My son attends the Camas location. He loves going to day care every day! The small class sizes are great and he gets the love and attention he needs. He's always warmly greeted when dropped off in the mornings and he's always happily playing when we pick up. They use an app during the day so I'm able to see pics and his schedule throughout the day. He does lots of art and outside play in all weather conditions (which we love!)! I have to say SHAME on YELP! Country Campus is an amazing center.... the owners Steve and Heather work so hard to be sue to continue to help the growing of Battle Ground and Camas by accepting STATE FUNDED childcare. they are one of the very few centers in the area that do. do your research before judging a center based on these stupid reviews of unhappy parents. This center has to jump thru sooo many hoops to accept state families and its very costly. I was thinking of opening a inhome which is much easier until I spoke to some staff about the EARLY Achievers requirment they have for the center... I cant believe that the state requires them to have certain items and numbers of items per child. I can defintly tell you.... this center and staff are far better then any commerical center I have toured, yes their pay stinks... but again this center is filled with state families whom only pay $15-$65 a month for care and then the state pays much less then the actual daily rate. Do the owners ot respond to emails right away? Well could you if you work full time and have a family? Yes I agree the buildings need updated, but again that comes at a cost, the owners already put their own personal savings back into the business and do not take an income currently. so to thos people that want to leave a nasty review or judge a business based on a nasty review, you clearly have no clue how this world works. I see many great reviews on here after they had an open house, but yelp dosent view them and here the center sits. if the center could review the parents on a site like this that would be great... Parent does not pay on time, does not bring lunch for child, picks up late, drops off before their schedule, brings child in in yesterdays clothes, more concerned about their nails, clothes, and car but yet only pays $15.... yes I have seen it all in the few years my kids have gone to the center, and the staff take it with a smile!!!! I used to wok here and I only worked 2 days. They hired me for the new center but I never started there, they told me there weren't enough kids so it never came to pass. Really frustrating as I was looking forward to working as an infant teacher. Unorganized. Took them 3 weeks to get me my first and only paycheck. read more

This daycare is accusatory, judgemental and extremely unprofessional. They do not keep staff on during their regular business hours. Our child comes home often bruised and last week he was literally bitten by another child in another classroom. The rooms are small, cramped and dated. My son attended after school care at Country Campus for the 2014-2015 school year. My son's file was lost three times, so I had to continue to fill out paperwork periodically. There were constantly new staff members, I could not keep track. Communication with the staff is terrible. I was told one thing by the manager, and another by the owner, and another by the staff members. The staff members were constantly complaining about their boss and how horrible they are treated. I was assured I would not get charged for my son not attending Spring break, because I gave a long enough notice. However, I was charged and Heather, the owner, refused to reimburse me. Ultimately I took my son out of this daycare for safety reasons. He was "forgotten" to be picked up by the van driver after school on three occasions. His last day of school he had piles of things to bring home. He sat in the parking lot with all of his stuff, and no one came to get him. The school is disgusted by this, as am I. I called Country Campus from work to see where the hell the van driver was, but there was no answer. I left a message and received a call back 3 hours later. The van driver left me an apology on my voicemail. But as for the manager and the owner....very cold and unapologetic. They were not sorry that my son was left at school. They seemed only concerned about making sure the van driver was scolded. I feel like child safety does not come first here. read more

DON'T waste your time or money!! GO someplace else!! When I originally began looking for childcare I talked with Joanna at Country Campus. She was hard to get ahold of, didn't return phone calls. When I was finally able to talk with her she was very vague in answers regarding tuition for full days & half days, # days of week required for care and transportation questions. I had talked with 3-4 different people and got different answers from everyone. I began this process in late July early August and by the first day of school I finally had things nailed down with them. My 3 year old HATED it!! She cried everyday that anyone dropped her off. Jason the teacher in the 3-4yr old class, does not do things with the kids, just lets them play, occasionally reads stories, but never does crafts or projects related to seasons or holidays. My 5yr old loved it!! she had a differ teacher. We were never told anything about which classroom my 3 yr old would be in so it was a confusion everyday. One day she would be with the 3 yr olds the next day with the 4 yr olds. POOR communication skills at this place!! Let me also say that there are 2 buildings to this site in Battle Ground. My kids were not in the same building. They rarely went outside to play. My younger one was in the "white house" which STINKS! all the time everyday! there is a "outdoor" play area here that is really just an enclosed area between 2 buildings, no fresh air in here. My older one was in the "brown house". It was not as stinking but the kids are older and playing and sweating, so you can decide on that one. Again rarely went outside to play. both buildings are in need of updating. They have small rooms with little for your child to do. The billing is done by email. we only every received 1 bill. I had to go in, call, & email several times to get our bill so that we could pay it. I was charged $25 late fee for not paying on time. Also they have you clock in and out on a computer. You are never told or shown how to do this, but if you don't you are charged $10 for not doing it per incident. Again POOR communication skills!! They never had our name spelled correctly on the kids files even after repeated times of informing them. Our email was correctly on file as were our phone numbers. One day, in the trails of getting a bill that hadn't been paid yet, we got a call from the school my 5yr attends saying " nobody has picked up your child yet" when we called the childcare center they then informed us that "we can't have her in care until the bill is paid in full", OH MY GOONESS, we had to scramble to get her picked from school and find care for her. WE were also told that we would be charged for any days that she was scheduled to be there but was not allowed to be there until the bill was paid. We still had NO bill!! This place is EXTREMELY unprofessional, lacks communication on all levels. RUN AWAY!!!!! read more

Literally the WORST childcare providers!!! This placed should be shut down immediately. I was warned by one of the teachers that the food might not have been cooked properly. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! The play area was a joke. Teachers were complete morons and had the audacity to imply that my child might be mentally retarded or even psychotic because she plays by herself and talks to herself. NEWSFLASH! She's an only child. They also overcharged me on several occasions and it took calling the owner and threatening a lawsuit to get my money back. Wouldn't recommend these idiots to my worst enemy. Their license should be investigated by the state. read more
