Dead battery; they showed up and replaced it in short time…read more Dead again within a week; they showed up again in short time and told me that their first guy put in the wrong battery; they replaced it with the correct battery. Battery quickly went dead; they told me I had to take it to dealer so the car's computer could be reprogrammed - something they should have the first two times. So I took it to Bergstrom and had it programmed. 10 months later, battery dead AGAIN (4th time!!!). Went straight to the dealer this time; they kept the car several days to be extensively checked; car was OK (charging function and no parasitic current drains). Simply, the battery they put in was no good so it was replaced by the dealer. I then asked Fox City Towing to honor NAPA's battery warranty. I was told: 1. Warranty no longer applies to the second battery they put in even though it had to be put in because they screwed up on the first battery 2. Warranty no longer applies because the dealer now replaced it and not Fox Cities Towing - insane after I was stranded 4 times because of their ineptitude and then a bad battery whose warranty they will not help me with. I am in my late '60's and have had plenty of bad cars and batteries in my life. This battery problem takes the prize for the number of times I was stranded by their service. The final straw and thus this review - I rarely waste time complaining - was the gall to tell me that I should have come straight to them rather then the dealer. Just like a kid who can't learn not to touch a hot stove after being burned 3 times. AAA is willing to help me now with the battery warranty claim which, I learned, is how these things are handled. Just don't blame your customer when they've done nothing wrong especially when your ineptitude caused me a lot of grief.

I called AAA and she contacted them and told me they would call me right away. 10 minutes later I called AAA back and canceled the towing service. Fox Cities Towing does one thing good. I brought my wife's relatively new Hyundai Palisade to Dan, with a moderate dent on the side panel. I believe I paid out of pocket for that and Dan was very reasonable compared to other shops that I had received quotes from and I was more than satisfied with the end product. Recently, I had the misfortune of damaging the rear body quarter panel on a brand new 2021 Chevy Silverado. Initially my insurance company wanted to just mud it and paint over it and Dan fought on my behalf and told them that it is a brand new truck and that would just flat out look crappy. The insurance company changed their mind and Dan ended up doing the work and I picked the truck up today and it still looks brand new! So here is the last thing I will say to show you all what sets Dan and Gracy's auto body apart from everyone else. In the week that it took for Dan to order the new part for my truck, I scraped against something else causing what looked like significant damage to the other side of the truck.
