This was a great place to take our church youth group for paintball. We had a private party and had a great time. Highly recommended.

The best part was the customer service. We had our 3 year old with us and the staff came out to offer him chicken fingers or a hot dog and fries. My son wasn't complaining or anything. They just offered. They brought him chicken fingers and french fries and these were not frozen chicken fingers. This was real breaded chicken and the tastiest fries. The staff was friendly and pleasant and we didn't feel rushed for a second. One person commented that the staff knew what you needed before you did. I don't usually gush like this but I left happy and well fed with a child that was able to hold out until well past his bed time because this place was so awesome.

One of my brdiesmaids had a 3 year old and the wait staff just brought him out these delicious chicken fingers and fries without them even asking or without him even making a fuss about not waning any of the food! The wait staff also came around individually to the table where my fiance and I were sitting to congratulate us on getting married the next day. Beyond the fact that the place was beautiful, food was excellent and the dessert was out of this world, AND my drink glass was never empty, the people working the event that night went above and beyond their duties to ensure every person at our dinner was satisfied. I could not have asked for more and would recommend Bentwinds to anyone who has a need for an event space!

It is in a heavily wooded area on the banks of Harris Lake, and the surroundings are really great. It's a challenging course, at least for me. I've played a few dozen rounds of disc golf, so I'm far from a pro - but I always have fun when I play at Buckhorn. There are blue, white, and red tees at this course. The blue tees are for more seasoned players and they make the holes much more challenging for all levels of players. If you're not a really solid player, you'll want to avoid hole 17 - or use an old disc. The only route to the basket is to throw across a small pond that can be quite daunting. I've never lost a disc there (I've come really close), but my friends have lost quite a few. You almost have to try the hole just to prove to yourself you can make it - just don't be too upset if you lose a disc or two in the process.

There's something about a round of disc golf with the Sharon-Harris cooling towers standing in the…read morebackground that makes you feel uneasy. Or, at least, that's the excuse I use when I ricochet my driver off of one of the many trees along the path. The course is probably the hardest one in the area, but also one of the most fun. While other courses around here prominently feature obstacles such as parking lots and playground equipment, Buckhorn allows you to get lost in the woods, the afore-mentioned cooling towers being the only true signs of civilization. While there is one hole with a large pond that ask you to either truly test yourself or just lay up, I find my favorite test of my faith in my abilities are the holes that require you to toss your disc out over Harris Lake and slice back in towards the chains. The relative remoteness means that there aren't very many folks out there, even on a nice Saturday afternoon; so you can avoid the nonsense that goes with playing at Cedar Hills or Kentwood where you end up shuffling back and forth with other groups. Because it's a little more difficult, the casual disc golfer (that's me) should plan to spend way longer here than at the other local courses. Trust me.

She was early to all of our meetings which is a big plus! She was very attentive & got to know us so that she could incorporate aspects of our personality into our ceremony. Every little idea she came up with thoroughly impressed us. She worked very well with our budget, using her various connections to get us the highest quality at the lowest price. She spent alot of time listening to our ideas and making suggestions. Our ceremony was a dream come true. Priscilla saw to each detail so that we were virtually worry-free the entire day.She is amazing at what she does and is destined for greatness in her field. For someone so young, she is extremely dedicated, professional and passionate. We would recommend her for any event you plan on having people talk about for weeks, months & years!

When I got home I joined them and we got back into the full swing of things. It was wonderful planning together when I got back. She understood exactly what I wanted really quickly, and is much better at verbalizing that to vendors. She could also tell when I wasn't sure if their vision matched mine which is both an amazing and necessary skill for a high quality wedding planner. As someone who didn't dream of weddings growing up, but is a 24 yr old with certain things that I decided we wanted over our 2 yr engagement, this was just perfect! She chose our florist, cake vendor, hair and makeup, transportation, and invitations/stationary. All of these vendors did absolutely beautiful work (both wedding party and strangers commented on all of these individual vendors and their amazing products), and everyone but the invite vendor was easy to work with. On the day of, she was fantastic and my husband and I were stress-free. More importantly, our parents on both sides were stress-free. That's the MOST important part to us. She is WONDERFUL the day of! People joked that our wedding looked like it was sponsored by Pinterest. She made all of that happen, with the gorgeous details and intricate touches, while everyone involved with the wedding was able to enjoy the day and appreciate time with our loved ones. The only reason we didn't give a full 5/5 is for responsiveness. My family is both military and type A. To us status updates are crucial for our comfort in the planning process. Priscilla had it covered, but she didn't want to bother us with the info because she thought that's what we preferred. I told her that I actually preferred updates and liked to be inundated with info rather than wondering, so she adjusted and things were smooth after that. She's great at what she does, and is a pleasure to work with. She never shows stress which is great for brides. I was SO happy with her work and loved spending time with her! One thing I'd also like to add. My mother-in-law used to work with a florist and did a lot of weddings. Our flowers (Gregg Kennedy by the way) were gorgeous, and the price for which we got these flowers were a STEAL. My mother-in-law is still talking about what a great deal we got, and we would not have gotten such a deal without the benefit of Gregg and Priscilla's great relationship.
