Everyday it was like I was walking him to prison (and he had been in daycares his whole little life, so it was not just separation anxiety). I observed, spied, discussed with his teacher and administrator with no results. Finally I took a chance and moved him to CMS. His first day showed a change in our lives immediately - he was happy and eager to see his new friends (and he did not want to go back)! This year is his "leadership year" as a kindergartener, and I could not be more thankful with how self-confident and joyful he has grown. My son has a weak immune system and gets sick very easily and often in crowded environments…read more Finding a preschool that is outdoors and takes extra precautions has been so great for him. I have grown much more comfortable getting my kids outside in most weather conditions with the right gear. So even when it is terribly cold out, all bundled up my son LOVES being outside at school. I love the mixture of learning with nature (he loves exploring) and typical educational things like letters and numbers. The staff is very sweet, and they take weather conditions very seriously if it is too dangerous to be outside.

Overall, this is a great school…read more However, the Board of Directors and head of school just decided to increase tuition by almost double the inflation rate, while simultaneously removing sibling discounts, resulting in year over year tuition increases of almost 25% for a family of three and 34% for a family of four. The justification for such a decision is still really unclear but certainly leaves some serious questions. If you send decide this is the school for you, as we did, just be aware you may be looking at SHARP tuition increases way beyond the normal cost of living.

The curriculum and education decisions that this school makes and implements is the best. Reading Without Tears in kindergarten is one of the best ways to help our early readers and I am so thankful that they use this here. Chapel, PE, dance, worship, outdoor play, and small class sizes are all part of the reason for us choosing private school with CCA. The top reason, perpetuating the love of Christ. There are also great ways to connect with other parents. I have joined the book club and I am looking forward to taking the adult hip hop class! Our daughter is thriving in her classroom under her teachers guidance. She looks forward to school every day and as a mom, nothing can beat my child's positive attitude toward her education in her formative, primary years!! As a kindergarten teacher I have really high expectations about child care and have recommended Tree Hill to many families. They left my 2 year old outside in the rain for a half hour because they forgot him during "recess"…read moretime. My son was traumatized for months from it. It wasn't as big of a deal as it should have been, because something could have happened to my son. They are located on a busy street and my son could have easily been kienqpped, gotten hurt on the slippery wet equipment. He was cold and scared and it broke my heart. and the teachers still work there. All they did was have them work in a pair for a while. Endangering a child's life deserves more than just having a buddy to watch over you. There are too many kids for the teachers to look over. Teachers were very nice, but for how expensive they are... I wouldn't go again ever

He continues to ask about his teachers, and he's very much interested in independent play and while as being patient and waiting his turn. I've been able to keep him engaged longer in activities at home than before. I really love the way they have their setup and credit them for potty training my kid. They were incredibly flexible with my needs to bring his own food due to allergies, which was such a relief to me. Always treating you with a smile know matter how chaotic it was inside.
