Courts is a great addition to SRB. Great pizzas and burgers. Karaoke and music bingo on weekends. Give it a try

Stopped by for brunch, but it turns out they only serve lunch…read more I ordered the pesto pasta with salmon, and it was excellent. The menu said penne pasta, but what arrived was a different pasta shape, rigatoni maybe, that actually worked better. The sauce filled the pasta, so every bite had plenty of flavor. The salmon was cooked nicely with a crisp exterior that added great texture to the dish. My husband ordered the shrimp po'boy, and unfortunately his experience wasn't as positive. The first sandwich had to be sent back because the shrimp were so overcooked they had the texture of chicharrones. The staff quickly remade it, but the second sandwich was only slightly better. Part of the issue seemed to be the size of the shrimp. They were quite small, which makes them much easier to overcook. Considering this is a seafood and steakhouse restaurant, we were surprised by the size and quality of the shrimp. That said, both our waiter and the manager were very kind and responsive when addressing the issue. We chose not to send the sandwich back a second time, and my husband simply didn't finish his meal. The iced tea was delicious. They prepare it tableside using something similar to a coffee press, which made it taste especially fresh. And the view? Excellent as always.

Short wait, maybe 20 minutes with no dinner reservation, then we were ushered to our patio seating for the perfect weather and view. A railing lines the back patio to prevent falls below and provides great selfie opportunities. The noise level was raised from ok to loud when a group of young adult men sat nearby. Hooper's is one of the most unique restaurant experiences I've ever had!…read more It's inside the restored Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) house from the movie, and walking up to it feels so unreal. Once you're inside, you can explore a lot of the house and it blew me away how much you're able to walk around and see. There's art everywhere, tons of movie memorabilia, and it kinda feels like a Texas Chainsaw museum that just happens to serve food, which is pretty awesome. The theme isn't subtle either (in the best way). One area had a bar with a severed head behind it! There are so many little details, displays and photo moments that other horror fans are going to be obsessed with too! Even the menu is fun, with stuff like the Chicken Slaughter sandwich and the Hitchhiker's grilled chicken. I know it's cheesy, but I love it, especially when the whole place is packed with memorabilia. Food was pretty good too. The experience is definitely the main event, but the food held its own as a bar and grill, and mixing that with how cool the place is made it feel like a full stop, not just a novelty visit. Service was fine but not super standout. There were only a couple staff members actively helping people while others were cleaning up, and everyone was nice enough, just not really "above and beyond." Our food also took a while for a burger and a turkey sandwich, but honestly those are my only real complaints, and I'm only even mentioning it because I'm also here to talk about the food. It was great regardless of the wait. Upstairs has a few more Leatherface items plus some gory/spooky decor, and there's a cool little location map where you can stick a pin in to indicate how far you've visited from! They also have a creepy skin looking guest book to sign, which is such a perfect touch. One real warning though: it's an old house. In Texas, Prepare for the heat, and I mean that seriously. If you want to explore outside too, come ready. I had a UV-blocking umbrella and a face mister and I was still feeling it. Sunglasses for the grounds are a must too. Also, there's a kitty living on the porch named Tuxie, and he's a precious little buddy who loves attention. Make sure you say hi. If you're a horror movie fan or you just love weird, memorable places you'll be talking about after, this one is absolutely worth it.

They have fun decor, movie, posters, and other related memorabilia up throughout the restaurant. A group of 10 of us ate here tonight in the room where the notorious dinner scene was filmed. Most of my pictures are of the place, but the food and drinks were satisfying too. They offer standard American fare and our waitress did a great job juggling our orders all while being efficient and kind. I made a reservation online easily which is recommended because they can get busy, especially on a Saturday. I tried their artichoke dip which was decadent and served with chips. I got so full from that that I just had a stuffed baked potato as my main course which was really good too. Their beers were reasonably priced even for drafts. They also have fun specialty cocktails aptly themed to the history of the restaurant. We're planning to go back another time for brunch and to enjoy the town of Kingsland a little more. We were treated to a gorgeous Sunset on our visit but left before we lost too much light given we all drove from San Antonio and didn't want to be on the smaller hill country roads too late at night. We passed a few deer so you do want to keep an eye out for the local animals on the way there and back if you're coming from a different city.

I know I like la crema so mine was yum. The hush puppies were crispy outside and nice & soft inside. The dip had a nice kick...I'm guessing jalapeño ranch. Good app. We got shrimp & catfish and shrimp & flounder. The shrimp and fries were really good. My husband enjoyed his founder, too. My catfish, unfortunately, tasted strong of ammonia and was inedible. The server took it back and said they'd "figure it out". I wasn't asking for anything just letting them know. The chef told the server it was not bad but being from Louisiana I've eaten ten times my weight in fried catfish i know what I know. The server, Louie, was excellent. He was super gracious and we will come back because of him and his exemplary customer service. He took it off the bill and was very concerned I would be going home hungry. What a caring heart. Was going to give 2 stars but Louie's attitude bumped the experience to three stars. I'll review again next time but no catfish for me here. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful evening air and view.

The ambience in this restaurant is great! They have a big bar area, with comfy chairs and tables in their lounge. It's separated from the dining area. There's enough room for live music, which they had on Halloween. Low lighting throughout for an intimate feel. We were greeted and seated immediately, but we were a little disappointed in the lack of attendance at 8:30 PM. We had a couple of drinks and a couple of items off of the appetizer menu, and then ultimately decided to head to Johnson City to see what festivities were going on there. The appetizer pricing seemed a little high to me ($20 each plate) but the dishes tasted good. The croquettes are really rich and cheesy. I didn't get a lot of lamb flavor from the flautas, but they were good. They also had free chicken wings and chips & salsa for their Halloween event. The wings & salsa were excellent! If we had stayed another 20 minutes, we probably could've won the costume contest ($50 prize) because we were the only ones dressed up besides the staff, but we didn't want wait until 10PM. It's a classy joint with a speak-easy kind of vibe. Give it a try!

They have local artists come in every week. The music was great and they had the volume low enough where you could still have a conversation if you wanted. The staff was so nice and attentive. They gave great recommendations of the menu. They have an good wine selection. Most of the bottles are from Flat Creek Winery. We had the 4 Horseman which was full-bodied. Definitely would recommend. The baked brie is delicious! It tastes so good with the bread. We had the lemon garlic penne with chicken. The sauce is so delicious and you can distinctly taste the lemon and garlic. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The chicken Marsala was good. Being a mushroom fan, I would have loved more mushrooms in the sauce, but overall was tasty. This was our first time at Adele's but it definitely won't be our last!
