This donut shop is 2 minutes away from my house. I'm all for supporting small businesses, and this morning I took my son for some donuts. The owner (husband) was EXTREMELY nice! My 10 year old loved it too, it was necessary for the owner to be nice for no reason. His first response was [Heya Fellas! Like watcha see?] that IS the way you greet customers! The apple fritters!!! We read Christine M's review where she said the apple fritters were way better than Baker's Dozen. We were skeptical and cynical. We did a side-by-side test this morning. The Country Donut apple fritter is superior. It has apple in most every bite and Baker's doesn't. Baker's was our national favorite for years until this morning!! Now it's our second favorite. Both fritters had the magnificent crunchy outside and soft insides. Both were not greasy. Of course, my first review is for donuts. :-/ For me this is the best donut shop in Corona, or if your passing thru STOP HERE for donuts. My goto's: Plain Butter Croissant -- They're flakey, buttery and fresh, but they go pretty quick (the stuffed aren't worth the extra 75 cents for lunch meats stuffed in). Chocolate Buttermilk -- Those lumpy ones on the left, don't be fooled they're always moist inside. Glazed ole Fashioned -- ugh. Like little lopsided halos of deliciousness. The donuts are fine that's the only reason I gave it 1 star; they charged me 4 times on my account for one transaction and are unable to be reached and profusely refused to simply pay me back the cash he owed me while I was there. The man said he would call me to refund me in cash once he confirmed with the bank (so I now have to waste more of my family trip time driving back to the store wasting more of my gas) and he hasn't called. $50 later for donuts it will ruin your whole day. Haven't actually been here but my sister brings us their amazing apple fritters when she comes to visit. These things are delicious and full of apples. They are so moist and stay that way even after sitting out for a few days. If the fritters are an indication of their overall quality then I'll be needing to head to NORCO for some donuts! read more

Would have been 4 stars but if you use your card you have to pay their $1.50 fee PLUS another mysterious fee, in my case an additional $2.50. Their terminal processes like an out of network ATM and that wasn't clear otherwise I would have went to the 7 Eleven across the street to get cash. So for 6 donuts, I paid $10.00 plus a $1.50 ATM fee and received $3.60 cash back but when I checked my account this morning was charged an additional $2.50 so these 6 donuts ended up costing me $10.40 ($6.40 for 1/2 dozen, plus their $1.50 fee, plus another fee of $2.50). Throw the whole terminal away and just say CASH ONLY. The donuts were good (1 star), the guy was nice when I bought my donuts (1 star) and the lady was nice when I called to complain but there really wasn't a solution offered, so I won't be back. She tried to tell me my bank charged me the $2.50 but as you can see in my photo they both came from the same merchant. Baker's Dozen it is. read more

Very Good we really stay away from Dohnuts but when we have to have a Dohnut Fix this is the shop we get ours from.They are consistant fresh and they don't have that wierd taste when the oil does not get changed enough...I always see the wife at the Gym and I have to Wink at herLOL! Enjoy their apple fritter even though I am sure they are trying to kill fritter livers by leaving so much grease in the fritters but they sure taste good. Not dry. The clever devils have come up with some kind of new blueberry topping for their french cooler donuts this will surely be the demise of me. I've been getting donuts from here since 1999 ..Best donuts in town then and still now.. I love their maple buttermilk donut with whole milk.. best combination ever. They have a variety of different donuts to choose from. I love that they use american cheese for their ham n cheese croissants.. You must try the Ham n Cheese with Jalapeno.
