I cant tell you how annoyed I am to find out from my local news why my garbage has been sitting for so long. Weve had CD for a little over a year and this is not the first, probably the 7th or 8th time we wondered were the pick up was. However 2 weeks is horrifying. I see they claim an email was sent to all their customers? Well I never got one. Funny, with all the issues they have they never miss taking my payment like they miss taking my trash! To the one possitive reviewer seriously??? Do you think we dont assume your from the "struggling family buisness"?? Noone leaves bad reviews to put a place out of buisness, they do that to themselves. I dont have to appreciate a service Im paying for when their not giving me what Im paying for. County Disposal - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me

We (and the rest of the county) had no trash pickup for two weeks, and were not given any notice about the "maintenance" issues/resulting disruption of service. Any attempt to call them last week resulted in either a busy signal or rambling voice message stating that they pulled all of their trucks to work on a maintenance issue but would resume service today. There are no trucks on the road today, their voice message is gone, and their website is scrubbed of any address information. We are canceling our service (if we can ever get a hold of anyone), and do not recommend that anyone waste their money on such a company. read more

We gave it a full year to reach total disappointment. It wasn't just that they rarely collect the trash on the day that they are supposed to. They "skipped" us on over 7 days as the year went on. Now you may be thinking, "Well, maybe it was a holiday..." Well maybe not since our pickup day was Wednesday. No holidays on Wednesday. The clincher was that even though they had the bucket grabber there were times when the crew got out of the truck. Went through the trash and rejected bags they didn't approve of-like partial bag of what happens when you transplant a ton of house plants. Currently in a situation where I have cancelled service and moved on to another trash company due to lack of service for almost 3 weeks in a row. The trouble is that they won't answer their phone, so I have had to email them the cancellation (better to have a paper trail I suppose). Unfortunately, they have not responded to my email, or follow up, and will not retrieve the can from my driveway. We have even left a note on it with the cancellation date and still nothing. At this point, it's been over 2 weeks since I sent my initial cancellation email and have still had no luck. I'm not even concerned with the refund as I was in my last month of service. We chose CD bc they were super customer oriented...at first. In the 7 months we've been with them, our trash has been neglected more than it was picked up. We have used this "service" ever since moving to Murfreesboro (county) last year. We have had almost constant problems with late or missed pickup since we started using them. They hired a new manager a few months ago, and things were good and consistent for a short while, but last week they were a few days late, and this week they are now 5 days late. Over the three years I have used them, they have had issues. Every 3-4 months they are late a couple days or miss a week due to personnel or truck issues. Now, they have missed two weeks because of truck issues. They have put phone straight to a recording with no voice mail. The worst. Not only do they run late because of holidays/inclement weather, they just wait until the normal pick-up day, even if it's 5-6 days later, rather than getting out as soon as possible. And when you call to find out why they haven't come under normal circumstances, you hear about how they can't keep drivers or their truck broke down. It's always something. This is honestly the worst "family ran" business I have ever encountered. We were with them for only 9-10 months and were constantly on the phone with them-more than anyone I pay to do a service for me should be. I gladly paid the $30 fee for canceling before my first year so I didn't have to deal with them ever again. Although this was 2 weeks ago that I paid for them to go away-the can is still on my property. Many times they wouldn't come on the original pick up day and often times they simply wouldn't pick up our trash. We would then call and no one would EVER answer. Don't bother leaving a voicemail because they won't call you back. When we would finally get on the phone with someone the service was terrible. There is one woman in particular that we always had to end up talking to. She was rude, hateful, and acted like she was above us (although she's taking calls at a family ran trash company). Funny Trent- you would take time out of your day to come and leave a "positive" review during a time where many, many customers are unhappy. That doesn't look suspicous at all.. Family business or not, my fathers owned a business his whole life. So don't try and tug at our heart strings with your sob story. The way this has been handled is DOWN right unprofessional. Myself including many others have gotten 0 information as to why trucks haven't been picking up, its been weeks. It doesn't take a business owner to realize this is extremely unprofessional. This is no way to conduct business. If they can't afford to carry out business then unfortunately it's time to let it go. I won't apologize for lacking sympathy because it's not their funds I care about, its the services I'm paying for, regardless to how "small" those may seem. If I'm paying roughly 52$ every three months and they're not carrying out they're services and leaving customers in the dark, they should lose business and rightfully so. Not to mention I can't understand a single word the elderly woman on the automated answering machine is even saying!! 99% of the time it beeps like the line has been disconnected. I called to cancel my service last week and still have not heard back. My trash hasn't been picked up in 3 weeks, can has been at the road the entire 3 weeks!When I called back today since I was never responded to last week when I called and left message I was told the total to prorate me since they say I am late on my bill that was due Aug 1 (remember I called last week to cancel) that I owed almost $60. Keep in mind 3 months of service is only $51. I was told since we were not customers for at least a year that they were going to charge $30 to come get the can... Ummm you didn't charge me to deliver it, you haven't picked my trash up in 3 weeks and never contacted me after I left a message that I wanted to cancel my service!! I'm just another customer that has paid for over 2 years with this company that can report over 2 weeks of no trash pick up. We had no communication and the only reason I know what's going on now is because I read the other reviews. I have been calling for weeks to get nothing but a busy signal. I now have flies all over my house and even found maggots once, since in now have an overflowing can and nowhere to put the rest. I will be reporting them because this is just insane. The lack of communication RIGHT AFTER i pay them, along with the unsanitary conditions we all now must deal with is not acceptable. I've had "County Dispisal" for a few years now. Over the last year it's been horrific. They come whenever they want, very rarely on time, and some days (not including the holidays) they don't come for a few days. They had the nerve to put a note on our can a few months ago saying not to "overfill" the can. But how am I not going to overfill it when they refuse to come on time?? I'm not going to stack my garbage out on the back porch waiting for them to get there! If it only happened a couple times due to weather or (as they say on their website) "Acts of God", I would completely understand. But these were perfect beautiful days and they simply didn't show up - numerous times. This all started happening after they ran my mailbox over with their truck and had to replace it. Then this Friday they placed a note on our can stating they are canceling service in our area due to lack of interest - the very same day they put the note on it... Wow, no kidding!! Anyone who has them out here hates them because of this kind of stuff! So we aren't allowed to use their can in the meantime (so UNPROFESSIONAL!!!) and we have to let it sit out there at the end of our driveway for up to 7 days while we wait for them to leisurely come around and pick it up! Yeah... That's not happening! So I wrote them an email, no cursing of bad words, but definitely upset, and told them exactly everything I've just said along with, get your can off my property today (i.e., this Monday). They don't have the right to cancel service with zero warning and then "store" their can at the end of my driveway until they decide they have time to get it! THEN... THEN... Little miss "Janie" called me and left a voicemail on my phone wanting to speak to be about the email. So I called her back and she proceeded to admonish me for sending "her" a complaint about it! I told her to send it to her boss! But since they are a family owned business, she is probably the wife of someone. She couldn't imagine why I was so upset and wrote her an email about it. She couldn't fathom me being angry about their service. I guess they need some customer service training, because they are all so very unprofessional. And instead of apologizing, she actually tried to make me feel like I was out of line for the complaint! So I told her the same thing on the phone that I told her in the email. They have until tonight to get their can off my property. After tonight, it goes into the street. I have the physical note they gave us stating they are no longer servicing us as of last Friday, so that can is no longer my responsibility! Tomorrow morning it sits in the street, and whatever happens to it is on them! She tried to argue with me, again, so I cut her off and finally use a couple cuss words that told her to get her $@%#* can off my $&@%#* property TODAY. Then hung up on her. I still can't wrap my mind around her calling to tell me how wrong I am for complaining to them!!! Lmao! Wow! When you get customer complaints, you listen to the complaint and try to make it right. Apologize for what went wrong and calm the customer down if they become irate. I've been in customer service all my life. Telling the customer they are wrong for the complaint and how it "offended you" is NOT the way to get things accomplished. This s why they have such a low star rating, and why they don't have anyone in our area that are interested in their service. They won't be in business much longer if this is the way they handle their sustainers. What a crock of a company they have. Smh read more

I had the exact same issues as the other person had! Rarely picked up on the day supposed too, been forgotten a few times as well, trashed pick up at 930PM!! And then when I cancelled- they picked up my can- before the date set and dumped all the trash on my sidewalk. I do not recommend. read more

I have had this service for a month. I paid for 4 months in advance. I was told they would deliver the can in 7 -10 days. First week it was picked up for 2 days. 2nd week it wasn't picked up at all! I called the office for a week, and no matter what time of the day I got a recording saying due to unforeseen delays please leave you can out for pick up. I finally got someone on the phone and she told me they would pick it up the next week and I would have my tote delivered over the weekend. I called yesterday and she said she would check and call me back. I called today to ask about it and was told. Oh my boss decided to not service your area anymore. The decision was made at the beginning of the week and the lady yesterday didn't bother to tell me. This is a shady business, I would avoid. Looking at the other reviews that were told not enough business. 50% of the house in the neighborhood use them and I have seen there cans every where in the area. Now I have to get my money back. I've had trash pick up service through County Disposal for just a little over a year now. It started out fine but the last several months service has practically disappeared. They may come get your trash once every three weeks but that is not guaranteed. You call their phone and no one ever picks up. It just sends you straight to voicemail that no one will ever return. This is one of the most unprofessional businesses I've ever dealt with. They deserve to go out of business at this point. They have failed at handling everything. After 2 weeks of no service, now we get a note on our trash can stating that this is their last pick up and to have the can empty. The reason given for terminating service was that there a "lack of interest in our area". Interesting as every house on our street uses their service along with numerous other homes in the area. Extremely poor service, you call the phone number and all you get is a voice mail that does not allow you to leave a message. Finally, they hardly ever pick up the trash on assigned days.
