He ended up walking me through a bunch of different spirits, taking the time to actually explain things rather than just pointing at bottles. What I appreciated most was that he wasn't pushy at all - no upselling, just genuinely helpful recommendations. That's honestly what got me to trust his suggestions, and I walked out with more than I planned on buying. Zero regrets, though.
