When the new company came, they noted that our electric box that was in the tank for the wiring of our pump and alarm system had not had a waterproof box and the box itself was completely full of water. The pump and Alarm were also put on the same circuit which caused an issue. The pump tripped at some point and due to the alarm being on the same circuit the alarm also tripped so we had no idea our tank was full when the company came. The pump and alarm should have been on a separate circuit so that this issue did not occur. I called rotterdqm septic first thing when I was told this information to see if they could help, they did not return my call until 7pm. Due to needing To make a decision we had the other company fix the issue that had occurred. rotterdam septic said they would have helped if I had let them come but due to the company not answering the phone or calling back in timely fashion we had to pay thousands of dollars to get this fixed. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The truck did not slow down or brake to make a right turn on Palmer Road, so much so that the truck had to come into my lane to negotiate the turn and straight at me. I attempted to call the business to inform someone, but the phone number rings to the cell phone of the driver, who is also the owner. When I explained why I as calling I was met with an irate tone "YEAH I JUST PASSED YOU, YOU HAD PLENTY OF ROOM". This where a simple "hey, I'm sorry, I just got some bad news and took that corner too fast, my apologies" would have had me saying "hey no sweat, all good". But instead, like 10 years before, the first reaction was to dig his heals in and insist nothing was done wrong.

Knowledgeable, competent and reliable…read more I first started using Mulyca Septic when I needed a chimney installed on my septic tank. The company I regularly used for pump outs was too busy/not interested. I called Mulyca, they came out, installed the chimney, pumped me down and charged a reasonable price. I've used them ever since. Usually I have my system pumped in the spring or fall. This year, in the height of the dry weather, they noticed my grass was dying past what I thought was the end of the tank. They suggested I might have a graywater tank that i didn't know about, and since the system is 13 years old, recommended that I should have it also pumped. We dug up the dry grass, and sure enough, there was a chamber there that I didn't know about, and it was getting solids built up. Pumping this out probably will extend the life of the system, especially now that I am aware of a maintenance requirement. They pumped out the graywater chamber as well in a visit that ended up lasting 2 hours (locating, then freeing up the chamber lid which was stubborn, having been in place for 13 years). They only charged me the normal price for a pump out. All of this on a Saturday morning. I'm a consulting engineer, so when it comes to recognizing competence in building mechanical systems, I know what to look for. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a septic service company.
