I have awesome drivers who come to my door to get me. They wear masks. They are unfailingly polite and make sure I'm comfortable and ask if I need any stops other than the one I scheduled. They obey traffic rules and drive safely but at speed... no insufferably slow "will I ever get there@ or scarily fast tailgating "OMG I'm gonna die" going on with this company. They are grateful for the good tips I give them and I wish more people would tip better if they're able to. They more than deserve it... these drivers are, at this time, so busy that they barely have time to eat or take a bathroom break... literally. They are "booked out the wazoo" and it's best to call a day in advance to secure a spot... or earlier if possible, and that's no joke. I have to give them HUGE PROPS for my ride on Tuesday with only a couple of hours notice... this was a major blessing. I had a pain clinic appointment at 7:30 am in Murfreesboro... about a 28 mile trip. Had a ride with a friend hooked up, but guess who got sick two days before? Yep! Sooooo... as I normally book a ride through my medical insurance, which requires THREE business days notice, I was in a quandary. Do I call MTS Taxi or do I call my insurance company to intervene? No brainer! I call my Medicare provider and get a lovely gentleman named Bobby on the line who then sets up a call with TN Carriers, who makes the appointments with medical ride services. The lady with TN Carriers was very helpful and gave me a "reservation number" which is NOT a guarantee of a ride. When I had not received a call by 8 pm the night before my appointment, I knew I had no ride. At 4 am the day of the appointment, I called TN Carriers to tell them that and was told "they were working on it"... to which I had to tell them it was an exercise in futility as from NUMEROUS times in the past, I know this meant I HAD NO RIDE. She then said they would call a cab "just before my appointment" and I had to tell her that wouldn't work either for the reasons stated above. She said they had no idea... and I told her she had better inform the others as this is how it is for BOTH situations. Sheesh... how many have been hurt by inadequate education there? Anyway... at 4:30 am I called MTS Taxi and got the owner's daughter on dispatch. Told her needed to be in Murfreesboro at the pain clinic at 7:30 am and she said they had been booked solid for days... but hold on as it was me (bless them). They know I'm a cancer patient, and she lost her aunt (dad's sister) to cancer not long ago. When she got back on the phone she asked if I could be ready at 5:45 am and I said ABSOLUTELY even if I stand outside the clinic in 34 degree weather because I have to be there. (The stupid clinic already screwed up and made my appointment the day AFTER my meds ran out, wouldn't do a video visit unless I had COVID, wouldn't work me in on an earlier date.) She said it was $45 one way, so $90 round trip... I said it's gotta be done, and I have an emergency cash stash so we are good to go! I head outside at 5:45 and there's a Cadillac crossover waiting as the driver is about to get out... talk about riding in style! Yowza!!! Turns out the owner himself has come to get me... Glen Mullins! To make this long story short, he got me there... WAITED THE ENTIRE TIME so I wouldn't be out in the cold or have to wait for someone to come back to get me... AND didn't charge me for the pharmacy stop as IT WAS ON THE WAY HOME! OMG, is this man an ANGEL or what?!? He's truly a blessing!!! Now change the name on this listing as that entity doesn't exist and this one DOES!!!

Notice the place is named Clearwater Cove RV Resort... not the resort it was prior to new ownership. Nothing but unkept promises.

They allowed us to use the airport car overnight to make it to our hotel and get back in the morning. They didn't have a hangar available, but they were happy to help us plug in the engines. Terminal was nice and modern. The lobby was gorgeous, and they have a separate Pilot's Lounge and Flight Planning office. There's a computer and phone for use for flight planning. They have women's and men's bathrooms as well as a single unisex bathroom that includes a shower for freshening up if need be. Everybody was very nice there, and we would definitely come back.
