management.

While the consultation eventually picked up, it veered off course when she began talking about her personal life--how she used to have a large home and now her family is adding on. It felt unprofessional and irrelevant. She told us we'd receive a quote by the following week, but added that if she forgot, we should call to remind her. That's not how professional service works--especially when I'm the one looking to spend my hard-earned money. It's now been over two weeks, and we still haven't received anything. First impressions matter, and this one was a red flag. I recommend looking elsewhere.
