Greeted and farewell from staff was very refreshing since nowadays people are too busy (or just don't care enough) to look up from their phones to say extend a warm welcome. New stuff and antique items around every bend. Prices vary from cheap to quite expensive. Clothing, plants, Hot Wheels, furniture, toys, books (I gravitate to them), handmade soap, and plenty more. I think some of the areas could use a little wipe down or rearranging for a better display. Backyard smelled a little moldy and needed some upkeep. Bring your item to the front to pay. Free parking on the streets and designated lots. read more

This antique shop in old town Orange is quite unique and it's a garden too. Store itself is massive both indoors and outdoors. They do sell some interesting plants here like they advertised outside. But some plants looked pest infested and not growing well. Outdoor plants are easy to get bugs so I spray my outdoor plants in my backyard regularly. The antiques are like any antique stores. Most are old and worn out. I did see very few cute stuffs in fairly good conditions. But hubby doesn't like used things, not one bit. I guess I am not getting anything from any antique stores anytime soon. Still it was fun to check vintage stuffs out even though most things were useless to me! read more

I used to come here often with my family and always found it to be very interesting. There truly is something for everyone. They have individual rooms with a certain theme or items in common. There's also an outdoor area with plants or backyard decor. Lately I feel that there has been a decline in vendors as there seems to be less items than usual. A lot of items were broken or damaged and I know they are antiques and regular wear and tear happens, however I feel that the prices were a bit steep for the conditions. The people that work here are friendly and helpful. Just try to be patient as there's only two people for the entire space and a lot of items need a key to be taken out of their case or a hook to be taken down from the ceiling. Overall I do suggest coming here whether you're looking for something in specific or just browsing the treasures. read more

What a great (not so) little antique store! It's basically a bunch of little stores in one building, each little booth themed in its own unique way. I didn't ask, but I assume they are all different little store owners with one central place to check out. Everything from clothes, to books, lamps, furniture, decorations (which were mainly Halloween as I visited on Labor Day weekend), and kitchenware. They had some jewelry which is locked behind a glass cabinet along with some unique silverware. I could have spent a couple of hours going threw all the old books and records are saw. Since each booth has a different story to tell, you have to look for those types of things in each booth. I didn't buy anything this time (we were in Downtown Orange for the International Food Festival and were there to eat not carry something we bought around), but I want to return before Christmas. I think I could find some fun presents for people. read more

This is our favorite antique shop at the circle in Orange. It is huge, huge huge and even includes an outdoor garden area with a nice selection of plants and wares. Inside, there are 50+ dealers/stations with an eclectic array of vintage housewares, clothes, jewelry, bric-a-brac, toys, you name it. The selection seems to change every visit here so it's fun perusing all the different areas. Service is friendly as well, this is a must stop when visiting Orange. read more

I've been in this shop a few times before with my fiancee and my sister. We've purchased several things. We loved this store until today. We stopped by and looked around as usual. While we were in the back, I saw a Keystone 8mm camera. I picked it up and noticed the handle was missing. But I tested the buttons and opened the film slot. Everything else looked fine. But since the handle was missing, I went to put it back. When I went to place it back, I saw the handle was tucked behind where the camera was when I picked it up. I just screwed it back on and left. We all walked around the rest of the store and started leaving when we did a full round. As we were leaving though, a Caucasian employee behind the register stopped us and told us that "we shouldn't play with antiques because this isn't a toy store." He proceeded to blame us for breaking the handle on the camera. I told him the camera was like that when I picked it up. He said it wasn't and refused to believe me. I literally fixed the camera for him when I found the piece that was already missing. (If you have cameras around that area, you can see it was already broken and I fixed it.) He refused to believe us and told us not to come back if we were going to treat the store like a toy shop. I refrained from cussing him out, but we won't be coming back either way after he said that. Garbage attitude and awful customer service. Pretty sure he's new too as the last time I was there and bought something, he didn't know how to charge a credit card. (And I get that. He's learning.) But to say something like that to an innocent and returning customer is just pathetic. We were in a good mood leaving the store and he just ruined it. read more

I especially enjoy walking to the back to their outdoor area, where they sell a variety of plants. I bought my strawberry plant here. The entire backyard is whimsical, with it's one of a kind fountains, hanging lights, and canopies, etc. It is truly an artistic landscape. Inside you will find a wide variety of items. They have a good selection of indoor and outdoor pieces for your home, most of which are very artistic and will truly add to your home's environment. Saw this store while driving towards Urth cafe next door and was curious to see what they sell. So the minute you walk in, there's going to be a gallery of individual small spaces clustered by section and theme. For example, one section was all about chandeliers and soft lighting. Another section was on country theme, southern living, Christmas decor, cowboy and so many more! The furniture is dated back to the early 19th century but I am sure others are way older. It's just a massive amount of antiques scattered nearly all over the store and almost like an IKEA where you'll have to navigate one section at a time. This is our favorite antique mall in Orange. There's such a beautiful selection of antiques and home décor, and I think the staff is really nice and helpful here. We hadn't been here in awhile. When we came here last week, the store was even better than we remembered. The booths were fairly clean and organized, and we found so many things we liked here. While my son likes the old books, cameras, and typewriters, I love all the home décor items. The were beautiful bed frames, mirrors, and hutches. I even noticed new items, like pillows, cute soaps, and other gift items. The selection is wonderful, and each booth is decorated so well that it makes this antique mall a fun place to shop. Life-long antique collector here and drove up from San Diego this past weekend to check out the store after seeing posts on Instagram. The maskless lady behind the counter proceeded to loudly embarrass and berate me in front of other customers and bark at me that: "We are retail and not an antique store or a flea market. You only asked for discounts at a swap meet. You wouldn't negotiate a price at Target. We have to pay rent." Well honey, everyone has to pay rent and you are far from being a Target. There is rotting, flea-infested furniture sitting outside in your back "garden" and your fake "antiques" are clearly reproductions from India. I don't get bitten by bugs at Target and their products say Made in China. Stores like yours ruin the fun of antiquing for everyone else. You could have just said your prices are firm instead of exhaustively going out of your way to make someone feel bad and stupid for mistakingly assuming your retail establishment was a real antique store. You lost another customer this weekend. I will never be returning. read more

I recently have grown an obsession at looking at antiques, and this store quickly became a favorite. First off, I love the variety of it. You have everything from cute tea sets, to old furniture, to handmade jewelry, to plants, to Halloween stuff. I think the idea of having different vendors set up is so unique, and gives a chance for anyone to share what they have. I love how it's organized, and every space I walked into I felt like I was transported somewhere else. This is a place where you can easily lose track of time, so I suggest going when you don't have anywhere else to be. My only complaint are that prices are very inconsistent. I know it depends on vendor, but most things are reasonably priced whereas some other stuff were tremendously overpriced. But honestly this is slowly becoming my happy place (especially with all of the Halloween stuff), and I can't wait to go see what else I can find. read more

The lady at the counter was so rude and treated me so badly. One was really really nice and the other rude and so dismissive and snobby that I will never walk in there again. It was so bad and unusual that I hope the owners can reassess her because the store has great items. The man working in the store was professional and kind. Store owners please talk to this woman with the blondish/brown hair white middle aged and sour looking who wouldn't get off her phone. She was sitting in the left side of the store behind the counter in the chair if you're inside. The one farthest from the door. This was Thursday afternoon shift. It will affect your business in the long run. One employee can deter people from returning ever again and I wouldn't want this for this store. There was no confrontation and I didn't do anything to deserve this. It didn't seem like an accidental behavior it was very mean. read more

This has to be the most fun Antique shop in the circle. I know, I know your thinking Antiques how fun can they be? Well this is not your ordinary shop. Each vendor has their own unique cubby like space. I love how they transformed rooms within a room. Its almost like each space is its own little room, in a little town. With wooden walls, ceilings, doors and windows accenting everything. Some of these spaces were absolutely breathtaking with a Victorian style feel to it. Beautiful furniture pieces, doilies, lanterns, glassware, ect. Some sections were more recent appealing to the 80s generations. Old records, comics, Xmen VHS, Barbie's, dolls, ect. A few military booths with awesome bomber jackets, hats, bullets, patches, ect. The spaces go on and on and on. Lots of really cool finds here. To think when I was a kid I'd come here and everything was already old. Fast Forward 25 years and the same stuff is really old now. The outside has a beautiful garden with wheelbarrows, wagons, wooden fixtures, ect. Lots of plants, trees, flowers and tidbits on how they grow. Simply beautiful. I can't explain it. But this stop is worth a visit. Especially if you like Vintage type things. So many beautiful things in their own unique places. I am a fan. read more

I've lived in OC my entire life and only discovered Old Towne Orange 2 years ago... I'm more disappointed that I just discovered this lovely place! My friend made me go in because it's her mom's favorite shop and I can see why! It's a collection of different "rooms" within 3 combined building. Each "room" is organized and displayed in a neat and appealing way, not scattered like most antique stores. The place is like a maze, each corner leads to a longer hallway to more "rooms." Also, there's a garden where antique outdoor decor, succulents, herbs (I thinks), and wildflowers are for sale, I really liked the wildflowers since they are hard to come by. You could easily spend 2 hours in this place. Next time, I'll grab some tea before strolling through here. read more

Myself and my husband often find ourselves hunting for antique stores and ended up today at Country Roads Antiques. This is a very unique antique store. The antiques are kind of weird and funky, they do not have much "antique" furniture collection, just the usual vintage decor items. I must say that these decor items are very different from what you usually find in other antique and vintage stores. I am writing this review mainly for their backyard garden. It is indeed very impressive and a must-visit place if you happen to be nearby. They have an interesting collection of rare plants and their garden decor is something that you won't come across in most gardens. They have some unique pansies, poppies, succulents, ferns, herbs and garden decors elements, planters etc. Although most of the reviews I see for this place are for the vintage/antique vendors and their stuff, strolling through their garden was a new and refreshing experience for me and i would totally give 5 stars for this experience any day! read more

Could this place be any more fun? No. Put on your walking shoes and go to this store before you hit up any other shop in Old Orange. With or without a goal, you will find something that you absolutely must have here. Each "room" reflects the personality of its vendor. Some are elaborate displays, while others are more like my grandmother's attic. The outdoor area is also large and well stocked. Try to go early, so you can park. Have fun! read more

I was in your store yesterday when I came across Uncle and Mammy dolls. I was immediately shocked and disgusted. After grappling with the fact that racist caricatures of black people from the Jim Crow Era were being sold, I went over to a store employee and told her I had concerns about two items being sold. I showed her the video that I took of the dolls and explained they are extremely racist and if they could be removed. Her response was they they are "antiques and collectibles, people still buy them." And the only solution she gave me was to write a note to the vendor. The excuse to sell these items on the basis that they can make a $45 dollar profit is insulting to the history and violence these dolls represent. Simply because there is a market for them does not mean that it is okay to sell. I believe this reflects where this store places their value, and its not on acknowledging the history of anti-blackness, dehumanization, violence on black bodies and recognizing these are markers of white supremacy but rather on making a profit off of them because of that very same history. Would you sell the yellow arms bands or the stars from Holocaust victims? Collect them or sell them? Probably not, because the history attached to those items are vile beyond comprehension. These hold the same significance as they were made to dehumanize black folxs and normalize Jim Crow Laws by portraying the narrative that black people are subservient and sub human and the impact of that time is still seen and felt today in the black community and in America. I believe an Antique store would very well know the history. I am disappointed and disgusted by my interaction/experience and with the justification something as racist as this can be sold. I hope you reflect on why you allow these to be sold in your store if you feel you don't align with racism and hate. I believe values and actions must speak to that not just words. There is a market for everything in this world, that is no excuse for holding these items for the intention of profiting off of them as one chooses what they support based on whats important to them. I encourage you to do research done by black folxs on the impact of these caricatures to further understand my disappointment. I would like follow up as to if my note was reviewed by the vendor and their response. read more

I absolutely LOVE this place! I can't help but snap pictures with each corner that I turn. The people who own the stalls and decorate are genius. They really make your mind wander and have a keen skill of creating very interesting displays. I can easily spend an hour here! It's like a treat to come here! The staff are extremely helpful, one in particular I wish I had asked for her name, but I was taken back by how she remembered what I wanted the store to keep an eye out for. Usually others just say they will but she was so lovely and recognized me the second time I went and showed me the recent antique item that just had arrived. hubs and i were next door for tacos and stumbled across this antique shop so decided to head in and was surprise to find the large plethora of treasures at country roads! think antique flea market style, but under one roof, air-conditioned, accessible, with many different "stalls" that seems to all be very organized and themed. i usually get extremely overwhelmed when i go into second hand type vintage stores, but at country roads i had enough breathing room. this place is HUGE, it spans across two storefronts, and even has an outdoor garden section for plants and outdoor decor. i never found any of the prices outrageous. i found many pieces i loved, but didn't quite take them home just yet. have to find the right home for them first... will definitely drop by more often to do some treasure hunting!! read more
