The owner of Spa Septic retired, and his business was merged into Septic & Sewer Solutions recently. We used them for service at my family's home. They called in advance reminding us that a septic cleaning was due. We requested a first call on the selected day, and they promised to arrive between 8 and 10am. They arrived at 8:10am, service was done by 8:50, and cleanup and payment was complete by 9:00. Service was friendly, professional, and efficient, and the price was reasonable. The gentleman that was here ,was very knowledgeable about all that was septic. He even took pictures of the baffles on the inside of the tank to show me that all was well with it. He was respectful and very polite. He was on time and did a very good job placing the dirt back on the tank. I called Spa for a pump out and during the operation and inspection Jeff found the baffle to be missing from the tank. The baffle holds the solids in the tank and allows fluids to flow to the leech field, this issue caused the pipes in the field to be compacted and fluids were not escaping from the tank. Jeff gave me a price for a new field and started work the next week. In 2 days the project was done as promised. Jeff left my yard graded properly, seeded and he put hay down to promote seed growth. He sent me several texts during the job to keep me updated and I highly recommend Spa Septic! read more

Bought a new house that had a broken septic tank lid (knew about it prior to buying). Called company that did the initial install twice and they never called me back for an appointment. Called Spa Septic and Jeff was there an hour later to pump the tank, then came back the following morning to fix the lid after getting the parts on the fly. This company provided the septic inspection for the buyers for our house. All they did was empty the septic tank they did not locate the leach field, they did not dig up the distribution box, they did NOT do a thorough inspection. Instead they failed the inspection and in an extremely vague report told the buyers it would likely need an EXPENSIVE raised system. The buyers backed out. When my husband called to discuss the thoroughness of the inspection he got into a yelling match with a "so-called" professional who hung up on him. He was told that digging up the distribution box is part of the inspection but that was NOT done at our house. Even though we didn't choose them for the services, we're stuck with a black mark on our house because of their shoddy inspection. Cheapest isn't always the best... read more

I bought a foreclosure without testing the septic and was horrified when I flooded the downstairs as soon as I hooked up the water. I would NOT recommend this company. They made a terrible mess in my yard and left the job without completing it, leaving sewage, debris and other damage behind. The owner refuses to stand behind his work and is unprofessional to deal with. The damage caused by thier services almost equaled the cost of the installation of my new septic system. the proposed 3 day job took 4 months to start and was never completed.
