Absolutely not how that happened at all !! Your service advisor called and left a voicemail on the charges he mentioned NONE of the things you mentioned in your email. He only mentioned the one part being not covered. As far as me yelling and hanging the phone up on him, I was in the hospital in the Chaplins office when the conversation took place so your service guy is not being truthful there was no yelling and I didnt hang up in his face. Snellville Auto cannot be trusted. They will charge you a required upfront 150 dollars to do a 'safety check' where your paying them so they can find other issues to up sale you. it's a guise to get more money. In my case, they replaced a part without contacting me. Kelly told me after the fact and, when I questioned why they would do that, he immediately stated he would remove that charge. He didn't. After breaking a part in my window, they first admitted it but the decided to deny and became arrogant and defensive. Stay way from this place. Don't believe anything Kelly tells you.They are all about the money and take no responsibility when they cause unrelated issues. read more

I didn't have good luck here, My daughter took her car in to have alternator and belt replaced--I thought the cost was high at $1300 but we went ahead with it-- but when she left she noticed AC no longer worked (not good in Georgia)-- she returned at a later date and had them check the AC to see if was caused by the Alternator install and kind of got a run around from several techs there--she was charged $100 for them to check it and told they would have to make another appointment to trouble shoot it further and it may cost up to $2500 to fix--we took it to another shop and they found the electric connector on the compressor was bent/broken during the alternator install and repaired it for $150 read more

I moved my auto repair business here after going to a place that specializes only in German cars for quite some time . I switched to this shop because my husband takes his American truck here. There is an auto technician at SAC who specializes in German vehicles so that made me feel a bit better. Here's what I like: -easy to get in/make appointments. -timing estimates are pretty on point (if they say you will have car back by end of the day, it doesn't usually drag on until the next day) -front desk people are friendly and welcoming -they call and explain what's up before they perform any work -open on Saturday Here's what I don't like: -prices are by the job and not by labor hours I have had the unfortunate and frustrating experience of having something expensive replaced only for that maybe not to have been the problem in the first place (this is an airbag light story) but overall they have been reliable and honest to work with. The dealership was going to charge me $3500.00 to replace a torque converter. SAG saved me thousands by applying a transmission shudder fix and changed the fluid. The shudder is completely gone. My son took his 2005 Mustang here for service and raved about the service he received. They had fixed an engine miss on the first visit and during the inspection recommended that it would be wise to change out the front ball joints on a 260,000 mile truck. I went in on a Thursday to talk about ordering parts and setting up an appointment and they asked if I could have the truck back in the next day when they opened. Truck was in and out in about 6 hours. Great service and everything clearly communicated. Doesn't hurt that I have a 24 month warranty on the repairs too! I will be back. read more

I LOVE SNELLVILLE AUTO CENTER!!!! I hate dealing with mechanics, they're always trying to get one over on me but not Snellville Auto Center. I called and they were able to fix my car the same day. My car ran smoothly after my visit. They didn't give me a long list of other things wrong with my car like other mechanics. They didn't pressure me in buying other services. Disappointed. My vehicle is in horrible shape and has several visual defects at are painfully obvious if you've ever sat in it. I ask for an inspection and list of maintenance concerns. I was told to drive it till it breaksdown and bring it back then. If you have money to waste, Snellville Auto Center is the place (located on Hwy 78 East). After being a customer for several years, in trusting Snellville Auto Center with my car and knowing that they will be honest with me about my being a customer for years, well that was not the case. I took my car to Snellville Auto Center because my A/C was blowing hot air. The head mechanic advise me that the A/C fues was bad and it will cost me $353 to get it fix (95 Honda civic). Anyone knows, summer time heat in Atlanta is not easy and being unemployed and going on several interviews, I had no choice but to fix the A/C even being unemployed. One day after leaving Snellville Auto Center, my A/C continuing doing the same thing blowing cold air for 10mins then hot air. The next day I took the car back in advise them that A/C was blowing hot/cold air. They looked at it and didn't see an issue with it because it wasn't blowing hot air. Two days later I brought it back in with the same complaint, which they got to see because the A/C was blowing hot air. After keeping me at the shop for 4 hours, the head mechanic told me that the A/C computer system was going and it would cost me and additional $500 on top of my $353 to fix it (keep in mind this is a 95 honda civic). Why should I have to pay an additional $500 when your uneducated A/C tech fix the wrong thing. Well, being unemployed I just could afford to pay that. So I waited a year to save up for the summer time to fix it (still being unemployed). So I decided I would take the car to a Honda dealership. I showed the Honda dealer the paper work from Snellville Auto Center, with the work they did and what was recommended to fix the problem. Well the Honda dealer check out their recommendation (computer issue per Snellville Auto) The Honda A/C Tech did not find that to be the issue. The issue was very appearance which was a bust hose and fan that cools down the compressor. Which now I will have to end up pay $400 to get it fix. I can't believe it cost $800 to fix a 95 Honda Civic A/C. The what would it cost to fix a Lexus A/C Well, I've learned my lesson. Trying to go cheaper only ends up in more expenses. So if you want your A/C fix, DO NOT go to Snellville Auto Center on Hwy 78. But the worse part, after being a long time customer of Snellville Auto Center I was hurt in the way I was treated. And only because I have to give them a rating in order to submit this review. But I wouldn't rate them at all. read more

Been going to Snellville Auto for years. This place has helped maintain every vehicle I have ever owned (I went from a 2003 Dodge Stratus, to a 2003 Jaguar S-Type, to a 2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe). The only small slight that I have is that sometimes they can get a little pricey. SOMETIMES. But before the Inifiniti, I only owned problem cars from bs manufacturers, so I guess the expense of maintainence came with the vehicle. In addition, I dont mind paying the extra because they do high quality work to me. I once moved to Chattanooga for about 5 months and had proudly said that if my Jag (at the time) breaks down I am getting it towed from Chattanooga, TN to Snellville to get fixed! I live out of state and the mechanic we used growing up happened to be closed this week. I wasn't sure where to go but after looking at Yelp/repairpal reviews and getting a recommendation from AAA, I picked SAC. Everyone was super friendly, explained the problems/solutions well, and the store is clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that when I called to ask about bringing in, they didn't mention how busy they were that day. I think it was an oversight and if that's my biggest complaint that should say something. Now I don't know enough about cars to say whether they are priced low or high, but I felt it was fair. I had diagnostics run, my spark plugs replaced, an oil change, and an induction cleaning. They also forgot to check my tail lights as I had mentioned one was put. When I asked about it, they immediately apologized, checked it, replaced it, and didn't even charge me. I would definitely trust them with my car again. read more

I took my 1981 GMC Caballero in because it would not start all the ti/me and needed to be jump started. After checking out the truck they called tom advise what they found to be not working correctly and what repairs needed to be done. They gave me an estimate for repairs and I approved and asked them to proceed. When they were done with repairs they called to let me know it was ready and to let me know what other repairs where needed to so the engine would idle properly. When I went to pick up the truck they reviewed the work that had been done and went over what they found when making the repairs. They advised me to drive the truck before deciding if further repairs where needed. They were correct in telling me it needed more repairs. The folks at this shop are "AWESOME" you will not find more honest, polite, friendly people than these folks and I highly recommend that when you need work done on your vehicle that you give them a try. My father and stepmother and I used to use only Snellville Auto. They replaced my catalytic converter last year. They did VERY poor welds on my catalytic converter which led to obnoxious exhaust fumes draining into my car (I was pregnant) and a nasty rattling sound. I noticed this as soon as I got into my car, but when I asked about it they said it would go away. Next day no improvement and now I'm afraid to drive in my car. I called, and apparently they didn't believe me and didn't want to fix it, because they said I would have to wait a few days before getting it looked at (meanwhile the fumes were dangerously strong and the check engine light was already back on). The (very nice) receptionist repeatedly failed to take me seriously on the phone, and I assume she kept forgetting to speak with the manager. No one saw this as important. The welds were so messy, ANYONE could see it was butchered. After poor mechanical service and poor customer service, I finally came in and demanded that the manager look at it, and it was fixed on the spot. However, I, nor my family members will be using Snellville Auto again after that expensive ordeal. read more

i came in with a clutch pedal and brand new return spring and bushings i paid $48.65 them brand new from frssport.com i asked them if they can help me put the spring in it needs to be compressed in. they hooked me up i was very grateful for that i showed them how it goes in and they took it back took them about a hr to get it in he came out and said it was tough but we got it i said thank you and observed it i noticed he put it on upside down and chewed up my new bushings and not only that he twisted my return spring it dose not sit properly sit in the pedal one side of the spring was pushed way in the pedal and other about to bust out of the assembly i showed him a picture on my phone of how it should look he rolls his eyes and just takes my phone and pedal to the back who just takes someones phone like that wtf... comes back 5 min later and gives it to me saying good luck getting this back in the car and laughs i look at everything its bent the bracket that the spring sits in between is literally rubbing against the spring and i can tell its fucked i get home and install the clutch in my car i go to test it out it constantly rubs the bracket when i engage the clutch i literally have to bring it back up with my foot i'am not happy cause not only do i have to re buy everything i have to buy a whole new assembly cause the idiot bent my bracket to hell i was going to go back on Friday like i told the guy and pay him for his time when i got paid but i can def say that since he messed up and destroyed my parts he can go fuck himself i'am so mad right now he said for me to bring it back in he can try to fix it but i refuse cause i might get it back in much worse condition probably with a rope attached to it so i can pull it up with my hands then he also denies that when i called him up he didn't put it in upside down or he didn't bend or twist my stuff he said i did exactly what was pictured now i know why it took you about an hr to put together cause you fucking put it in the wrong way pretty funny that i told you the second time how it goes you come out in 5 min the second time.... fuck this place read more
