They "overadvertised" the club in early spring to attract more users. As a result, "too many people" signed up. I understand that this is all for the money, but they have no means to keep the pool clean to cope with that many users. The pool was not cleaned properly: small objects were swimming in it all summer long. More important, the smell of urine never left the pool since its opening in May 2019. Advise to the management: find the means to properly maintain the facility. As members, we pay a lot of money and it should be worth the damage!

There is a cafe that offers a wide range of food items, snacks, and treats to choose from. They are cash only though. The mail pool has a kids play area and 3 lap lanes. There is also a kiddie pool and a dive area with 2 regular dive boards and one high dive board - that my kids loved jumping off from! The do have 2 water slides that ends in the kiddie pool and is definitely the main attraction for our kids :) There is ample seating options for a pool this size. But the size of the pool may not be enough for the number of members who frequent the pool. Also, parking can be a challenge during busy hours and we have seen folks park on the main street. The RF community called COPS on this person. Cops came and I think they said there was nothing wrong. For no reason, the neighborhood harassed a non-white elderly person, who actually lives in RF (I think). You might think, maybe this was a judgement error by one person. Not really, other Caucasian families cheered and said bravo! to the person who called cops on a harmless senior. ok. It does not end there. Last 1-2 years, there were other incidents when a non-white person rang someone's doorbell (ring door bell) and then the resident started screaming "Home Invasion, Home Invasion!". Another incident happened when an African American lady was at the door, everybody panicked, as if she was a thief or an attacker. I own multiple properties in America. I have lived in many communities. I have never seen this level of Phobia for non-white people. It is like a disease. You want more facts! Well, every year at July 4 celebration, they say they have a "tradition" of welcoming new residents in a convertible car parade (I think). Non-white new residents have never been invited or I have never seen them as part of the celebration. My review will not change anything. It is disturbing. These are my humble opinions.

There was a large lap pool, a smaller lap pool and a toddler pool. The larger lap pool ranged from 3 feet to 13 feet (there is a water slide in the 13 foot section). There were lots of available places to sit. There were chairs that you could take a place on the grassy area and fixed benches closer to the pool. The cost was $5 for kids and $7 for adults if you are Montgomery County residents ($20 otherwise). The large pool was really big and to our surprise there were not that many people there on the day we went. Overall a really great pool and would definitely come again.

5/23/21 This place looks amazing, but many things have…read morechanged since I was a kid. The design of the men and women shows have changed, but especially the location of the showers. An elevator is now available for the handicapped or people who need to be separated for this Coronavirus Pandemic. No long fence to move around to go to the bathroom or get icecream from the icecream truck. However, it looks like this pool might welcome back the icecream trucks, because I did not see the snack shop there. From where I was I saw the middle pool and the baby pool off in the distance. The life guard station was empty, but it looked more roomier than I remember as a kid. Membership and stuff are all online, but since I was in the neighborhood, I thought I would stop by and ask. While there, I discovered two of my sister's records had still yet to be beaten. My pathetic records were beaten with in a year. This was in the early 80's. My diving record was either beaten or I did not see if it was there. The high dive is still gone, but I will always remember jumping off it while it was there back in the 1980's. Would have liked to get a picture from where I entered the pool area, but I did not feel comfortable taking pictures of little kids in their bathing suits. "Guess there is a point I won't go beyond" to quote Hans from Enter The Dragon. Excellent pool and I love what the designer did with the place. Still, I do remember how the step use to have plants with spiders on each side of the stairs. Guess you don't have to worry about that anymore.

The snack bar is run by The Market on the Boulevard and has many options, but it has limited hours and is sometimes closed w/o explanation. The Wi-Fi throughout is nice, and they have a good tennis program. Our wait was 5 years to get in. They have nice events throughout the pool season. Our only complaint is we don't find it friendly; likely, we would know more families if our kids were on the swim team or attended camp.

Oh, but that is why the pool is 82 degrees, which for most of us is cold. - Why is the pool closed daily from 4:30-6:30pm all summer? Again - swim team. Oh yeah - and sometimes weekends for swim meets and pep rallies - for swim team. - Wait - where are my neighbors? Yeah - not a local pool - a "swim and tennis club" - people from DC, Rockville,and as far as Germantown. Not the local kids from Cabin John - their parents tried the waitlist and gave up. Eight years remember? - Where are the kids? Why is the pool so boring and empty? You'll need a good answer because your kids will ask. Well "swim and tennis club" remember - they have plenty of members, they just don't use the pool. To quote my daughter "it's a nice pool with no one to have fun with."
