It's a smaller pool in regards to less lanes, but I have never had to share a lane here. The life guards are all attentive and know their stuff. I love the large jacuzzis - more than one too - and connected closely to the locker room. The place is clean too. They keep it up well, and staff have always been friendly and professional. But I have been here several times and I enjoyed my swims experiences.

There are Planet Fitness gyms that are comparably equipped and MUCH cleaner than this place and a far better price in the area. However, if you're down with globs of hair in the cold showers, gum on the gym floor (that attracts local wildlife... okay, ants) for your kiddos to play in while you navigate wads of dirt, dust, and grime on the cardio and weight equipment, THIS is your gym! If you visit midday, ladies, please remember to abide by the unspoken rules.... matching outfits, full faces of makeup, and momsquad attitude. This place is reminiscent of the really cheap gym on Plainfield near 96 without staples to secure padding at a premium price. Given the lackadaisical attitude of management regarding health standards, staff does as much as they can but there is no focus by leadership to improve cleanliness. The sports areas include 4 baseball diamonds, 4 sand volleyball courts, a soccer field and a great spot for sledding in the winter. Ample parking with 2 separate entry/parking areas. I will say that the playground area is rather small and appears to be geared towards younger children, but a nice park to have family events.

There is ample parking all around but is almost not too far from the Kent Trails for anyone wanting to bike in. There's a lap pool, and if this is your thing, check the times for lap swims. Sometimes it is crowded and you have to share a lane, and sometimes it isn't. Find your time! There is a play area that is wonderful - separate from the large pool. It has a slide for littles, a gradual walk in with splash fountains, and then you round the corner and can walk in a waist-deep pool (or do very short laps) - there can be a basketball hoop there. There's also a sort of lazy river with benches that you can walk around. This, too, has open hours that you can pay a small fee to use. The Aquatic Center is a fantastic community resource!
