Before I explain my concerns, I want to acknowledge my service advisor, Christy. She has been professional, courteous, and has done her best to assist me. My frustration is not directed at her but at the overall lack of support I've received in getting my vehicle serviced. My Bronco currently has several issues that require attention, including: An occasional hard shift when shifting from reverse to drive. An intermittent or blank instrument display. The radio randomly powering down. Multiple outstanding recalls. I have been requesting a loaner vehicle since March so these issues can be addressed. I work multiple jobs and cannot simply leave my vehicle at the dealership for an unknown period without reliable transportation. They seem to have a good network with all the other dealers and can swap vehicles to get you the one that you really want. They are not like other dealers that I've dealt with in the past. I used CarGurus to send a message about a specific vehicle's price and how I was interested, however it was well over market value. Shortly afterwards I received 5 emails, none of which was directly to my specified inquiry. What I did get was an attitude about me presenting false information. My experience with Courtesy Ford Conyers was incredibly disappointing. My Ford Edge was picked up for service on Sept 19, and for days I received little to no communication. When I finally followed up, I got a vague text. My husband had to drive to the dealership just to get a timeline -- which turned out to be 7-10 business days before they could even assess the issue. That delay was never disclosed. I left multiple voicemails for the service manager and never got a call back. We ended up retrieving the car on Sept 23 and getting it serviced somewhere else. I submitted a formal complaint to the dealership's leadership and never received a resolution. If you value clear communication and timely service, I suggest looking elsewhere. read more

I will NEVER do business with this dealership! I supported a dear friend and purchased my first truck [2024 Ranger] here. That was the ONLY positive interaction. I had to go to another dealership for my 1st oil change because they never returned my call to set it up. I explained I needed an appointment because my time off is very limited. [Thank you Alan Vigil in Morrow] The Ranger has a recall and I was sent a letter to have it serviced at my purchasing dealership. I called set up the appointment and was offered a "valet" pickup from my home. I was assured the work would take 4 hours max to complete. I should have anticipated a "whole fiasco" when the valet wasn't here at the scheduled pick up time [930a] and no one called to let me know why. I called and they then said 1130a.."we weren't aware the service writer had scheduled a pickup and he isnt in until 11a". Mind you all transactions generate a text message. Oh wait it gets worse. I didnt start my clock until after noon. So, in my mind they should have my Truck completed by 4p and back to me by 5p. Nope!! My original salesman [Dexter Meadows] noticed my truck (my plates are distinctive) and called me thinking I was there at the dealership. He went over to check the progress only to be told they hadn't begun the work at 430p!! IYKYK..I was livid. I started calling service immediately only to be told they needed to keep my vehicle until tomorrow. I told the service writer to take my truck out of the bay and return it to me IMMEDIATELY! Needless to say I heard "I am sorry " umpteen times. As I steamed, I called the GM and Service Manager both who leave conveniently at 5p. I have no problems leaving voicemails. Apparently they decided to miraculously complete the recall repair in 2 hours. No one told me until I started dropping "F Bombs" and told them I'd be there expeditiously to get my Ranger. Fast forward to 7pm and they were rolling to return my vehicle by 730p. As I'm posting this to Facebook, I get a survey text asking about my service experience. IYKYK...Courtesy Ford is toast. I am a researcher and no car payment is my love language! So, I only look to buy a new car when I absolutely need to. I make certain that I have done all of the research that I need to do before going to the dealership. I only buy cars from the dealership that represents the manufacturer of my preferred vehicle. I work for a bank, have extensive finance training. I am also in IT and understand the inner workings of financial applications and systems. That said, I had the worst experience in 25+years of purchasing vehicles with a different Ford dealership. I researched available interest rates with my preferred finance company and compared with Ford Credit. I applied for the loan and received the lowest possible rate approval. I went through the True Car program and received an offer, both on screen and via email from this particular dealership. I called the dealership to confirm that the offer they had made would be honored and received confirmation. I paid $35 for a rideshare to get to the dealership, went for a test drive with the salesman and returned to the dealership, only to be insulted by the GSM when I wouldn't allow him to pressure me into a different deal. My husband had to come and pick me up from the dealership, which is 20 miles, almost 40 minutes (in Atlanta traffic) from our home. Thank you for allowing me to provide backstory and explain why this experience with Pete at Courtesy Ford was perfect! The next day, after the terrible experience, I checked my email and had an offer for the same vehicle from Courtesy Ford. Since the offer was $5K less, I was more skeptical about the purchase. However, as I mentioned previously, I had conducted thorough research and knew what I wanted. I called Courtesy Ford and after I explained why I was calling, I was transferred to Pete (pardon the omission of the last name). I asked Pete if I could please get through my reason for calling, to include my previous experience, before he began selling me a car. He obliged and I recapped my experience and let him know that I was not calling to negotiate or to see the inventory on the lot. I told him that I already had financing and that I had an offer from Courtesy and if he could not honor the offer made by the dealership, please let me know and I would be on my way. Trust that I gave Patient Pete (that's my new name for him, because that's exactly who he was that day) an earful that he did not deserve. Anyway, I gave Pete a few numbers; the vehicle stock number, the offer amount from Courtesy and the time of day that I needed to be gone from the dealership. Pete asked if he could call me back after he spoke with the GSM and that's exactly what he did. Again, I was on my way to the dealership in a rideshare, but this time with my 10 year old son in tow. I was in and out of Courtesy Ford within a few hours. The longest part of my visit was waiting at Navy Federal for the check to pay for my BRAND NEW 2025 FORD BRONCO! The staff at Courtesy went above and beyond: - Pete - no hassle, no haggling, no slick talk, no negotiating...just straight up customer service and facilitation of an easy sale. He gave my son a Courtesy Ford cap and that's all it took for him to want to go back on a regular basis. - Javada - CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S FINEST! He never stopped checking on us until we were out the door and he still gave me a business card in case I needed anything else. - John - John is just good at what he does. That financial process was so easy. He makes it seamless and engaged my son in conversation about school and sports while I was signing the paperwork. - Mary - talked through the additions I want to make to the vehicle and made sure that all my questions were answered. Mary is just a sweet lady! - Kayla - I have a personalized plate on my previous vehicle that I want to be transferred. Since I wasn't trading it in and I haven't sold it yet, we weren't sure if I'd be able to transfer it. She came over and erased any despair and disappointment I had about that. She explained how it will work and gave me her number to call her to walk me through it once the sale was finalized. Courtesy Ford in Conyers, BRAVO! I purchased my previous vehicle (which I do still own), a 2014 Ford Explorer, one week after my son was born from this location. That was a great experience and so was this. Said they would have our truck for two days and it ended up being 5 days, which would have been no problem if we hadn't been lied to. Told twice when WE CALLED that the truck was being tested. This was on the 3rd and 4th day. NOT TRUE! It wasn't tested until the 5th day. Had to always call them to get an update. Their only saving grace, as usual, was our salesperson Jason. Once I called Jason, funny how the same day our salesperson was contacted our truck was tested and released back to us. Horrible. I gave them one star because I had to to write a review. I don't know what changed at Courtesy Ford Collision Center. I have taken vehicles to them before, and had great service. This time, not so much. I T-boned some red light runner without insurance. Called State Farm. They gave me a list, but Courtesy Ford wasn't on it. I asked if I could take it to them anyway. They approved. I should have known something was off, especially if State Farm doesn't list them as preferred. I tow my truck up there and go talk to the receptionist. She said someone would call me in the next few days. No one ever called. I called and left messages. No one called. Almost two weeks pass. I called and I asked the receptionist what was going on. I was put on hold for 12 minutes, then hung up. The receptionist calls me back a few minutes later (the only person at the collision center to call me back) said they were awaiting approval from State Farm on a supplemental report. I called State Farm, no one knew anything about it. That finally gets sorted out. I call to check the progress. The person in charge of my truck at Courtesy, Brandie, Brandy, Brandi, unsure how she spells it, never returns my calls. I finally call and tell the receptionist I'll hold. Finally get her. I'm told they are waiting on parts, and it should be done the following Friday. For six weeks, I'm told the exact same thing. It should be done next Friday. I finally get my truck back after over two months of sitting in their lot. They didn't even fix everything damaged in the accident. That's another story for another day though. The truck looks great, except for the part they didn't repair, even though Brandi said it would be an easy quick fix. My family have bought cars, trucks, a van or two, from Courtesy Ford, back when it was still Mike Bell Ford. Courtesy Ford will never get another dime from us though. From calling to make an appointment and getting bounced around from one department to another when I clearly pressed for the service department. The people who work here don't even do the bare minimum. Terrible customer service. Took my car in for a diagnostic and they kept my truck for a week just to tell me I need a battery and new tires. Mind you that is not the reason why I brought it in. The dash cam was disconnected and the cables just tossed to the floorboard. Why? What does the dealer have to hide that they feel the need to disconnect my dash cam? Is this standard practice that the service department finds it necessary to touch, manipulate, disconnect my cabin cámaras. I am convinced they went joy riding in my pickup truck. I bought my car on Sept 9, 2024. I received a phone call on Sept 11, 2024 from Miles stating the total would be $1500.00 however, there was no guarantee the issues would be resolved. With that being said, I declined service and asked what the total would be. I was told $205 for the diagnostics. Several days later, I receive a phone call and the total $430, not $205. Explanation, two diagnostics. I declined to pay for an additional diagnostics because I was not told it would be an additional diagnostic fee. Customer service is key and this Ford dealership failed. Little did I know that I was purchasing "6 new tires from hell" at this facility. After the tires were installed, I drove it and immediately returned the RV because the vehicle was pulling hard to the left. They did not perform an alignment check, multi-point inspection, or test drive the RV, as they claim to do per their company inspection guidelines. As a result, this place kept my RV for nearly a month diagnosing it with complete incompetence. The problem did not exist until after they installed the tires. After several attempts to learn about the vehicle's condition, I made a final visit to check the RV status and was handed my keys. "I had to walk approximately ¼ miles to pick up the RV from their fenced maintenance area." And while driving, it continued to pull hard to the left. I took it to another service shop and they corrected the problem in less than 30 minutes. I also received my RV back with tire valve caps missing, and the wheel cover nuts were loose with one nut missing. I am awarding this outfit with 1-Star which should be considered very, very generous and greatly appreciated. I highly recommend that review ratings be allowed for 0 or No-Stars. During this episode, I earnestly attempted to directly communicate with management and the owner about the poor service but did not receive any responses. As a result, I felt compelled to contact Ford's Corporate Customer Service Office for assistance to return my RV back to me. I have learned the GM is extremely incapable of accepting responsibility for providing poor service and only appreciates 5-Stars. Sadly, properly managing customer service issues is a very low priority. What an unfortunate way to manage a business. Consumers, shop this service at your OWN risk! read more

Requested diagnostic for noise when turning. Diagnostic came back before i even got home from dropping my car off. They said it was clutch plates for a whopping $3300. I paid in cash on the spot and now my car drives worse than before. Took it back for a recheck and they claim that the problems i experience do not exist. They rush through inspections and stripped out all the rear lug nuts in the process. I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS. Representatives were polite but the shop has proven to be UNDER QUALIFIED! I expected WAY better from an Authorized Dealer. Spent $3300 and im scared to even drive my car now. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. ONLY AFTER YOUR MONEY. The labor is subpar but the price for labor hours costs more than all parts combined. Service center is not to be trusted! Save your money! read more

THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!!!! We purchased a vehicle from Courtesy Ford & were VERY pleased with the experience. We thought we'd be customers for life! My husband took that vehicle in for an oil change yesterday and was told that we needed an additional FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS of work. When my husband asked several questions, the service writer could not justify the necessity for ANY of the services. He knew that the multitude of maintenance was NOT needed. This crooked service writer, told my husband & even WROTE ON THE ESTIMATE that there was only "1 mm & 2mm" left on the brake pads. What they didn't know is that my husband is a retired CERTIFIED mechanic. After being taken for a fool by Ford, (my husband in in his 80s & probably looked like an easy mark). He took the vehicle to Conyers Tire. They were HONEST & showed him that easily ONE THIRD of the brake pads were left. THEY DIDN'T EVEN CHARGE HIM! We can drive another 10-12 thousand miles without needing new brake pads. We are just SICKENED by this BLATANT attempted thievery! We had recommended this business to friends & family but never again. This is just pure GREED and should not be rewarded. Conyers is still a pretty small town & your reputation means everything. Courtesy Ford has shown that, at least their service department, is only after your money, not your trust or repeat business. My 2022 f150 has been at the dealership for a axle repair 3 weeks now. The repair went from them not finding any thing wrong to them tell me my axle is broken. The estimated time to repair this went from two days to the three weeks we're at now. I've had to call them multiple just get the status of my vehicle. Found a used truck listed on AutoTrader and drove the 30 miles to Conyers to look at and potentially buy it. When I arrived at the dealership I found the truck parked in a parking space but it looked like someone already owned it. The bed was full of junk, front seat had a pile of items in it along with phone chargers and coffee cups and mud on sides and step rails. Pulled up the truck I was looking for on the app to compare the VINs, it matched the listing. A salesman came out looking to assist me and I told them I was interested in the truck but it looked like someone had already bought. The salesman informed me one of the managers was using it as his "Demo" and went inside to get the key from him. Instead of just getting the key he came out with the manager as well. The truck was the previous model year and was advertised as having 5,000 miles on it with a price tag around $60,000. After the manager came out with the key and started it up I noticed the mileage was over 7,500. The manager explained he had cleaned out his garage the day before and brought all the junk in the truck to throw out in the dumpster. This was around 6pm, he had all day to put the junk in the dumpster. He then went on to say it was a great truck as he had driven the truck to Floridawith his family. Since it was basically now a 2 owner vehicle with 50% more miles rather than a 1 owner vehicle I walked away. Several weeks later it was still listed and the mileage was eventually updated to over 8,000. read more

I told him I'm tired of getting rentals and I wasn't able to get another one due to the fact my last rental had a crack due to a rock hitting it. I said I know I can't get another rental which is fine. I ask him since I can't get another rental I need to know what's up with my car. THIS PLACE SUCKS! Don't waste your time nor money (Dec 2024). I own 4 ford vehicles and take them all to Heritage Nissan for any maintenance or repairs. The owner needs to fire all his department managers and start from scratch. I have tried multiple times over multiple years to use this place and they fail every time. their Service department sucks with zero sense of urgency, or customer care, it's more like oh you need repairs done? Meh, yeah what do you got?....almost as if customers inconvenience them. Same with the maintenance shop across the street. paid the inspection fee for a used vehicle I bought my son. They quoted 2,400 for bank 2 converter (chk engine light was on) which was correct. I asked anything else wrong? No all is good.....front and rear shocks blown, rear main seals blown, left front wheel assembly blown, 4x4 wheel seal was blown alignment was trash. I knew all this and wanted to see what the cost of repair would be but wanted them to find it and tell me during the 120.00 inspection I paid for. oh and both side upper and lower control arms were blown and left side tire rod was bent. They put it on a lift and didn't catch any of this. zero attention to detail or pride in their work. I replaced all these items myself and took it to Nissan for an alignment. read more

I had my mustang gt towed to ford for a starting problem, took 2 weeks for them to diagnose that it was a simple relay issue, then i received a call saying a tow truck had ran into my vehicle but they would take care of it, a month passed with little to no communication on their part when i received a call that they had ordered the wrong bumper after i reiterated to multiple employees that it was an after market gt350 bumper. I told them to order the correct bumper and let me know when it would be ready and i would pick it up and reinstall it on my vehicle. When i picked up my vehicle i noticed my $4,000 wheels (3 piece weds vishunu) were stained from some sort of chemical so i called larry taylor the general manager of the dealership, he was rude interrupted me during our conversation and stated that i was trying to steal money from them and called me "robinhood" i asked to speak to the service manager nick fisher and his response was even worse, he stated that they didnt damage my wheels and that they would not fix them and would not paint correct and ceramic coat my vehicle as it was prior to this incident. 1 month and 2 weeks into this issue he stated very rudely that if i had anything else to say to them i would have to have my attorney contact theirs and hung up the phone.
