This will be the first and last to ever use this facility for grooming our Biechon. Customer service and the quality of the service we paid for was ridiculous. I brought my pup in for grooming, specifically requesting a trim. I mistakenly selected the wrong option on the website -- that's on me. But when I dropped her off, I clearly explained in detail what I was looking for. That information was either ignored or never passed on to the groomer. No one called to clarify, and I ended up paying $40 for a bath I didn't want. When I picked her up, I was repeatedly told I chose the wrong service online -- as if that excused the lack of communication and disregard for my in-person instructions. The staff was dismissive, the booking system is confusing and poorly designed, and the overall experience felt unprofessional and careless. To make matters worse, I booked a kennel stay for December four months ago and still haven't received confirmation. Calling is pointless -- they never answer the phone. This business clearly lacks basic customer service, reliable communication, and accountability. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who values clear expectations and respect for their time and money. read more

My dog goes here twice a week and has boarded here on numerous occasions. the staff are always wonderful and caring and share awesome photos of my dog having fun on Facebook. When we drive up the driveway my dog starts whining and leaps out of the car with excitement because she knows where she's going and she loves Country Paws! read more

Frequent Customer. I have used this facility for my dog a numerous occasions for the last 3 years. I've had a lot of positive experiences and would still used this facility as my go to for my dog. The very first time I had used this facility I had received a "report card" on how my dog interacted with other dogs and their mentality during her stay. I thought this was a great feature! Unfortunately, the first time was the only time they ever provided this again. It is recommended that you book well in advance for weekend or holiday stays as they will be booked solid. My last experience I had... the regular boarding room was booked. I was in desperate need and asked if they had room in "The House". They said they did have availability. When I asked if they would place her there they stated they did not feel comfortable as this was her first time and she would need to be supervised for a while prior to her stay and they did not have the staff. I was very upset as I have been coming for 3 years. Not a very happy experience. I would also agree that the drop off/pick up process has slowed tremendously and this has impacted my review. I still love this facility but they need to fix and tweak some things to be as great as they used to be with their customers. Cost needs to be reviewed for long term stays as a week plus is very expensive and should have a higher discount. Still recommend. read more

Used to bring my dog here for daycare all the time. When I tried to continue my regular weekly reservations back in May they told me they were not taking bookings yet. I checked back mid-June and they told me they were full for daycare for the whole summer! No one ever contacted me to let me know when they were booking! As a regular customer for many years, I was beyond disappointed. Now that I read some of these reviews it's clear this company is not what it used to be. I've started taking my dog to Companion's Pet Resort now. Much better service and care there! read more

Used to be great when I would drop off my dog. Recently; the last two times going there the service is really slow. Took almost 25 minutes to drop off my dogs then another 30 minutes today. Please watch if your dropping off more then one dog. Always always always ask questions and get the answers. Today we had a scare when the bill come to almost 90$ for one night. They failed to tell us that after pick up time (Morning) there is a 12,95$ fee on top of the 13,99$ for the first dog. They waived the fee because under the contract it was not listed. Our dogs has the in an out room. We both knew that the dogs would be dirty or wet when we would pick them up. That's fine. Not a problem. But then when we got their leashes were soaked, smelled like they were dragged through dog droppings and even the blankets and toys were drenched. I asked and they did not have an reasoning why it would be like that. Ever since the company expanded it feels they care more about QUANTITY instead of QUALITY. This review is not to bash the company but more to advise customers before they use their services and not expect the expected. read more

Country Paws was amazing to our Boxer Duke. He didn't want to leave. The staff are wonderful! They took photos and posted on Facebook to update us. I was a bit worried so I emailed them about him and they responded. They are priced a little high but have a wonderful facility. The only thing I would recommend they work on is the slowness. Took 25 min to drop Duke off and 30 to pick him up. read more

I wouldnt recommend this kennel to anyone. I had to file a lawsuit against them after my Dog Rocky died after being here one night. They carried my dog into our vets office on Monday morning and he died of his injuries. This took place back in November 2011. Rocky had endured horrific injuries consisting of a ruptured anus, the pads on his feet were ripped off and patches of skin were missing. He had internal bleeding. I never even got to say goodbye to him. Country Paws London Ontario refused to tell us what happened to our dog. We settled the lawsuit out of court. My decision to settle out of court read more

We've boarded our pup at Country Paws a couple times. I agree the service is getting worse. This most recent time our fully vaccinated pup came home with a serious case of kennel cough. He wasn't exposed to any other dogs for at least a week before and after his 2 night stay. CP says they didn't have any other cases reported. I find that hard to believe. My kids were abused and neglected . I went for vacation so I dropped off my 2 English Mastiffs on March 23 morning. They were very happy and healthy. I sent couple emails asking for them and the staff said they were very good, happy and playful. That was a big LIE. Yesterday, March 29. I picked up my kids around 7:30 am. They just wanted to leave so my husband paid for boarding and bath (I had to bath them again because they were dirty and smelly). When I was driving I saw my dogs face and my female's face was very swollen and she couldn't open her eyes. They were very swollen and with green discharge. They both were very sad. As soon I back home both of them had huge bowel movements and long pee. Like they weren't pee or poop since the day before. They drank almost three bowls of water that I'm not normal at all with them. I called country Paws boarding- London and I left a message. When they called me back I asked them why my dog's face was so swollen and if they had their breakfast. Their answer was that her face has been swollen for couple days and that was because she plays rough with her brother. And that's they didn't feed them that day. I checked my dogs and I start to cry because they were very skinny, swollen, with blood and bruises everywhere, so I called their veterinarian and they gave me a priority appointment. Their vet and assistants were just as shocked as me. My dogs were so sad and with bacterial infections, severe allergies, bruises in muzzle, left back leg was swollen and with bruises. Now they are taking antibiotics, steroids, allergy medication, eye ointment, ear medication. They lost 5 Lb in almost six days they were in that HORRIBLE place called Country Paws Boarding- London. I don't know what they did to them but is clear they were abused and neglected in that place. I DONT recommend this place at all. Don't leave your dog where will be abused. read more

This place has become more than they can handle. I've boarded my dog a few times and experienced kennel cough, filth, and the last time - near death for my cavachon. Their staff is very young, professional employees are not available when needed. After I left there the last time my dog had been sent home (with Grandma-emergency contact) and they didn't even know he was gone. When I arrived at the airport we gave them a call and actually someone picked up the phone and told them we'd pick up our dog in 20 minutes. They said great see you soon. Got to country paws waited 25 minutes for them to find my dog....they didn't know he was sent home 4 days ago! I expected at least a concerned phone call after. Nothing. Pictures on Facebook only appear if your dog is one of the lucky ones. Usually a lab or big breed. Very disappointing to see this local business that I hoped to support fora long time. read more
