It's an Asian (Chinese) super market with a funny generic name. It has pretty good selection of stuff and surprisingly clean for a smaller Chinese supermarket. The location is superb because it's right next to the freeway. The plaza has other boba and fast food restaurants so it's fairly convenient location to come by. I've seen armed guard one time which is interesting. It has most of the stuff you expect from a Chinese supermarket so not much to say here. The checkout is one single line to the right so don't line up at the checkout counters and look for the small sign. read more

This place is my Go-To for all my Asian food needs. It's usually pretty clean and well organized, but there is ALWAYS someone blocking at least an aisle or two with restocking during store hours. They do stock a lot of harder to stuff find things. Some of the prices can be a little higher than expected. They have a good seafood selection as well. read more

You'll stand there forever waiting for service and when you get it, it WILL be with an attitude. This is the only Asian type market that offers a good variety of Chinese food products along with a good selection of fresh seafood and some fresh meats. This is a smaller market compared to 99 Ranch in Concord. It is in Antioch and it is the best we have. Mostly positive ratings, but wish it would offer cooked take out foods like BBQ pork, roast pork, roast duck, chicken and some cooked Chinese offers for take homes or special lunches. I generally end up going to 99 Ranch at times because of their wider selection of food products and ingredients I generally use at home. I loved shopping at County Market, everything is affordable, great customer service. However be careful going to county market and watch your surroundings. Multiple incidents of people being followed home after shopping at county market and being robbed. My family was robbed at gun point coming home from there. Please spread awareness, it's not being shown on the news because the DA is protecting them. It's unfortunate because county market is a good place to shop. I wish they also warned their customers. County market does have security outside, but I don't know how closely they monitor suspicious parked vehicles around the shopping center. read more

I don't understand their bagging policy. The cashiers refused to bag for you if you bring your own grocery bags; but if you wanted or willing to buy the plastic bags, they would bag it for you. During the covid time, I can understand that they didn't want to touch your bag. But it's over 4 years now, why they're still refusing to do their job? They pushed everything over at the end of the counter and waited for customers to bag everything while there's a long line of customers waiting for their turn. To the manager working today 9/6 around 913am stocking in the front I hope you have a better day. I approached you to inquire about your job posting for my son. Not only were you rude with the answer you just seemed like you could care less. Telling me to read the sign of the openings doesn't answer my question. I can read and had asked specifically about the cashier position. When I asked what hours you're looking for, you gave a vague response. It clearly shows you aren't interested in hiring. This is the second time I have been met with poor customer service in two weeks at County Market. I have been a loyal customer for 14 years and even more prior to when it was County Square and this is disappointing. Did you know that if you bring your own personal bag they won't bag it for you,would have to pay the fee per bag for them to bag it for you. They want your money . The cashier told me with a bad attitude and then she started talking about me and her native language Filipino, which I understood. It's rude when they talk about their patron in their language . You can find tropical fruit which i like but I thought the high price was unusually compared to other stores given that the price per pounds is the same. Ive only been here maybe a dozen times and i the last few times I felt fruit what charged more than what it actually weights given that I buy the same fruit at other stores and that its the same price per pounds but here I pay more or get less. I also found it unusual that the last few times right before it was my turn in line, person new cashier comes out and opens a register and asks to help me even though there are other registers open an no one behind me. I thought they were opening the extra register for good customer service but now I wonder if they do this to certain people so they dont return. The weight was off by so much I was about to ask her to remove the items from my purchase but i also had to prove to myself They were indeed overcharging by overweighing, so i paid the extra money and weighted it when i got home. Not sure why she needs to touch the fruit while its being weighed and if thats made the difference because it didint look like she was pressing but i am suspicious but not sire if the scale is damaged or tampered scale. But i will say I believed it may have been 3rd register or if all their scales are off or if the cashier did something But i was able to prove to myself the fruit weighed a lot less at home. I want to share my result and prove with pictures and videos that way if it happens to you can also weigh your fruit when you get home and compare with the weight on the receipts. Because I was overcharged so much and I know this isnt the only time ive been ripped off at this store im never returning but just want to make others aware so that you dont go as long without actually checking. read more

My favorite Asian market. Richard the manager is the nicest guy. The checkout workers smile. I'm here for the seafood. Produce is solid. A good assortment of pancit bihon and the bibingka mix I need to kill it in the kitchen! And they serve hot food if you want to dine in. They have been closed all of April 2020 due to Covid 19 and scheduled to open 5/1/20. I hope they survive this pandemic as I prefer going here than Ranch 99 or Seafood City (whom I also love). There's just something about supporting a non-chain local mom & pop Asian market that carries all the Pockys I would want. 4+ stars! read more

This is the best-kept secret in Antioch! If you want a good selection of groceries-American and Asian-this is really the only place around here! I support this local business because we don't have any true Asian grocery place that has Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai and Filipino, etc ethnic foods. These are much more reasonable prices than Safeway which is the nearest closest market. AND the produce is actually good! The best place to buy mangoes (have both the big and the smaller yellow mangos) and they are the sweetest. One clue I hate to give is they have produce that may start to be getting old and they package it for a dollar a whole bag of it and they are STILL good most of the time (you have to know how to pick them) so I can get mangos which are huge for like a 1.00 a bag or at least each which is still cheaper than Costco boxes (always unripe there) and they are the sweetest and juiciest mangoes! They do a lot of 1.00 bags and these produce are still good so if you are on a tight budget, go to this area first. They used to have a deli with hot food, but now after Covid, they do not have it anymore! I HOPE they BRING IT BACK soon because this was great after shopping or if you want a quick dinner to bring home-you have it! They had great beef stew won ton soup before! And long ago they had Korean bimbop sushi which is hard to find and was great (I like it better than the Japanese sushi), so hope management reads this and brings that back as well! This is one of my go-to places for groceries (Costco and Raleys and sometimes Safeway depending on the loss leaders/specials in their ads) and their meats/seafood are fresh right in the tanks swimming even lol! Suggestion to the management: Maybe rent the deli section to one of the newer dim sum places opening up?! Instead of them having to rent a whole store, they can rent it from you which has seating, etc and a bakery too and you can bring in more customers and have rent as well for an unoccupied and underutilized space currently! A win-win because both sides can use the business coming in from both sides! I would approach the various ones that just opened up or advertise if anyone wants to open one up!? Customers would benefit from this as well! OH, and everyone from the cashiers to management is very friendly and helpful and greets you so nicely! read more

On a Tuesday evening, I saw: - Lee's sandwiches branded condensed milk in a squeeze bottle. - Affordable lemongrass at $2.49 a pound, banana blossom at $1.99 - Lots of Thai and Lao ingredients, for their Lao clientele - Healthy Boy soybean paste. Sunlee coconut sugar. Dragonfly Laab Namtok mix. Golden boy fish sauce. - First and second press red boat fish sauce - Japanese shokupan? Random as fuck but I dig it. - Three ladies black and red rice - Hot pot meats galore, including sliced top round specifically for pho. - Lots of Filipino stuff for their Filipino clientele. It's pretty convenient. A smaller Asian market to grab stuff. What I've been getting lately are frozen dumplings, soy milk, store made seaweed salad (on the left fridge by the checkout line area), and I come to stock up on Korean pastes (gochujang and doenjang), when I'm lazy to go to another city. I'd pay more if they had gochujang without corn syrup like a lot of brands in the U.S currently. Other staples I get during different times of the year include dumpling wrappers (by the fridge section with tofu and soy milk) and spring roll (to the far right of the star, freezer on the left side, the "o'tasty spring roll shells" wrappers with a red front label)...also seaweed flakes for rice balls. (A bonus that there's seemingly plant-based spring roll and dumpling wrappers without any egg). The half gallon jug/container Hua Xing 1986/wa heng dou-fu soy sauce corp tastes more bean-y (compared to silk brand in big box stores) which I just got used to. I like that there's no additives so it's just the soybeans and water on the label. I didn't check but if they had a hot food section for when I have parties to bring food to for with Korean stuff like tteokbokki or Korean marinated meat, or Korean sides like japchae/ buchu kimchi, or kimbap (어묵 or 참치) or kimchi fried rice like mega mart in sunnyvale/fremont or Japanese marinated meat or onigiri like Tokyo central/mitsuwa/nijia markets...life would be more exciting. read more

I generally visit this store once every few months to pick up little things here and there. I was a bit disappointed when I opened a bag of my favorite noodles and found mildew/mold. I made the purchase on the 10th of january, placed it in the freezer immediately, opened it on the 15th. Once I separated the noodles, I found the mildew/mold. So glad county market is here in Antioch! My family and I don't have to go far anymore for Asian ingredients and we're so lucky to have this market with everything we need. There's fresh seafood and meats, as well as plenty of produce (we love the herb selection!) there's also a variety of frozen and packaged food. I feel very safe shopping here as the store takes precautions not only for social distancing but they also have a security guard standing watch during business hours.
