We were craving donuts and stopped by just before closing. There wasn't much left, but what we did get, we enjoyed. The buttermilk maple and apple fritters were still fresh and satisfied the craving. Sunny's makes their batch of donuts at 4am and 12pm. So if you want a bigger selection and warm donuts advise to be there at the times mentioned. The customer service is great the interior has a few tables to sit down and enjoy coffee and donuts. read more

ZERO Stars! I called to see about placing a large order of donut holes for my child's birthday, a woman hung up on me. I thought perhaps we were disconnected so I called back and she would not answer the phone. I will never be sharing my experience with everyone in the area and sending business to Donut Star off Limonite and Etiwanda or Dunkin on Hamner. Very rude. I should've looked them up on here first and saved myself the frustration. read more

coming from east coast where we have bodegas and family owned delis instead of big conglomerate super markets, it is nice to be within walking distance from a donut shop. I seldom buy the lottery, but they have that here and croissants which i love and the classic donut holes!!! i always order a arizona with it and that's my go to i love tiny shops that offer snacks and the donuts are always soft and sweet. read more

I was really craving donuts, and Sunny Donut was the perfect spot for a quick fix! I went closer to closing hours, so the selection was a bit limited, but that was totally expected. The service was fast, just in and out with no wait at all, which was super convenient. I picked up a dozen donuts plus a bear claw, and wow, that bear claw was massive! The donuts were classic, fluffy, and perfectly sweet without being over the top. Each one had that soft texture that you'd expect from a classic pink box donut shop. No pictures because we ate all the goodies before I managed to grab some pics. We came on a Tuesday morning for a quick breakfast. We got 2 pink sprinkle donuts, a dozen of donut holes, and ham and cheese jalapeno croissant. Oh we also added a French vanilla iced coffee as well. The place was busy around 10 am - ish when we visited. The good thing is that parking is plentiful and the 2 ladies working behind the counter were very efficient in what they do. Before we knew it, the lines kept moving up and we were able to order and have our breakfast in our hands. They will charge $0.50 extra if you pay with credit cards and spend less than $10. The ambiance inside is very casual and cozy. They have 2 small tables across from the counter. read more

There aren't many donut places in the area, at least that I know of. I love donuts but don't get them often. When I do, I usually come here for mom and pop donuts. I love the apple fritter and big cinnamon donuts. They have your traditional donuts, but nothing too special. Wish they had slightly more flavors. read more

Terrible Lotto retailer! They're eager to take-take-take your money to sell Lotto tickets, but if you win a small Lotto they rudely deny payment. Lotto rules read that ANY Lotto retailer issue payout or at least prepare to pay out next day. Sunny Donut Shop, Eastvale has NO interest in satisfying customers in this regard. And RUDE as well!!!! I went here with the intention to get myself an Apple fritter then I was like what the heck, why not pick up a half dozen for my family. It was supposed to be $6.25 but I got carried away and got 7 donuts (thinking it was going to be like a dollar more).....nope my total magically became $9. I didn't want to be that person to trip over the fact that at that point I should've just ordered a whole dozen for what they charged me. I visited the donuts shop Tuesday 2/18/2025 at 8:10pm to grab some lottery tickets and get a free replay. There was a male customer in front of me who had a lottery ticket in hand. When it was my turn to be helped I was told by Jessica that she does not have change for $14 dollars from my $20 bill for my lottery tickets. That store does not accept debit cards for lottery. The store only take cash which I knew from previous visits. The worker laugh at me and told me there was no change she could give me from the two registers they have. She inform me that I needed to get the change myself by leaving the store and she would cancel the tickets. There was no apology just a smug attitude. Now my mind went to the fact that I am black and the previous customer was Hispanic just like herself. Before I left I had ask for my replay ticket twice which I believe she was going to take knowing it was my free replay. After getting my replay I went to Ralph's to get my tickets. Called the next day and spoke with a co-owner and she actually apologize for my experience and wanting to give me donuts but I don't eat donuts or needed coffee. I appreciated the offer from her and that's why the review has two stars instead of 1. This experience should have never happen in the first place. read more

Sunny donuts make an excellent tasting product. I prefer going to the location next to Albertsons because they seem to be better staffed. Every time you come to this location there is often a long line out the door. That could be a sign that the food is great or they are understaffed. I would go with the understaffed. With that being said when ever you come in the morning the donuts are always fresh and usually plentiful. Well worth stopping in. They really need to find a way to sell lottery tickets so that it doesn't slow the line for people wanting to buy donuts. read more

Rude service. The female working didn't even acknowledge us walking in, which I didn't really expect. But we started asking questions about some random flavors because some of them were ones I've never seen before. I asked about a particular bright orange colored donut bc I've never seen an orange colored donut....... she didn't even look up at us and just replied "orange" in a way where she basically should have said "it's orange you f*cking idiots." I want to say maybe she's having a bad day, but by the looks of other reviews.... maybe she's just have a stream of bad days or just has a bad attitude. Not only is this place organized, they are rude . I went for a donut this morning on the way to work and what do I find , a hair in my bag . Wasted my money and my time. They need to wear hairnets , this isn't the first time it has happened . I tried then again because things happen and I gave them a second chance. Mistake . Best donuts ever! Always fresh. Girls behind counter are efficient and nice. Our family raves on Sunny Donuts. Other shops in area don't compare. Maple bars, Bavarian custard and sprinkle donuts are the favorite but they are all yummy. You have to go early. Most weekend there is a line. read more

So today was my daughter's 7th birthday. My wife took her here to get a doughnut before school. My little girl was wearing a birthday crown when they went in. Upon getting the doughnut all the employees started to sing to here "Happy Birthday." She was so excited she could barley contain herself. So disappointed in this place I always go in there to get my lotto tickets today .the Thief behind the counter I gave her my ticket i had a free ticket and $12 and she didn't give me my $12 I bought two more tickets and another five dollar ticket and she charged me the nine dollars.. it was a little confusing because other people were there so I didn't pay attention unfortunately she must need the money more than I do.. to the owner or management of this establishment it was a young lady that was working on January 16 at 2 o'clock definitely not trustworthy.. as soon as I got home I called her and told her what she had done she didn't even know what to say..!!! read more

Please check carefully what they charge on your card. I was charged $1.00 for a cup of tap water together with .50 cents for using my debit card. All those happened without first telling about those extra charges. I will stop patronizing this Eastvale est if they keep doing this practice. read more

I recently went to this donut shop and omg let me tell you these donuts were so good. You can tell how fresh they were and the smells were so delicious. Everyone was so friendly especially the young lady that helped me. She was super helpful in recommending new donuts and I wasn't disappointed in her recommendations. The shop was surprisingly super clean and I'd give it a 10/10. 5 stars easily. I definitely recommend this place for fresh donuts and great service. read more

Full disclosure: I didn't eat any donuts from here. But my good gf & her lil nephew did. They ordered classics: chocolate bar, donut holes and a glazed old fashioned. "Not fresh" my friend said.
