The one time I did have an issue with the oldest vehicle I purchased, Jacobsen stood behind it and I had no issue getting it fixed under extended insurance I took out on it. My experience with Auto Authority was shady. Here's the story…read more I dropped my Honda Fit off to repair the trunk latch. They charged $75 to inspect it and told me it would be $560 to repair it for (parts and labor) as they said BOTH the latch and actuator were broken. It sounded like too much so I had them put it back together so I could ask for a second opinion. They put the original parts back together and it works flawlessly. Nothing was broken, the wiring must have been loose and they were trying to shake me down for an extra $500 bucks. There's more shadiness to the story but this is the jist. I wouldn't trust these guys if I were you.
