My daughter is a member of the Cincinnati volleyball academy that practices at courts 4 sports- we can't say enough good things- especially about coach Amy! The new ownership is great! (2022?). They have been working hard to revitalize the space. The inclusion of Explosion Athletics is a welcome change because you don't have to go anywhere else to train. Play and train in the same location. The trainers are knowledgeable and good at teaching the correct movements so no one gets hurt. Our daughter had a volleyball camp scheduled in July 2022. My daughter showed up to the camp after we paid for the camp. The day she showed up she was told that camp was canceled. It is now three weeks later and they still have not refunded our money for a Camp that they canceled. We have spoken to Heather Kalape and Sean Newhouse both having promised us to refund our money, again three weeks later and no refunds. There have been multiple phone calls in attempt to get our money refunded to us. Nothing has been done to apologize to us nor refund our money I would never use this company again. Virtually next door to Wall2Wall Soccer is an amazing new athletics facility, McGee's Courts 4 Sports. Former Cincinnati Bengal Tim McGee came up with the idea for the sports complex, and was able to execute it with the help of several past and present NFL and NBA players and local professional help, according to its website. The outcome of McGee's vision was a 53,000-square foot sports complex, which includes two NCAA length and four high school length state-of-the-art basketball courts with top of the line adjustable basketball goals with glass backboards and breakaway rims, shot clocks and scoreboards and plenty of seating, six volleyball courts, an arcade area, an array of TVs, sports apparel and equipment, and a concession area. Courts 4 Sports is really all that it's cracked up to be, and I was amazed at what I saw and knew that I was in great complex right when I walked in. As soon as you walk through the doors you have two courts (courts B and C) on your left and right, with all the action facing your way. Courts 4 Sports is home to numerous tournaments and events, including this week's girls basketball AAU 15 and under national championship. Most of the other national championships are being held in Orlando, so if that doesn't tell you about the quality of the Courts 4 Sports' facilities, then I don't know what does. Courts 4 Sports is also playing host to a number of other events this summer including the Ruben Patterson UC Reunion Camp, the Mid American Youth Basketball National Invitational, the adidas Summer Slam Exposure Event, and the Ohio Senior Volleyball Olympics. The complex is also home year-round to the McGee's Basketball (tournaments and training run by former NCAA players) and Volleyball Academies (team and group training), which offer many different camps this summer. McGee's isn't limited to big time basketball and volleyball camps and events, though, as it also holds summer basketball leagues for kids graded 3-12, men and women's adult leagues, the NFL Youth Flag Football League, team and group volleyball training, and even a sport called futsal, recognized by FIFA as the official indoor football (soccer) sport. Tim McGee had a dream for a state-of-the-art facility like and now that he made it happen, he can host and train others of all ages and levels who's athletic dreams take them through the Courts 4 Sports complex. Parents RUN!!! Do not waste time or money here. This is a review from a head coach. 1) Our team joined a 7th Grade league, one week before the first game we learned we would be playing in an 8th grade league... NOT the league we joined or paid $2,000 to participate in. 2) Registration fees were to include court time for practice, Jay Etter (C4S) required our team to "share" one court with two other teams.... Which limited the effectiveness of practice... Of course, Jay's personal team was granted 2 hours private court time, twice a week... Fed up, We finally rented an external court at additional cost so we could practice. 3) Teams ignored the roster rules and played non-rostered "ringer" players at the end of the season and playoffs... When I asked Jay Etter (C4S) for a copy of the original roster for a suspected team that we were scheduled to play so we could verify eligibility, Jay REFUSED. He said "it wasn't in the BEST INTEREST of C4S to prove teams were cheating". ARE YOU KIDDING ME? 4) The REFS appeared to be woefully unqualified.. I have been a head coach for 10 years, this was by far the worst reffing I've ever seen. All they were interested in was collecting the $22 fee... They would blow the whistle to start a game and "fall asleep" for the rest of the game... This resulted in needless injuries. During our season I saw, 2 concussions, torn ACL, dislocated shoulder, broken wrist, and several bloody noises. Parents RUN! While Jay Etter is involved with C4S in any capacity... I would avoid C4S like the plague.... Incidentally, C4S is a virtual petri dish of bacteria. read more

The only reason they got one star is because they do not offer the zero option. Paid $600 for AAU ball and received a college intern with no basketball coaching experience. No communication of games or tournament schedules until the day before. Practices were held on 1/2 court only. Every practice the boys had to make sure the did not run into the volleyball net dividing the courts. The Director Jay was never seen or heard from again once the checks cleared. the facility is poorly run and nasty. read more

Poor management...no return calls, voice mail always full

So I visited this facility today for a tournament my son was playing in. He is only 8 years old. While we were in between games my child wasted some time by playing the arcade games. One of the games that cost $1 was not working so my son put his money in and the machine just ate it up. So my 8 year old son went to inform the man serving the beer at the concession stand. He says "Sir, this machine is not working and it took my quarters". I stood there and watched this grown man respond to my son by saying "so". I don't know who in there right mind would say so to a 8 year old who's telling an adult a problem. My son said can I have my 4 quarters back? The man said no. That's fine if you want to be a giant a hole and just be rude to little kids but at least go and put a sigh on it so other little kids won't keep losing their money. He didn't care at all. I was disgusted to watch a grown man be so nasty to a little innocent kid. read more

wish I would have read these reviews ahead of time. All the things about rosters in correct. People in charge will not return calls or emails. I mean NO response. Had a Jr. High team. Lost a game and stayed for another game and noticed all the starters went to play on other teams that were HS level. Played the same teams 3 times. Arrived to find out opp. did not show up. Total waiste of money with other options out there to chose from read more

I would stay away from here until Jay is no longer in charge. Will not respond to emails and the coaches are so out of the loop because they can not get in touch with him. While the facility is nice, spend your money elsewhere and be involved with a more organized program. read more

Building has mold on the walls and bathrooms are disgusting, hope they can turn it around because the place has potential to much more than it is already. I will be contacting health department about the mold. read more

The ONLY reason this is getting 1 star, is because there are no options for zero stars. I simply cannot believe what happened yesterday. I called looking for my sons soccer team warm up jacket that he cannot find. He played in a Futsal tournament there two weeks ago and I was calling to see if they found it. It took me twenty minutes to even speak with a human being after being hung up on every time someone answered the phone.... I then decided to go through the prompts and try to call individual departments hoping for an answer. The guy in charge of the basketball answered and I explained to him my problem. That I was hoping it was found and they could go look for me as I wouldn't be able to get there till next week. I have five kids( 3 in sports) and a fundraiser I chair this happening this week. He said" not sure if it's here" After a little back and forth trying to pry an answer out of him I then asked if there was anyone I could speak to that would be able to check for me, he then said " I'm that person." I said "ok sir, can you please go look in the lost and found for me so at least I know it's there." He acted as though I asked for the moon and told me " you can come look." I said, " you seriously won't look for me??" He then sighed, huffed and puffed and acted like a compete jerk. I told him he had terrible customer service and hung up as the conversation already made me late for a meeting! This was outrageous. Five kids ... all of which either play sports or will be playing sports as they get bigger. We are always trying to find places for parties, to hold practices, or for extra training. Needless to say, I will post this review on every social media site I can. I hope people read these reviews and don't waste their time or money on this place. I know we will not. They will deal with my husband next.... good luck to you on that one. read more

We love this facility - score boards you can see! Padded individual seats! nice concession stand with many well priced options, large courts with ample seating, responsive owner, high ceilings (a must for volleyball), and even entertainment options for the rest of the siblings who are otherwise whining about having to attend a sports event. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT put your child into the basketball program here. If you have a ready made team with a true coach, maybe. However, if your child is looking for a team, forget it. My daughter was put on a team, and the coach missed, a lot. The only game we won, the parents coached and ran the practice before. The parents' practice was better and more challenging than the coach hired by Courts4Sports. No management to speak of, ever. The league didn't start until the end of June. When I called a few weeks before to inquire of the start date, the lady that answered the phone was very rude. What they don't tell you before they take your money, is that if you have a daughter looking for a team, she will end up on a team of misfit toys, and playing co-ed. The spin they give you is that it will challenge the girls and make them better. But what you get is much larger boys grabbing where they shouldn't, knocking them to the floor and saying nasty things to them while being guarded. You will play select and highly competitive teams that will full court press you and laugh as they smoke you 20-2. We had Freshman girls and younger playing against 17 & 18 year old boys. We know them, they went to our high school. Definitely a lack of sportsmanship from the teams that came from across town, lack of class by both the people that run this, and the teams coming in. They will suck anyone in to pay the rent. Go to Kids First or call Ronnie Grandison, he at least runs a classy and stand up organization.
