You can move all around this park. 5/5 Amenities From pickleball, to the playground or doing Ollie's on the skate park. There are a lot of activities you can do at this location. There are courts for pickleball or tennis, fields for baseball or soccer, picnic tables all over for you to take a load off or paved walkways for you to get your steps in. 5/5 Trees Nothing beats having large trees to give you shade on sunny days. Rainy days are a different story. 5/5 Parking Parking all around the park. You can even park right next to the kids playground. Overall solid park to fit whatsoever your heart desires. So be sure to move and Psalm 119:89, God bless

Other than folks mistakenly referring to it as 'Finkbinder', we love our local G-town park…read more I think the additional 'd' might come from an old 50's themed restaurant in the Village called Fender Benders (sp?), which closed many years ago - and folks confusing the two. But, that said, only old Glendorans would be making that mistake and yet I hear folks of all ages add the 'd'. The park has lots of amenities we've used since our kids were born and even before... - summer concerts and movies in the park - birthday or event areas (Scouting) - playground - tennis court (other side taken by pickleball :( - skate park - sports fields - horseshoes - volleyball - community center And more. We love walking through the park on the way to the Village. If you haven't been, worth checking out pretty much any day of the week. So many fond memories created at Finkbiner. Even Pokémon Go events, haha.

There is so much to do in this 10-acre park. The park is well maintained with neatly trimmed grass, plenty of trees for much-welcomed shade, clean bathrooms, and plenty of free street parking around the entire perimeter of the park. At the moment, Covina Park is my favorite park of them all

Prior to Hollenbeck Park getting renovated we would come to Covina Park. 4/5 Family Events The park does offer family events in the summer (movies, concerts, etc). We've taken the kids to a few movies. 4/5 Recreation Renovated playground gives the kids much needed play. There is a padded walking path near Badillo Ave. Always a lot of people playing fútbol or catch in the open areas. 2/5 Bathrooms Well you do have to worry about this thing Outdated and always smells like urine. A good powerwash could help. 4/5 Parking Street parking available all around. This park doesn't have a designated parking lot. 3.75/5 Likelihood to Return While it's no longer our go to park it's still nice to be able to walk on a spongy trail. Hope they fix the bathrooms sometime in the future. Psalm 147:12, God bless and Stay Prayed Up

For a nominal fee, I drove my truck full of family, blankets, chairs, and snacks right out onto the grass, where staff directed me to a spot next to some other folks we knew, also enjoying the chili evening. One of those large inflatable movie screens showed the classic Christmas tale, Elf, and the kids had a nice time. If you've spent any amount of time with children, you know that snacks and drinks lead to multiple trips to the restroom; ergo, I got a cursory tour of the park as well, hiking to know fewer than two of their restroom facilities. On that walk, I noted lots of shade trees with picnic tables underneath, tennis courts, play structures, and the other details you would expect to find in a neighborhood park. Everything was pretty clean, and facilities were well-maintained. No signs of anyone living here rent free, and amateur wall art was at a minimum in this quiet neighborhood park. Seems like a good spot to get in some exercise, participate in youth sports and other activities, or just find a shady spot under a tree on a hot Azuza day to spread out a blanket and relax a little. I think we all need more of that these days.
