I felt at ease with their responses and how they were so accommodating to make sure he had a great first visit. The salon is clean and the staff are so friendly! I knew my dog was in good hands. The price was affordable when compared to what we normally paid at PetSmart but included much more! His package included a trim, nail grinding and brushing his teeth. They're always running specials too. Plus it was quick service! It took an hour when compared to the past we usually had to wait over 3-4 hours to get him back. Our dog did wonderful and the staff were so great to him. Definitely taking my dog back here! Highly recommend this for your dog's grooming needs!

He's gets super scared to go in because he thinks i'm not coming down. But seems to lighten up when he gets around Michelle. She talks to him and even has another person help and hug him while he's getting everything done, he loves affection and they give it to him. When they cut his nails he lets them put a muzzle on him because it calms him. Price is reasonable for his size and how long he's there. Staff is always friendly and compliment Ranger on how beautiful he is. They always schedule my next appointment on what's convenient to me.

A bigger dog with short fur that just needs a bath and nails done shouldn't be the same price. $100 for a bath and nails is a bit steep. Also, they don't seem to allow you to pick a day or time? That just seems odd. I would have liked for them to ask if I'd prefer a 6:00 at night appointment or would I be able to come in earlier, or even on the weekend.

Prior to my arrival to pick up my pup, I received a notification stating there was a delay because there were some tangles they were removing. When I asked where, the groomer said behind the ears, around the chest and behind the legs. I said ok and waited for the next txt to pick up my pup. Never was there a conversation saying we can no longer do the style discussed because of matting. When I arrived, my pup had pretty much been fully shaven down with only the portion of his hair I had previously locked, in pigtails. When I expressed my disappointment, the groomer was defensive and rude which is not how you respond to a customer. Her response was well the hair will grow back, which obviously isn't the point. I do feel that she was not as skilled as other groomers I have dealt with and there was no reason to chop the top part of my pup's head especially with there being no matting in that area (I know, because he is groomed constantly and I was worried about that being an issue). Either way, a conversation should've been had with myself to confirm the style could be changed. The groomer's behavior was unprofessional and it very much seemed she did not have the skills to even deal with the negative feedback. So if you have a particular cut in mind, I do not recommend Shampoodle, as it seems they just do what they want and expect customers to be find with it.

They even suggested I look elsewhere. I was told he got too nervous around other dogs. The groomer I have now simply covers him gently or puts him in a crate and covers that space. I think groomers should be prepared to deal with all temperaments.

Apparently, he had an upset stomach and had a loose bowel movement while he was being washed. They called my mother, of which I was with her at the time, and was at the nail salon getting her nails done and a pedicure for me, as I finished up sooner, and she was not done yet and we immediately drove over to pick him up as soon as we got the call. When she got there and went inside, our dog, who is a small Sheltie, was soaking wet. I saw him when she brought him out and he was drenched. We were in her car, not the truck, and had to put a soaking wet dog in the car. More importantly, he seemed very upset and traumatized by the whole experience. We've never seen him like this before. It was as if something horrible happened. It was extremely upsetting for us to see him like that. We rescheduled his appointment for 12 p.m. Saturday so he could be properly groomed. When we returned, the young owner came out, (I was in the car still) my mother explained that my father (after (including myself), felt our dog had been traumatized by what happened. Instead of trying to understand why we were upset, she told my mother that we were no longer allowed at the facility. She walked out, but then went back inside because she wanted to make things right. She apologized for being upset and explained that she knows they would never intentionally hurt our dog. We had trusted them with him for years; we were simply upset and concerned about how he had been returned to us. Even after she apologized and tried to explain where we were coming from, she again told us that we were no longer welcome at their salon. After being loyal customers for years, we were shocked and extremely disappointed by the way the situation was handled. We weren't accusing anyone of intentionally harming our dog. We were concerned pet owners who were upset after picking up our small dog soaking wet and distressed. I and we truly wish the situation had been handled with a little more understanding and compassion.
