Although I have found some gems here in years past. However, the owner does not convey good customer service or friendliness. Nor a good attitude. There was a frame that fell off the shelf because of how it was poorly displayed. Even though it wasn't my fault, I paid full price for the item's breakage ( without being asked to) and left ample money for the glass repair so there should not have been the attitude. I even bought a small item. This didn't placate her. She was more than rude about an accident that was clearly the vendors fault for poor merchandising and display practices. Maybe she was having a bad day, but I would not ever frequent the shop again because of this persons open hostility. She needs anger management classes.

If you're looking for vintage, you might want to stop here first before you go to some of the other vintage shops in Cleveland, since other resellers get some of their merchandise from here and jack up the price. The hours are a little weird. Pricing can be a little inconsistent, but overall they keep things pretty inexpensive, at least when it comes to the clothes, and they have a lot of sales. Some of the furniture and bric-a-brac looked a little overpriced to me, but I could be wrong. It's a great little shop and I highly recommend stopping by, if only to look around at some really cool stuff and score some complimentary cookies!

Rather, Reincarnation is a carefully and artistically curated near-museum of a shop. I was in awe of the floor-to-ceiling flat-file shelving unit. I seriously would have purchased it if I had space for it. I ended up leaving with some fun trinkets that I'll be gifting for Christmas: a keychain made from an Ohio license plate, a goat's milk cap magnet, and two antique chandelier crystal ornaments for the Christmas tree. According to my friend, this place is always changing (in a good way). They'll rearrange as new pieces come in. I love the setup, as I thought it highlighted the unique pieces perfectly. It became so popular that they opened a storefront in Parma in June. How did I just find it in October?! I'm happy that Vintage Clambake (!) brought me to this store! AMBIANCE: Imagine getting into a Time Machine and traveling to the 80's. That's exactly how this place feels. No other local vintage store has the rooms setup so much to a certain time period. I'm referring specifically to their funky living room area. It's so gorgeous and timeless! Think vibrant, funky, and picture worthy. INVENTORY: Inside the store you'll find multiple rooms - front area with furniture and shelves, living room home goods area, a room to the side with clothing, and back warehouse looking space with a mix of everything. The store has it all - furniture, home goods, accessories, clothing, and decor. The inventory is very organized, some decor is even organized by color. Inventory is generally well priced considering the pristine condition and uniqueness. MY FIND: While I visit many vintage stores, I really only buy true treasures. I found a purse in phenomenal conditions with a built in clock. It was $45 but really I'd probably pay double, it was that good. How amazing is that? I have not found anything more amazing at any other stores. I can't wait to put my book club book in my new purse and show it to the world. I stumbled upon this store after strawberry picking at a local farm. Its pretty huge and somewhat…read moreorganized. All kinds of things. Makes for fun browsing. Housewares, furniture, pictures, decorative items, vinyl records, toys. A little bit of everything. Prices are pretty reasonable. The person who checked me out did a very careful wrapping job on my item, which I appreciated. They also had bargain bins set up outside where everything was a buck. My only complaint: They use mailing labels stuck directly on front of item as price tags. My item has dried glue stuck to the gold leaf that I probably can't remove without damage. Moving to little hang tags on strings that most vintage stores use would help preserve the item. Then again, the price I paid was half than anywhere else and I wasn't buying it as a collector's item anyway, so no biggie. And the label came off another item effortlessly, so it probably depends. If you are worried, just ask to see item without sticker on it so you can inspect it. I'll definitely stop here again, and because of the price points and high inventory, it doesn't affect my rating of this super fun store.

They've got a great selection of stuff - estate jewelry from $5 and up, vintage linens/table cloths, quilts, old toys, framed art, a ton of tea cups/tea pots, clothing, kitchen stuff.....And on and on and on. Prices vary but overall I felt like they were reasonable (unlike in California where I live!). They are located in the basement of an old church, and have an auction every Saturday from 5 pm to 10 pm where you can apparently get terrific deals on furniture, etc. If I lived in Ohio, I would go all the time!

Inside is incredible, two storefronts and a full basement full of an eclectic assortment all scattered about with only a vague kind of organization. Among the broad categories of items were artwork, books, clothing, cowboy boots, decor and just about anything else you could imagine. I was looking for wooden masks since I have a large collection; of course I really didn't want to find anything to buy, I was just shopping. Scattered about the store were quite a few different masks and other carvings. I finally noticed two masks hanging on the wall behind the main counter, a very detailed Balinese mask and a smaller Japanese Tengu Mask. The owner seemed knowledgeable about the masks, which was welcome and a bit surprising. The Tengu Mask just talked to me and the price was affordable, plus it was small enough that I didn't have to do a major redistribution of my collection. After a short negotiation we came to a reasonable price and the Tengu mask is now hanging in my home. A great cool spot to just browse around and see what hits your interest. There are surprises scattered all over, prices seemed reasonable. The owners were friendly and helpful. Stop in and see what happens.

Bob is great. They have a great selection of military books and items, vintage costume jewelry, metal and glass containers, furniture, hats, housewear and ephemera. The prices are really reasonable compared to other antiques shops. The building itself is an antique as well! It's one of Avon's earliest buildings, complete with creaky, wide plank wood floors, curious alcoves and slim passageways.
