It is also difficult to find someone to work on an I/O motor. I can't say enough wonderful things about a couple of Pier 36's boat mechanics (Caleb and Daniel). I could tell the minute I met Caleb that he knew what he was doing and had lots of experience. I needed my bellows replaced and he took the time to make sure everything was fine with my boat after the work was finished and we put it back in the lake. He even called me a couple days after he did the work to make sure everything was okay (great customer service in my opinion). Caleb and Daniel also replaced my ignition switch because the starter was engaging when I switched from forward to reverse which caused a terrible grinding noice. Caleb also adjusted some cables and now my shifter lever is smoother than ever. I am very pleased with the service I have received and I highly recommend Pier 36

Unfortunately parts for my coach are hard, if not impossible, to obtain now. Tim and his crew did a wonderful job at fabricating the needed parts and blending them into the existing surfaces. In a rather strange turn of events my neighbor also suffered similar damage to his coach and chose to take his rig to a different body shop for repairs. The results could not have been more night and day. The work that was done by the other shop was shoddy at best. ( I had them quote my repair, and the prices were nearly identical ) All body shops are not created equal. I am so glad I chose Independence.

Duane was easy to reach and easy to schedule. I called on a Monday and he was able to get the hitch and install it that same week on Wednesday. He came out to my house as scheduled. He brought a bike rack which turned out to be exactly what I was looking for (tray-style), and it was much more reasonable than the one we had considered purchasing, so we decided to add that, too. My most recent experience was purchasing a truck that had the transmission fail on me less than 200 miles down the road. Of course they are using the truck was sold as is reason for giving me no help and feeling "really bad" about the whole thing. The transmission shop told me the fluid and filter were new so you do the math. I would not only not recommend this business but I would recommend you tell others about them. Take it from me, you will regret the day you buy anything from Robertson.

The first trail supply company wasn't familiar with the structure of a 2001 Yukon truck. He called Ohio Trailer Supply company and the gentleman was able to explain the structure of the truck to my husband, but that isn't what caused me to write this review. What impressed me is that after the gentleman took my husband's information and payment, for some reason before putting in the order he doubted himself and was humble enough to call and confirm the information. By doing that he saved everyone time and money. I really respect their professionalism. Thank you. I only gave four stars because we just placed the order.
