We booked Darcy and team to help transport guests to our wedding ceremony, from ceremony to reception and back home and highly recommend them for any other couple. We used a bus and 2 14 passengers vans which were clean, safe, comfortable and very nice. They're a busy bunch, so communication was sometimes a little spotty when planning, but there wasn't any question about commitment. Darcy met up with us the day before to drive the routes and even ended up finding us time efficiency in our schedule. Here is a real review based on a real experience (not random 5-start reviews from CA and WA for a company in Maine). Country Coach Charter pulled the old bait-and-switch on me, pocketed my deposit, and refused to refund me the money back when I received the invoice (months before the date of service) with services we did not agree on. Several months before my wedding, I requested a coach bus with air conditioning that seats 50. Darcy immediately responded and asked me to fill out a form on her website and submit the deposit, and she would immediately send over the invoice. Wanting to lock down transportation, I foolishly did so as I thought this was a honest, business relationship. When I finally received the invoice, it was for a a shuttle bus that doesn't even seat 50, with no air conditioning in the middle of summer (the shuttle bus wasn't even pictured on their website or facebook page). When I respectfully emailed back immediately saying that this is not what we agreed on, and if I could receive my deposit back, Darcy did not respond for months, after repeated calls and emails. My CC company would not refund me the money either due to filling out the form on her website first (which was my mistake). I am very disappointed that CC of Maine would conduct business in this manner, and am personally insulted that they wouldn't even return my phone calls or emails, even as I was being respectful. We rented their trailer restrooms for our event and ALL of our guests could not believe how nice their restrooms were! They were VERY clean, well taken care of and Darcey and her husband were such a pleasure to work with. We would recommend them 100 times over! Look no further - you're missing out if you don't hire Darcy and her team at Country Coach Charter. Darcy was the highlight of our 4 day road trip. She quickly took charge of our group and kept us on schedule, often improving our schedule, while making very solid recommendations on where to go (and not go). She's an excellent driver with a sweet ride (fancy Mercedes Sprinter) and an even sweeter personality. Her amazing sense of humor made our road trip so much more enjoyable, and I may have to go back to Maine soon because I miss Captain D already. Myself and 12 of my closest friends used Darcy's services in the Fall of 2019 to get from mid coast ME to Manhattan NYC Cruise terminal and back again 2 weeks later. We had our wedding in Ocean Point (ME)' and had to get people between Wilson Memorial Chapel, Ocean Point Inn, and Ocean Point Marina. Fun rides on the bus with the hills! Darcy made it a lot of fun! The price was reasonable, cheaper than most other companies. I hired her 5-6 days before our wedding, and all went well. We had a bus, and during the downtime, Darcy picked up the 15-passenger van, which we really appreciated. The bus, and the van were really clean. We were offered water (we said no to champagne before the wedding ;) ) We had a blast with Darcy, and the service was professional, and laid back! Where do I begin? My son was getting married at the Pemaquid Lighthouse and we had family scattered all over the area. This was our first wedding and the logistics were difficult, to say the least. Darcy and her crew are great. tHey're the best in the business in Midcoast Maine and I use them every time I'm in Maine as we keep our cars at our house. Country Coach is always on time and the service is at least on the level of most of the companies I have dealt with in major cities, in fact it beats out any car service in Denver and most of the car chains in New York and L.A. We had a bus and two sprinters pick up our guests in hotels and AIR B&B's with a specific arrival time. Every employee of this company were friendly and accommodated us in every way.
