Donuts

I was really craving donuts, and Sunny Donut was the perfect spot for a quick fix! I went closer to closing hours, so the selection was a bit limited, but that was totally expected. The service was fast, just in and out with no wait at all, which was super convenient. I picked up a dozen donuts plus a bear claw, and wow, that bear claw was massive! The donuts were classic, fluffy, and perfectly sweet without being over the top. Each one had that soft texture that you'd expect from a classic pink box donut shop. It's a small, simple shop with just enough space for you to grab your goodies and go. If you're craving donuts, I'd definitely recommend stopping by. I know I'll be back!

Perfectly shaped and sweetness of Sunny Donut's dozen box in Eastvale.

Happy to get donuts here locally. Delicious. It's always nice to come and get a dozen donuts for my kids and fresh cup of coffee for myself. Owners are nice. Love supporting family owned businesses.

Love coming to this donut location. Stop as always friendly and even at 3 PM there is a huge variety of donuts you can choose from. My favorites are the old-fashion or chocolate Bavarian cream filled doughnut. Always made fresh and deliver daily. You can also buy lotto tickets at this location.

Donuts were fresh, but not very yeasty as I prefer them. The best one that I ate was the cinnamon roll.

It's like the universe knew I was craving a donut. I was greeted by a very friendly lady when I walked in. I picked out a chocolate twist and a crumb donut, and both were excellent--fresh, soft, fluffy, and full of flavor. It's always nice finding a local spot like this when you're traveling. If I'm back in the area for another tournament, I'll definitely stop by again!

But like a hungry phoenix rising from the ashes, I pivoted to a turkey croissant sandwich and a taro milk tea with boba--and wow, am I glad I did! First things first: this is a true mom-and-pop shop, so you definitely need to support them. Just be prepared to sweat for the cause. There are exactly two benches inside, and the AC situation is non-existent. Think of it as a free sauna session with your meal! Let's talk about this sandwich. For the price, it is an absolute steal. They did NOT skimp on the turkey; I'm talking a Thanksgiving-level mountain of meat. It came loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, raw onions, raw jalapeños (hello, spicy crunch!), mayo, mustard, and a wild-card splash of Italian dressing. Sounds chaotic? Maybe. Tasted incredible? Absolutely. To wash it down, the taro milk tea was perfection. The boba was warm, perfectly chewy, and exactly what I needed to cool down from the meat sweats (and the actual sweats). Support local businesses! I will 100% be back

Saw this place on one of my Yelp friend's reviews and took a special drive and long lunch to go out…read morehere just to try the fritters. They are in a very small strip mall with a small lot so parking is limited. There is some street parking on the side streets relatively close by. They (the bakery) either also have a deli or it is merely adjoined to it. Seating is limited in both areas, but probably more capacity than the lot permits. The people in both the bakery and deli were super friendly. They have a good selection of donuts/bakery products. Their baked goods are very sweet. The apple fritter was super sweet, but you could still taste the apples. It was crunchy on the outer ring and soft in the center--just the way a good fritter should be. The blueberry fritter had a different shape from a traditional apple fritter, but similar texture and sweetness to the apple. You could barely taste the blueberries. The banana fritter was similar in size, sweetness, and texture to the blueberry and so not a traditional fritter like the apple. Overall, the apple was best on this visit, but all three are worth a try. The bacon-maple curler was better than the blueberry and banana fritters, but the apple fritter is still my favorite. Their powdered sugar donut holes are about standard. They were fine, but not as good as the other items. They are also not as sweet, so are a good option if you want a smaller portion and/or something not too sweet--you can order them by the piece. Only strange thing was the bathroom. The deli needs to buzz you into the toilet and once inside then you need to press a button on the wall to buzz yourself out! The area does not look like it, but guess they must have a major homeless problem to do such a thing. At any rate, this was an awesome bakery that was worth the super long drive to go try. According to other Yelpers who live nearby, they do sell out of various items as the day goes on. So if planning to go later in the day, call ahead earlier and ask them to save what you want for you--I did this and they saved the three fritter types for me. They had plenty when I arrived, but would have been super bummed to drive so far to get nothing if they had run out. If you are in the area and want a sweet treat, definitely check these guys out!

Finally tried this place out with the kiddos…read more Parking is a bit rough. It was small and parking spots were tight. It's next to the gas station so there's multiple ways to get there. Via front, side, or alley way. The place is pretty spacious inside. Plenty of seating. There's two areas, one side for sandwiches/drinks and one side for donuts. Inside was clean and had a lot of random decor. I came here with my kids and I was mostly here intrigued about the banana fritter. We ordered a dozen donuts, plus the fritter and two dozen donut holes. Maria was super friendly and helpful and patient as we stood there trying to decide what to get as it was our first time seeing their donut selection. We got regular glazed, old fashion, two types of blueberry donuts, a tiger tail, a cookie and cream (which was very small), a sprinkle donuts, a chocolate donut and a crumble donut. Definitely a variety to try. The total of $27 something (extra charge for card). The banana fritter is good. There's a slight artificial after taste after a few bites but it's still a good fritter. The rest of the donuts were good too, basic and simple for the kids. I didn't see any ham and cheese and jalapeño ham and cheese croissants, just regular plain ones. Not sure if I missed it or it's something you have to order separately and not premade like other donut shops, or maybe it was out since we got there at 930am but that's usually my go to grab & so it was another minor disappointment for me. Overall, decent place for donuts and giving it a 4 stars.
