I emailed them, asking how they would handle our dog who can be a bit anxious. They responded quickly and set him up with an appointment time when it was quiet in the salon. I felt at ease with their responses and how they were so accommodating to make sure he had a great first visit. The salon is clean and the staff are so friendly! I knew my dog was in good hands. The price was affordable when compared to what we normally paid at PetSmart but included much more! His package included a trim, nail grinding and brushing his teeth. They're always running specials too. Plus it was quick service! It took an hour when compared to the past we usually had to wait over 3-4 hours to get him back. Our dog did wonderful and the staff were so great to him. Definitely taking my dog back here! Highly recommend this for your dog's grooming needs!

I was very disappointed in the service I was provided and the response given from the groomer when…read moreshe asked for my feedback. When I came to drop my pup off, I was very clear in the style of haircut I wanted and explained the reason for this. Prior to my arrival to pick up my pup, I received a notification stating there was a delay because there were some tangles they were removing. When I asked where, the groomer said behind the ears, around the chest and behind the legs. I said ok and waited for the next txt to pick up my pup. Never was there a conversation saying we can no longer do the style discussed because of matting. When I arrived, my pup had pretty much been fully shaven down with only the portion of his hair I had previously locked, in pigtails. When I expressed my disappointment, the groomer was defensive and rude which is not how you respond to a customer. Her response was well the hair will grow back, which obviously isn't the point. I do feel that she was not as skilled as other groomers I have dealt with and there was no reason to chop the top part of my pup's head especially with there being no matting in that area (I know, because he is groomed constantly and I was worried about that being an issue). Either way, a conversation should've been had with myself to confirm the style could be changed. The groomer's behavior was unprofessional and it very much seemed she did not have the skills to even deal with the negative feedback. So if you have a particular cut in mind, I do not recommend Shampoodle, as it seems they just do what they want and expect customers to be find with it.

They even suggested I look elsewhere. I was told he got too nervous around other dogs. The groomer I have now simply covers him gently or puts him in a crate and covers that space. We prepped our baby with anti-anxiety medication which calms her down before any grooming. What we got instead was an extremely poorly done cut on our dog, super choppy all over, her head was still full of hair especially her ears, her entire beard was gone and they left a little straggle of hair on her chin, they shaved down her entire body which we don't mind but they left her sanitary areas full of hair, and there were section of her legs that had random long strands. We had taken her here previously and also had a bad experience but we thought if we explained what we wanted a little more this time around we'd get a better outcome. We understand she's a bit difficult when it comes to grooming, but we've never had groomers not deliver on her standard cut before, there some mistakes here or there but that's understandable, this however doesn't make sense to us. We were so in shock after getting her back that we left and cried on our way home. We're very disappointed with the outcome.
