A $20 gift that friends spent good money on! When a shop changes owners I would think a list of outstanding certificates would be in a data base and transferred in the sale of shop! Shop did not change name! I spent over $40 this day! I will NOT buy gift certificates again! I will not shop this quilt shop again! You cannot cancel backordered orders for refund, you will only get credit. I attempted to cancel the backordered order within 24hours and had no exception or even consideration. I would not recommend using this store for replacement parts. Consider other sewing machine part stores if you want a better customer experience and reasonable cancellation/refund policies. When attempting to work with their team to resolve the issue, they not only were unwilling to understand my situation, but also just blamed me for not paying attention that the products were on backorder status, even though their website barely gives noticeable notice/warning, especially considering their policy on backordered orders.
