I bought my All-Clad pots and pans set there and was on the fence between the regular stainless or the copper core (much more expensive) sets. They were honest, telling me how both sets work in their homes, and I ended up getting the regular stainless. They carry all sorts of fine gifts: Waterford crystal, interesting home decor, beautful art pieces, Fiestaware, soaps, 12 Ranch Wines, etc. The upscale clothing store Pearl closed when the economy dived, but instead of losing the famous brands, the owner relocated a small amount of the merchandise to M'Bellish's upstairs loft. They carry Micheal Stars, Weston Wear, Three Dots, Twisted Heart, Joe's Jeans, and many more great brands. Until Pearl reopens I can be perfectly happy finding a few great pieces there! M'Bellish also supports local businesses and is a warm, welcome stopping spot for events such as Third Thursday and the Snowflake Festival. They often have cookies and hot cider or wine tasting, cheese, and crackers, and showcase local artists as well.

Today when I went to Kixx, I was excited to be looking for an outfit to wear to a family wedding . My friend and I were not welcomed or apparently noticed when we entered. The only other costumer in the store was receiving stellar customer service - attention, praise and enthusiasm - from all three store employees. I was there for over 30 minutes. During that time, I was essentially left to my own devices to search out and try on clothing options. I received no assistance unless I asked a specific question. I felt disregarded. I did eventually find a blouse and jacket that I really liked. However, I did have to pause and give serious consideration as to whether I wanted to spend my money where I was clearly not appreciated as a customer. I decided to go ahead with my $200 purchase, but did not feel at all good about it. What was intended to be a fun shopping experience ended as a disappointment. I will not return to Kixx and would not recommend them to anyone.

From my perspective, Earthly Goods is a very attractive store that consists of a main floor and 2 mezzanine areas. There were also a couple of nice "male seats" available along with reading material. Gayle liked the selection, along with many of the styles and how they looked on her. However, she was not quite ready to "pull the trigger" on any of her choices. Big Mistake. Big. Huge. I have to go shopping now." I also had a two year old in tow. The bathroom policy is the stores, I think, and not the salespersons. I have tried to supporth this local business even though many people I know will not shop there because of the salespeoples snarky and condescending attitudes towards people they think are "tourists". I will not be shopping there anymore. Everything there can be found online. I think many people will follow my lead based on the huge response the post above received on Facebook.
