He is totally focused on what you say and answers questions in clear terms. Dr. Hilty is not the least bit standoffish, and a conversation with him is enjoyable. Dana, his nurse/technician, is also a pleasure to deal with. Both have a good sense of humor -- kind of useful in the health care arena these day. If you get a blood test or send him anything, he calls you the day he receives it to discuss the results or to confirm receipt. No guessing about "did he get it?" First time I've ever had a doctor take that approach. Luckily, I am pretty healthy, and as far as I can tell, Dr. Hilty wants me to stay that way.
