I chose this venue for my sister's baby shower, and unfortunately, our experience was very…read moredisappointing. When booking, we discussed renting the downstairs space because we had elderly and handicapped guests who could not easily access stairs. Based on the listing photos and our text conversation with the owner, we understood we were renting a different area than what we actually received. When we arrived, both my sister and I immediately realized the space was not what we had expected. The area we were given was the entryway/lobby area, not what we believed we had reserved based on the listing and our communications. When we expressed our concerns, the owner initially acknowledged there had been a misunderstanding regarding the space and even discussed refunding us before the event. However, with guests already traveling and arriving--including family from out of state--and less than two hours before the baby shower, canceling simply was not a realistic option. We chose to continue because we wanted my sister to have her baby shower, not because the issues had been resolved. Unfortunately, the room itself was only part of the problem. Our contract allowed us access before the event so we could decorate. However, when we arrived, the venue was still being cleaned. We were unable to begin decorating on time because the owners were still cleaning the rented space. They remained in the venue through the beginning of our event, further delaying setup and making preparations much more stressful than they should have been. The building was also very warm. The air conditioning had not been running before we arrived, and despite being turned on later, the room never cooled below 77°F during the event. With a room full of guests, it was noticeably uncomfortable. After the event, I reached out in hopes of finding a reasonable resolution. Rather than addressing my concerns about the delayed access, the venue not being event-ready, or the temperature, the conversation focused almost entirely on the room selection. The owner also listed several "upgrades" as compensation, including setting up tables and chairs, upgraded chairs, and access to a small private room typically used as a bridal suite. However, none of those were services we requested, and they did not address the actual issues we experienced. In fact, we had to rearrange the tables ourselves because the setup interfered with decorating. Guests began arriving while the owners were still on-site finishing the cleaning, which meant we never had the uninterrupted setup time we had reserved. What was especially frustrating was the inconsistency in communication. Initially, the owner acknowledged there had been a misunderstanding regarding the space. Later, she denied there had been any misunderstanding at all and instead stated it was entirely our fault. She also repeatedly claimed we had been offered an opportunity to tour the venue before booking, but after reviewing our text messages, I could not find any such offer before the event. This review is not because I wanted a larger room for a lower price. It is because I expected the venue I rented to be accurately represented, clean, ready at the agreed-upon time, and reasonably comfortable for my guests. Those expectations were not met. The baby shower itself turned out beautifully because our family worked hard to make the best of the situation, but the venue created unnecessary stress on what should have been a special day. I hope this feedback encourages improvements in communication, clearer descriptions of the rental spaces, and ensuring venues are completely cleaned and ready before renters arrive.

Finally, I was invited to a holiday celebration for a nonprofit that supports entrepreneurs. It is located a couple blocks north of 244. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, you can only see a generic metal building. Once inside though, it totally blew me away. It's such a spacious and elegant space, perfect for weddings or other special occasions. The room setup is versatile since there's so many options. For this event, it was great that there were tasting tables located all throughout the space because it made it feel full despite however many people there were. I believe the capacity is 200-230. Besides the main room, there's an upstairs area where I believe the dj was setup. They have vanity rooms, lighting, drapes, chairs, tables, etc. Any rentals must come from PartyPro. There's also a huge patio, making indoor/outdoor options available. There's a fully equipped kitchen but they allow outside vendors, requiring a specific insurance. If you want alcohol, they require security. In terms of pricing, it's $1,500 during the week and $2,500 on weekends. I wish they had different pricing for hours needed. Overall, a great venue option! Their staff speaks Spanish as well.

I've been to three or four events catered by the new incarnation of Just Catering now (the Just…read moreCatering post Orr's departure). One is better off choosing any other option available. The odds of that random option being worse than this option are pretty low. This place has never provided a substantial vegan option. The food provided is mediocre at best and our meaty friends report the same. Before Orr left, we'd used this place several times, they even catered our (all vegan except for the chicken for our meaty friends/family) wedding. It was great, we'd always been extremely happy with our experiences before Orr left. Since then, we've had only bad experiences. This most recent time the servers tried to serve vegetarians soup with chicken stock and once they were explained that wasn't vegetarian, they tried to serve it to vegans (the soup also had egg in it, just FYI). The folks serving on the line didn't know if the things they were serving were vegetarian, vegan or really anything about the ingredients. We had to ask, then demand, then get someone who was *in charge* of the event to speak with someone from Just Catering to get the answers to our questions. There were lots of glares and outright hostility toward those with dietary restrictions during these exchanges, making the whole experience a whole lot more unpleasant than it needed to be. All of these vegan hassles are despite communicating to them before hand that vegans, vegetarians, etc., would be present and need to be fed. They were told how many of each they'd need to feed as well. It's not just the food that is subpar, the service is abysmal. Do not use these folks.

It's located in a beautifully renovated retail space and opened mid-April, 2026. This business was formerly known as Magpie and was in downtown Tulsa. It was rebranded as Margaret Pierce and moved to its new location on S. Peoria Ave. The transformation from what the new space now looks like compared to its former state is astounding. There are before pictures in the store that show the transformation. An entire wall on the right side of the store displays retail items. A huge assortment of beautiful place settings awaits you. In the middle of the store are the items that can be rented for your event, whether it be a wedding reception, anniversary party, or just any sort of event where you would need glassware, place settings and even decorations or gift items.

I spent $11,022.11 and did not expect it to be like this. As you can see from my attached receipt, I rented 12 window walls and 2 solid walls but did not receive what I paid for. Tent and walls were scheduled to be set up on Wednesday for my Wedding on Saturday. On Wednesday, tent was put up but no walls and they were about to leave without letting me know. I had to stop them at my gate and asked why there are no walls. I was told that they have no window walls and that they need to order them and it may not get here until Friday. KEEP in mind, my wedding is on Saturday. They ended up putting crusty solid walls up and told me that they'll come back on Friday to put up the window walls when it arrives. On Friday, I did not get any update whatsoever. So I called Terri, I was told that the window walls they ordered has not arrived yet. Terri said that they'll come out on Saturday morning to set up the walls. HOW IN THE WORLD will they be trying to put up walls the day of my event?? Told Terri it is not possible Saturday and I will not have them come out fixing to intervene my event. So they ended up coming on Friday and put up UNMATCHING shade colors of 1/2 soild &1/2 window walls. I rented walls for a reason! To prevent dust and wind from going inside too much. And for Partypro to have no walls from having to constantly taking the walls up and down it was very irritating. This created lots of dust inside the tent that got everywhere on the silverware's, decorations & Etc. It's unprofessional to offer something that they don't have! The dance floor I rented was not installed correctly and was a hazard (I've attached a photo). They saw it but were too lazy to fix it. Keep in mind, I paid for them to install this. When my sister brought it up to their attention one of employee said they we will have to pay for them to fix it. How ridiculous is this?

The prices and pictures of floral arrangements were very clear and it definitely lived up to everything. My mom loved it and so did I. It is costly but for a smile on my mom was priceless. Here we are on Tues (they were delivered Sat) and several have already died and the rose petals are curled. I changed the water the next day because it was already cloudy which usually happens when the flowers have been sitting in there a while, not a couple of days. Shame on you all for sending out such a pitiful arrangement which I'm sure was well over $100! Just get your flowers from Trader Joe's!
