This was my 4th or 5th stay at Country Cabins, and my 3rd time staying in the 'Moose Cabin', #210. I stay here for the convenience and price, but the owners/staff could be doing a much better job of cleaning and maintaining the cabins. For example, during this stay, out of 5 lamps/sconces in my cabin, every one of them had a bulb out, resulting in the interior feeling very dim/under-lit. During the day I could open the window shades for more light but then privacy was diminished. Also, there were many, many dust bunnies under the beds and extensive and obviously aged cobwebs (meaning they appeared to have been there a LONG time) in every corner and on every lamp and sconce. It's still the only place to stay in Mountain View, and the location is convenient with a very-well-stocked Mavericks gas station across the street, a coffee shop down the street, and easy access to a major highway. I would just like it to be cleaner. By the way, this feedback was provided to the owner/manager on my last visit and upon check out this visit, and was acknowledged without any comment or apology. read more

Our stay at Country Cabins was terrific. We stayed 3 nights over Easter weekend. It was very comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. The first evening, we couldn't figure out how to get the TV to work. I texted Alma at 10:15 pm. He explained what we needed to do to set it up. He even offered to come to our cabin to fix the issue. We followed his suggestion & it resolved the issue immediately! We were then able to watch TV series & movies on Roku for free. We really appreciated staying at the Country Cabins!! Country Cabins Inn is a great place to stay. My cabin was perfect, clean and comfortable. I could make my coffee, warm up my breakfast and sit at a table. Super comfortable beds and bedding. There were jets in the bathtub. The community around the Inns is beautiful. A close park to walk my dogs and very pet friendly. It was safe and I will be back. read more

I called this amazing place in the middle of the night from 6 hours away. My son had broken down on the highway close to Country Cabins with VERY limited lodging options to contact. Though it was the middle of the night, the phone was answered and the gentleman was a true angel in helping have a place for my son to sleep for the night for a really reasonable price until I could come get him the next day. He even checked in on him the next day. Outstanding, hard to come by type of service. I'm forever grateful! read more

I stayed at the country cabin, honestly I had been past before and never noticed them. they are small individual cabins, well appointed. I would stay there in a heartbeat, communication was incredible, I didn't get an opportunity to interact with anybody from the cabin. as a bonus there is a Chinese restaurant on the property that is outstanding, and you better come with an appetite. highly recommend read more

We got stuck in a snowstorm on I-80 and they closed the interstate down. We made it to the Inn and secured one of the last open rooms. They had a no dog policy, but waived it so that we would have somewhere safe and warm to stay for the night. The owner who checked me in was so nice and helpful! Our cabin was very warm and cozy. We slept great in the big king bed and loved how quiet it was not having anyone above us like in a hotel. I wish there were more spots like this! I'd never stay in a hotel again. read more

Very pleasantly surprised by this place. I drive cross-country a couple times per year visiting family, and just now found this place. Very clean rooms. Each room is a private cabin - either 2 Queens or 1 King bed. Jetted tub, shower. The room has a Roku TV which is nice - just sign in to watch Netflix, Vudu, etc. and it'll sign you out when you checkout. Mini-fridge, microwave, table & chairs, plus a little porch outside with 2 chairs to sit and enjoy the outside. Coin laundromat on-site is convenient - especially during winter months. Awesome staff! Owner had a family event the night I was to check in, so he just left my cabin unlocked with the key inside. Took care of payment when I checked out. Very understanding, trusting, and thoughtful staff. As for the location, it's only about 8min south of I-80, so very convenient. In a very small town with friendly people. There's a gas station right across the street, a supermarket nearby, a Pizza Hut, Subway, American restaurant, and a GREAT Chinese restaurant right next door too! Will be going back here every time I drive through now. read more

This place has the chance to be great except for some little things. Checked in late (car navigation is the pits) so was quite happy to find our cabin ready and comfy. First little thing. Three hangers were all that was there and looked like leftovers from another visitor. And even though 3 adults were staying there was only towels for 2. Unless you count the hand towels then one person. Same with the kitchen chairs. Full size table but only enough chairs for two people. The lighting is fantastic, more than enough lights to really illuminate the place. Second issue came up the next day when I went out to sit in the outside chairs. You'd think, wow chairs outside for each cabin. That part is pretty nice, where is the table to put your cup of coffee down on while you are enjoying the outdoors? We ended up dragging the kitchen chairs outside to use as a side table and foot rest. Would be nice if somebody were to clear the bird nest out of the outside light too. Surely that egg is long dead by now. All and all it is a nice and comfy place to stay and we will be making reservations for next year. Oh, dinner at the restaurant was very good. Next time we will share a couple of dishes so we don't have leftovers. Kind of hard to eat leftovers at the cabins without silverware or a plate. read more

Great end to our day! We drove all day in some pretty nasty weather and were not happy about having to stop in the middle of nowhere, Wyoming. We had to drive about 5 miles out of our way to get to the cabins but we didn't want to stay at the other hotel in town. We found it odd that when we pulled up, the building is half office, half Chinese restaurant. Ummm....ok. We questioned our choice even more so when we realized that no one was at the desk but instead, left a number to call. We called, the gentleman arrived just a few minutes later and really turned our night around! He was very pleasant and even gave us a discount because it was late. Our cabin was so cute! The beds were comfortable, the cabin was clean, and the Chinese restaurant was actually really good! (HUGE menu, waitress was busy and a little forgetful but the owner/cook came out and picked up the slack) There is also coin laundry facilities available on the property but we didn't have a need to use them. I don't have plans to end up in Lyman, Wyoming again but if I do, I know where I'm staying! read more

This was a lucky find. We found ourselves stranded on I-80 between Rock Springs and Evanston when the highway patrol shut down the entire length of freeway across Wyoming due to weather conditions. With three people and a pet crammed in our car we checked nearby hotels to bed down for the night. We weren't the only ones stranded that night and we feared every small hotel nearby would be filled to capacity. Country Cabins popped up on our phone search and we called to explain we had a pet with us. The gentleman who owns the facility gladly explained he could accommodate a pet and simply took down our name for the reservation. We had no idea what to expect in rural Wyoming. If it was warmer than the 10 degrees and 30+ mph winds outside, then we were ahead of our current situation. What we found was a true hidden gem. The cabins were larger than expected, impeccably clean, and very quiet with them being a block off the main road. Perfect for up to four people. The beds were comfortable, even more so than our high quality mattress at home. After walking into our cabin we came across a sign that stated no pets, so the owner had made a very kindly exception given the winter conditions and our desperate situation. After settling in we heard a knock and opened the door to find the owner bearing a Christmas gift for our younger daughter, a Ty Beannie Baby toy. What an incredibly kind person and I can't thank him enough for the terrific facility and his amazing kindness. read more

We were so pleasantly surprised by our experience at the Country Cabins. Being on a cross-country flight in a small plane, you sometimes find yourself in a town you did not plan to stay in (due to weather). We landed in Fort Bridger which seemed like the middle of nowhere. 360 degree view from the little airstrip, perched up on a plateau and not much to see as far as a town nearby. The gentleman who lives there at the air field pointed us in the direction of Country Cabins. No car, no taxi...no problem. Levi came and picked us up (about 15 miles away) and brought us to the lodge. The cabins were full but luckily they had one room left in the lodge which was bed and breakfast style accommodations. The unlikely bonus was a Chinese restaurant that occupied the downstairs area next to "check in". Seemed weird being in a small country town but man was it good! Spicy so watch out but fantastic food and healthy portions. The room was very clean and cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked and very accommodating for whatever we needed. We also strolled down to the bowling alley and had a beer at the bar. Met some wonderful people. Overall we were very happy with our stay and extremely grateful we didn't have to bust out the tent and camp at the airport! We will definitely stay there again if we get the chance. read more

Country Cabins Inn happened to be the only non-chain place to stay in a good location on my cross country trip. It's just off I-80 so it's a great place to stop while you're on the road. The cabin was clean and looked nearly new. There were two beds, TV with every cable channel, clean bathroom, fridge, and coffeemaker. We enjoyed our one night stay at the cabins. Most in town hotels were closed after 9pm and wouldnt answer their phones. This place answered our phone call and we came there the next afternoon and it was great! Beautiful teal quilt bedspreads and comfortable pillowtop beds! Clean, warm, cozy, Nice jet tub, fridge, hairdryer, and working coffee maker. We were pleased and got a good nights rest! Good price. Thank you Country Cabins!
