Good experience with sales. Not happy that before 5 K miles my 2025 Accord Hybrid was kicking out 5 or 6 codes. I called and was told to bring it in at 9am the next day. Nobody said that it was going to take forever! Just how I wanted to spend my day off. If I knew, I could have made other arrangements. Update: After waiting for almost 3 hours, I was told that someone stole the millimeter wave radar sensor from behind the Honda emblem. I was told since this was a theft., there was nothing that could be done about it and it was gonna cost me almost $1500 to replace. None of the technology on the car would work until this replacement was made. after doing a bit of research, I discovered this is a known issue and Honda refuses to make it good. Needless to say, I will be selling the vehicle and buying a Camry instead. This is ridiculous that Honda won't even work out a fix to make it more secure. My daughter's father died, and she wanted to keep his car. The air was not working when we took it, so I brought it right to Courtesy to get the air fixed. The first couple of times, they thought it was a leak they said they fixed. The third time I brought it for the same problem, Tracy said she would make sure it was fixed! She said it was the blower motor and they replaced it. A year later, it isn't working, so I took it to Ice Cold Air who looked at it and said the blower motor needed to be replaced. They thought it would be under warrantee. I called, and spoke to Tracy who said it would be under warrantee. I didn't want to leave Ice Cold Air before verifying that, because, if it wasn't, I was going to have Ice Cold Air fix it. I am now at Honda having to pay to get the blower motor replaced because it was a month out of warrantee. I am stuck because I left Ice Cold Air and am going on a road trip tomorrow. I have given Courtesy Honda over $10k in the two years I have had this car. I will never use them again and will never buy Honda! read more

Amazing state of-the-art facility at Courtesy Palm Harbor Honda. Everything is brand new, sleek and very clean. There are three separate customer waiting areas depending on your mood or requirements. Four flat panel TVs provide movies/shows, free coffee, snacks and WiFi. The coolest feature I found was at the end of one of the customer areas there is a floor to ceiling bank of glass allowing customers to watch the service technicians work on their vehicles. Amazing place to come as a parent. A Maintenance Check light on my car came on so I scheduled an appointment at Palm Harbor Honda. Well, I actually scheduled over seven appointments, because my son's naptime kept changing. Since you schedule online, it was easy to change it. I kept thinking someone in the office must think I'm crazy. I showed up, they saw my one year old, and they said they would work quickly. Once I found out they have a kid area, they could take all the time they need. Seriously, that kid area is amazing! It has toys and a tv. Also, like I mentioned in my past review, the fact that they have snacks is a game changer. They also have an amazing coffee machine where I made myself a latte. Hey, it's the little things in life. While I was waiting for my car to be serviced, Christian came up and talked to me a bit about my son. He was so friendly. I actually remembered that my husband needed to get a new car, so we scheduled to come back in a couple weeks to take a look at their inventory. They have new Hondas, but they have used cars in tons of different makes and models. There are tons of people sitting here getting work done. We were in and out in about an hour. They gave me a list of things that they would suggest I do, but there was no pushiness at all. I don't think I can ever go back to having my car maintenanced by any other place. Even if it costs a little more, which I'm not saying it does, it would be worth the price for this atmosphere while waiting. read more

AWEFUL SERVICE all around at this location, but read the entire to post to understand it starts with Brett, the GM. Over the summer we went in to buy 1 car and came out with 2 cars. One was paid for outright, the other financed. Don and Ed, our salesmen, were INCREDIBLE! I will admit I almost backed out when the slimy finance guy came to discuss financing. Nevertheless, we held our ground and would have been just fine walking away. Unfortunately, the used car started STALLING WHILE STOPPED! I always turned the "auto idle stop" off as soon as I got in the car because it appeared to be the problem. I brought the car in and they "checked" the battery and said everything was fine. The problem continued randomly and a couple weeks later it STALLED WHILE DRIVING, once on US 19 and once on I-275! I brought it in again, and they "checked" the battery and said it was fine! When I asked what the problem was then serviceman was condescending and rude. I escalated to Jared, the Service Manager and he had the senior mechanic look at it and they came back again and said it was fine. I started doing my own research and sure enough there is a lot of discussion about this issue on my year, make and model. So I contacted Honda; never heard back. Problem continued and I brought it back. I asked for them to remove the "auto-idle" because I really thought it was related. One service tech told me I was "overreacting and did not know what I was talking about!" They brought the car back and they found nothing wrong! They did, however, damage my car in the car wash and failed to tell me until I brought it back for an oil change soon after and I when I questioned what the "repair" was on my paperwork, they blew it off and said nothing important! Tracy the service advisor explained it to me and I was satisfied, but confused they didn't mention it if it was no big deal. As I went to drive the car off the lot and the "auto-idle light" was not on, so I went back and asked if they shut it off. Once again the rude, condescending man reminded me "it's impossible to turn off and it will come back on when I start driving a few miles!" It had not come back on for months, until yesterday. SIDEBAR: TRACY is the service advisor, the only one my husband and I will deal with. She is the liaison between the servicemen and customer. She is always very helpful and tries to do what's right for the customer. She is the reason we have stayed these 6 months. Yesterday, I brought it in for an oil change and I mentioned the NEW "recall" for for "stalling out while driving". It is on my car, but the new years, so mine is not covered. I asked if there was anything we could do with Honda directly, and there is not. Thankfully Tracy was there and she came and asked me about the problem. I explained the stalling was no longer happening since the auto-idle was shut off. After reviewing my chart, she asked to test my battery. I told her it has been tested multiple times and she said they never tested it on the "machine", only with a handheld device, which would have been protocol. I was livid! I asked to speak to manager and unfortunately, I was quickly reminded it was the same man, Jared, who cared less last time. Of course, he acted like he cared and listened but when they found it was indeed my battery failing, he was going to charge me to replace it!!! He finally agreed to charge me cost $250! I was so upset I asked to speak to his boss, the GM, Brett. Brett listened just like Jared and acted like he was going to take care of me because it "was important that I am in a safe vehicle". He told me to sit with Don (whom he pulled from a customer) and "pick out another car!" What does that mean? After 4 hours wasted, Don and I had no idea (even after asking multiple times) how much are you giving me to trade my car in). There was nothing comparable on the lot. Finally, Brett suggested to Don that he "offer" me a lease, at which I asked Don, "what does that mean? I just paid cash for my car a few months ago, I am not about to take on a car payment." Brett told him to just take me for a test drive to see if I liked the new model. Don went and told him I liked it and asked next steps only to be presented with a lease agreement for any customer walking in off the street! The lease agreement showed a $1100 discount! The GMs way of retaining a 30 year loyal HONDA customer, who just purchased 2 cars from him 6 months ago, who sold me and failed to fix an unsafe vehicle was "taking care of me!" I was ready to leave when the slimy young finance kid appeared and asked what he could do to close the deal! HA! It's now clear to me that the lack of customer service and care comes from the top down. Fortunately, there are a few diamonds in the rough, TRACY, DON, ED and the driver for the service department. i had a great experience at this location. i found a 2019 honda civic si listed on carfax at this location for a reasonable price and sent a message saying i was interested. they immediately contacted me, and i came in 2 days later. they were so helpful and polite over the phone! this was my first time financing a car and they were super helpful and quick with the whole process! my salesman was William, he continued to ask me if i needed anything and made sure i was happy! every offer they had for me was super reasonable. i walked away with the car and everyone was happy. i highly reccomend coming to this location if you want top notch service. read more

Be very careful with the service department. They will recommend service that may not be needed without providing any evidence or intelligent discussion. In their world if something leaks it needs to be replaced when in reality there is a difference between a slow leak and a fast leak but the service rep is not able to provide any real information. They will also recommend service because of miles and not the actually condition of the car so again they recommend service that is not really necessary and they may recommend the same service over and over. They replaced my spark plugs and then a year later recommended that I replace my spark plugs again. The actual service work is good if your car is low mileage and your bill is covered by warranty. read more

Just happened: So, a deal pops up on Facebook for a synthetic oil change @ Courtesy Palm Harbor Honda. I have a Mazda but cool - I'm in. Schedule the appointment for the next day where I show up 15 minutes early today. Guy outside checking me in says it might be over an hour, do I want a complimentary car wash? Absolutely, this will be great and I get comfortable in their waiting room. They have snacks and water, even better. Why didn't I find this place sooner? An hour goes by, fine...should be done soon. Once I hit 1:20, I begin wondering. I look out at the parking lot - my Mazda is still there. I asked one of the seated reps if he can advise what's happening, and he says that's where they put the cars waiting to go in. I'm like what, I've been here for over an hour? He says they don't carry Mazda filters, I said fine, but could they have told me before checking in. He said they probably had to go get a filter - and I ask, how long does it take to get a filter? He said I'd have to talk to the rep handling my vehicle (Valerie? Might be, but let's use that name for now). Valerie says she'll check. She calls to the shop, no answer. She gets up, heads to the shop, comes back, and says flatly it's about to go in. I tell her I've been here for over an hour, no one told me, and I'd like my car keys back. Nary a word, she gets up, gets my keys, and returns with "Do you want to reschedule". I gave her an incredulous, "of course not". And walked out. Valerie could care less. I was super angry. No "I'm sorry" from anyone there including Valerie, the first rep and the guy outside who checked me in who watched me leave after I handed him the COVID prep coverings in my Mazda. I get my car's oil changed every three months or so, so when the little wrench popped up, I knew I had to make a call and get an appointment. I called on Thursday afternoon, about 4:30. When the service department answered, I asked about Saturday times. Unless I was leaving my car with them, they didn't have anything available until 3pm. I was fine with that. When I arrived at 3pm, I was told that they'd get my car in as soon as possible. I'm fine with waiting a bit, I'm a patient soul. While waiting, they played a movie on the DVR, but it's nearly impossible to watch a movie in their waiting room with all the ambient noise. The volume is either too much, or not enough, there is no happy medium. It was almost exactly 1 hour to the dot, and my car was finished. She runs beautifully now. This dealership has been the best I have found in central Florida. I have been to five different dealerships. Two in Orlando, one in Tampa, one in largo one in Melbourne. Some have all these gimmicks, like a 90inch tv at the waiting room, free food. And shit like that. To cover the bad service and the "sell, sell" attitude. To include the one I bought my car at. I can care less about those gimmicks, you are taking your car home not that TV.. Service is great. My service guy there is Keith. Great guy, honest, knowledgeable and very helpful. Of course just like in any bussiness, profit is made by selling. But I did noticed. Here they don't try to sell you shit you don't need. For those of you that might not be familiar with maintenance. There is such a thing as "preventive" maintenance. An example of that is break fluid. PEOPLE!!!! Brake fluid needs to be replaced in whatever vehicle you have. The constant friction creates height temperatures, burns it out and thins it out. Affecting performance. If a battery is 2-3 years old, needs to be replaced even if it still working fine. (Just like cellphone batteries charge cycles get diminish with time) So you don't get that surprise when it leaves you stranded. So when a dealership brings that to your attention it's a valid shit. Not trying to sell you shit you don't need. Anyway. I do recommend this dealership even over the one I got my car in. read more

I would not recommend this place. I called to schedule an airbag recall and was told they only do that during the week on certain days and if I needed a rental car to be there at 7am. I got up at 5am to be there for a rental to go straight to work after. When I checked in the man was rude and told me Enterprise opened at 730. I then asked if they would check my car for a few other items and was told it would be $99 for them to do that WHAT??!! I ask them to check for other recalls to take care of while I was here, (because I will def not come back here) and was told the system was down...All while he was still rude. I've used their service department and their sales department. Both came close to an excellent performance, but missed by a small amount. The service department was efficient and friendly, but failed to reset my oil use indicator after an oil change. They were very quick to remedy the situation, but person fixing the issue was concerned enough to double check that the oil change had actually been done. The lack of attention to details made me wonder if they missed anything else. My experience with the sales department was very good right up until I hit the sales manager's office. I know many people hate this part of the sales, but this guy seemed fair and finally took "no" for an answer after only a about a dozen times offering me extended warranties, etc. The problems became apparent AFTER I got the paperwork in the mail a few days later. He had overcharged me for my registration change (refunded by the tag agency) and although he haggled for half an hour over a matter of $5/month per payment, he failed to see if I could obtain better financing through my own bank. Once I got the paperwork, I realized he had arranged financing at two full percentage points higher than my bank was offering. I immediately re-financed the car, but that was not without cost. I did not buy my car here, but I've been bringing my car here for service pretty much since we moved to Tampa ~4 years ago. The service advisers have always been kind, but my experience over the last few months has been progressively more and more negative. In June, I had major maintenance done on my car where multiple services were performed. After we left, the brakes were squealing intermittently. My husband and I are not mechanics, and I don't try to be an expert on things that are not in my field, so I have to leave it up to the professionals to explain and resolve problems with my car. We do not know the causes of this type of thing and no one took the time to explain it to us in plain English. To my surprise, the advisers were consistently dismissive about it since we first noticed it. 6 months and many visits back later, the brakes still squeal. Last time we went in for another service, we asked them to please check the brakes again. When we got the form back showing what was done, it was marked off that the brakes were not inspected. We reiterated that we needed the brakes checked, and a somewhat impatient adviser came out and showed us something like rotor dust(?) and left it at that. I was honestly so tired of going back and forth about this that I gave up and said okay. I've spent thousands of dollars at this location on car service, yet it took me posting my problem online to have a stranger, who I've never paid money to, explain what could cause this type of squealing and how to resolve it, and to reassure me that my car is safe. So now I have the knowledge I need to take my car to a mechanic who will make the squealing stop. It's not about the squealing, which is apparently just a superficial annoying problem, it's about the lack of care in explaining this to a paying customer, and the impatience and lack of care of the associates. When I got a follow up call, I let the person on the phone know we were really not happy and she let me know we would get a call back from a manager, which never came(this was a few weeks ago now). At this point, I'm no longer interested in talking to them and will be taking my business elsewhere. I'm sad to say this Honda location has lost a loyal customer over this. I used to take any opportunity to recommend this place to fellow Honda owners, but I can no longer recommend it. read more

I've been in the area for 6 years now and Courtesy Honda has given me outstanding service in both (1) the service dept and (2) the parts dept. First, the service dept: Always cordial. Goes beyond what I have experienced at other dealerships. For example, I brought my 2007 Accord in with brake issues. There was an issue with the brake module which made the car unsafe to drive. Courtesy Honda drove me to a very close Enterprise car rental facility AND they paid for the rental while the repair was being made!!!! Read that again -- Courtesy Honda paid for a rental car!!! Secondly, the Parts Dept: I wish all parts departments were like Courtesy Honda's parts dept. Again, always cordial. Elysa in the parts dept is top-notch. Always orders the correct part I need no matter if as common as brake pads or as uncommon as some wackadoodle nut I need. She is always willing to investigate a part on the computer and share the graphic breakdown with me. Over the years I've dealt with some parts folks that treat that info as if it were secret schematics to build rockets. So it's very pleasant that she treats me with kindness. Today I give them only 2 stars. I have been using them forever, got my lease there, had service there all the time and today they did disappoint me. Went for my oil change and the recall for the seat handles and after they were done I went to put my twins in the car and the car seats were just throw in there, upside down, the cables that connect them to the seat all off. I had to fix it all with the kids waiting outside. Ok if they can't put the car seats for me but all was disconnected. Cables all over, it took some time for me to fix it and put all in order and the toddlers waiting at the car door. My car seats are big and expensive and if they did throw in the back they did not care about them or if it was going to scratch my car, something that I am very careful with. Hope that they understand that one action of them is enough to loose my business since I could see that they could care less....will make sure I also update my yelp review since so much has changed at this place. In the past I generally been happy with their service department. However I recently received a recall notice for for my 2012 Odyssey. The notice said the work would take approximately 30 minutes. I called to schedule an appointment and was told I would have leave the car there all day. I thought the logic in scheduling an appointment was to avoid being Inconvenienced all day. Cancelled the appointment. They need to do better job of scheduling their techs. read more
