You know that little boutique decor place that you are always looking for? Well, this is where you will find it. We ventured to Reincarnation on our Saturday antique outing because it is on a strip of shops along Lorain that seem to only be open for a couple of extremely inconvenient hours each week (don't ask me what they are because it was completely confusing to me... Saturday from 12 - 2 o'clock is pretty much the only time I can guarantee these places will be open). From the moment we opened the door to Reincarnation my wife and I knew we were in love. The shop straddles the line between antiques and repurposed furniture/decor. Repurposing is very popular right now but I can happily say that Reincarnation has done it right! It is a beautifully laid out store with unique pieces of furniture and art. There isn't a ton of stuff in the store but what they do have is very nice and quirky. I did have a minor meltdown when I looked at the poor, destroyed rugs that were being torn apart by feet on the warehouse floor. They would have been quite nice in another life but it is clear that they no longer have any value. The owner and staff are very friendly which is a nice change from the other antique shops on this block. This is a must-visit shop if you are in the area.... and happen to be available during their open hours!

I love this place! The owners recondition and repurpose vintage items. Everything here is unique and in very good condition and the owners are helpful and friendly. Definitely worth checking out!

They need a bigger selection. I was hoping for more variety. Still quality items but I couldn't find the style I was looking for.

I visited this antique shop on Madison Ave. on Saturday, 22 October 2023. I found out about them…read morethrough Yelp because I was invited by Yelp to visit the store. I ended up purchasing an item; hence, the reason I am writing this review. WHAT (type of store) -- Magically Found is a quirky shop filled with random items such as candles, cards, tea cups, etc. The owner was super friendly during my visit. She explained that this shop has what a grandmother living in an English cottage would keep at her house. ITEMS -- The owner explained this to be a witchy store hence the name "Magic" is in the store name. I am not into witch things neither do I believe in that but the store has many other items to buy. They sell matches, candles, candle stick holders, tea cups, and other random items. I bought a little square container ($9) that has a strawberry shaped top/cover. It can be used for anything such as to put earrings in or even cubed sugar. I still haven't decided what I'll use mine for but it is in my kitchen for now. I never knew this store existed in Lakewood but I'm glad to have stopped by. If you like antique or older items then stop on inside and support this small, local business. **** - 80/150 total reviews in 2023 - 631 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 9 November 2023

Magically Found is one of my favorite new shops of 2023. I could just live in here. The owner,…read moreRebecca, is absolutely amazing. I've now shopped here multiple times and am always impressed by the thoughtful selections she so expertly curates. Whether you need a gift, want to buy yourself something, or just want your vibrations raised, this is the place to go. The store is just a feast for your eyes. It has a strong Practical Magic flare to it (and you may even hear its magical soundtrack playing). Dried herbs and flowers hang from the ceiling, taper candles are nestled into the most unsuspecting corners, and vintage wares are everywhere to be discovered. Rebecca self-describes her shop as "Eclectic Granny Decor, Cottage Witch Vibes" according to Instagram. As I type this, I have a taper candle made with dried flowers burning inside of a vintage owl holder. I love this shop and could truly buy everything in here. Rebecca is so creative and makes a number of the store products and is always putting together speciality boxes (think Taylor Swift themed, etc.). Come and visit this enchanting store when you really have the time to wade through it and soak it all in. I promise you'll fall in love! Easy metered parking is outside.

In its current state, Flower Child is walking into a retro basement that has decades of treasure! LAYOUT/INVENTORY: The store has two levels with multiple rooms of treasure. Both levels have similar merchandise - home goods, kitchen tools, some furniture, abundance of accessories, clothing, vinyls, and some interesting international decor. Just when you think you ran out of rooms, there are more rooms of treasure to browse. I especially loved the basement. Every room is a treasure hunt! If you wear petite sizes, this is a treasure trove of vintage clothing. You'll find tees, dresses, sweaters, and pants. The clothing is casual and functional. Check out all the clothing rooms on the main level and basement. VALUE: The discounts on merchandise of 70% is a great value. However, the initial prices are quite high considering the quality. Some of the clothing and items are very well loved. I don't see myself paying full prices for the items to be extremely honest. SERVICE: The staff was very nice to customers during checkout. There was a lot of excitement about the upcoming store move. They staff was always very busy. Personally, I wanted to ask about the pricing for a folk pin I was eyeing. There was no one to ask so I eventually gave up. I'm sure the service is more attentive during the regular days. PARKING: I was surprised to find a pretty large parking lot at the back of the building considering the location is in Lakewood. Amazing if you're carrying home a lot of treasure. I would recommend Flower Child to guests who enjoy digging for treasure. You definitely need maybe an hour to focus on each room without getting overwhelmed. I look forward to checking out the layout of a new store!

I definitely didn't know about this store until it was a stop on the Lakewood Chocolate Walk map. I enjoyed my first visit. AMBIANCE: The store is a perfect memory of the department stores mostly long gone. The store is gorgeously staged and has perfectly positioned lighting. The store lives in its own building with angel statues and pretty bushes at the entrance. It's like entering a mini villa. INVENTORY: The inventory is quite diverse. You'll find bedding/linens, kitchenware, baptism white dresses, and seasonal decor. My favorites are the store? Decadent head statues doubling as planters. If you're shopping for seasonal inventory, you'll find Halloween and Christmas decor here. There are also a lot of seasonal candles like apple scented ones. All Halloween decor was 75% at the time of my visit. Prices are quite high for most items, think ritzy department store levels. SERVICE: Service was friendly. We asked merchandise questions (about planters) and they were thoughtfully answered. The owner and employees were engaging with all customers. Personally, I did not find anything at the store that speaks to me. During next visit I hope to check out the linen inventory. I'm a sheets snob and it feels like the space would provide me with just what I need. I recommend this space to anyone redecorating or entertaining.

The challenge, if you are new to shopping the store, is that there are a few things you will want to know. 1) Most of the items in inventory come with some minor cosmetic issues. That is why the cost is often half the price of going to Arhaus. 2) They do not offer delivery, so you will need to arrange pickup on your own. 3) Additional sales are ran often and you can score up to an additional 30% off the already reduced prices. I think that sometimes people give this place a bad rap because they go once and they don't see much inventory, or they see items that are damaged. I was guilty of this after the first time I went. I then learned that this is a store you need to go to often as they are always getting in new inventory. Once I started going more frequently, I actually enjoyed the store much more. Not to mention, I found some great deals. Will what you buy from this store be perfect, probably not. Will the items you buy come at a fantastic price, and you will most likely be the only one that knows there is a cosmetic issue, probably. All in all, it's worth it!
