    Great accommodations!

Rene, the engineer, was great! He identified the issue in my room and was able to resolve the problem quickly, with little interruption to my stay here. Love the customer service, I hope Colleen Langford recognizes what a great team they have here. As they are the reason I would consider staying at this hotel again.

If you are looking for a newly renovated hotel and one that is also part of the wonderful Marriott brand, this property is one to check out if you are visiting the area and especially if you are flying into Burbank Airport, as it is only one mile away. I visited this evening during their renovation celebration and you can definitely see and feel the "newness." It is located at the far end of the Empire Center in Burbank. In this center, you will find shops (Target, Walmart, Nordstrom Rack, Marshalls/TJ Maxx, & Sephora/Ulta) to name a few, and restaurants (Sharkys, Outback, Jamba, & Blaze Pizza) to name a few so you have a one-stop shop for all your needs during your stay. Some of the new features are: *a modern-designed Bistro serving Starbucks, Breakfast, & Dinner *Expanded bar serving craft cocktails & six rotating beers on tap *Robust Fitness Center with cardio and strength equipment including newly added space for floor exercises *1,800 square feet of customizable meeting &event spaces *Updated guest rooms that include mini fridges, 50" TVs with streaming ability, & high-speed Wi-Fi *Spacious outdoor patio with firepits and gazebo **Only 2 miles from Downtown Burbank where you will find more shops and restaurants, about a ~15 minute walk to Costco, & right across from the World Famous West Coast Customs Automobile Repair Shop Overall, it is a very nice property and in such a great location in the heart of all the entertainment studios.

I've stayed here a few times. Every time, it has been clean, well staffed, and comfy. The bar, breakast/dinner cafe, serve a decent meal. The drinks taste great. Tv's on sports. Staff is friendly. Directly across the street from West Coast Customs and next door to the Netflix Animation building.

We spent 2 nights here in a King Hospitality Suite when we did Universal Studios for weekend. This was the closest hotel that was available to the park (about a 10 minute Lyft drive) and for the 2 nights, it was sufficient. Since our flight got in at 8:30am Saturday morning, our room wasn't ready yet. We were able to leave all of our luggage at the front desk so that we could head straight to the park. We didn't get back until around 10:45pm that night and it was nice to be able to come home to a comfortable room. Here are a few things we loved about the room: * Ample space since there was a separate living room with pull out couch, TV + desk space to work. * 2 fridges (I don't know why they had 2 separate fridges but they did! Neither of them came stocked so no need to worry about getting the munchies and diving into overpriced snacks or drinks.) * Microwave (we didn't use this but it was nice to have it) * Separate bar sink that was in the living room. Since we had 4 people in the room, it was nice to be able to use the extra sink to wash up, brush our teeth, rinse, etc. * Separate pull out couch in the bedroom = 2 separate beds total (both twin sized) * 2 TV's-- one in the living room and one inside the bedroom * Easy sign into your Netflix account which Marriott always offers. * Clean room, clean shower, Comfortable king sized bed. Some things we didn't love: * Pull out couch mattresses were not comfortable at all. The mattresses were super thin and didn't offer any kind of support. These would be good for kids. * The shower head was placed a little too much to the left side of the wall and you couldn't adjust the shower head back to the middle. This left us all having to wedge ourselves to the shower wall so that we could properly rinse. Things we loved about the hotel: * Starbucks coffee at the restaurant in the morning. * Close distance to Universal Studios. * Super friendly staff that was very accommodating. We asked for 4pm checkout on the Monday that we left. After spending a 17 hour day at Universal Studios (Horror nights during the evening portion), we definitely needed to sleep in. Titanium members get the latest checkout at 4pm and they were more than happy to accommodate.

Barf! I had to stay here for a work conference and I so wish I would have booked the Marriott that is a mile away. The first day was good. They let me check in early before the conference and waived my parking fee (which is a pretty b.s. charge considering it is just parking in a standard lot), but after the first day the shine wore off. There is no continental breakfast, but there is a small cafe/Starbucks. The rooms are fine. Large bed and lounging sofa. They have the standard brown hotel furniture. Again, not the issue with this place...the issue is the cockroaches! I was dressing for the morning and found a small bug in my luggage. I initially thought "oh, great bed bugs." But as the day progressed and I reviewed the Yelp reviews for this place I am not convinced it was actually a small cockroach. Unfortunately, Yelp won't let me upload the video I took of the largest cockroach I've ever seen in my life running down the hallway, but I included a screenshot from the video. After seeing this I inevitably felt like bugs were crawling all over me for the rest of my stay. I slept with a towel blocking the gap between my door and the hallway. I expect more from a Courtyard. Would never stay here again.

Stayed here on a recent trip to Universal Studios. This hotel is close by to many major shops and restaurants and there's a Costco near by too. Only reason we chose this place was because it had a suite ( king bed plus 2 pull outs. One pull out sofa in the living room area and another pull out inside the bedroom where the king bed is located ) Here's the breakdown for Hospitality Suite: 1 king + 1 pull out sofa in a bedroom 1 pull out sofa in the living room 1 bathroom + 1 sink with a large counter space Microwave + fridge + 1 kitchen sink Space was very comfortable. If you need the beds made and towels replaced ( basically housekeeping services ) , please let them know the day before or upon check in so they can plan ahead. With covid, some guests prefer to not have anyone enter their room during the duration of their stay. Breakfast is not included however there is a café in the lobby. If you want to save money you can always bring your own breakfast or there is Krispy Kreme donuts just a couple minutes away. Overall this hotel is conveniently located and of course staff was friendly.

This is one of the main spots we choose to stay when traveling to SoCal and never really had any problems. Plenty of room for parking even though there is a parking fee and I feel safe that my car will be okay overnight here. The hotel itself has always been very nice and spacious and clean as well and the staff is friendly. No complaints!

I know hospitality -- and this property gets it right…read more I stay here fairly often. As a short-term rental host whose own home was recently recognized in the top 1% in the city, I book the SpringHill Suites when my place is full and I need to stay close by. So I'm not a casual reviewer -- I evaluate stays the way I'd evaluate my own. The rooms are genuinely well sized, and the desk is large enough to fit the 42-inch monitor I travel with everywhere, which is rare. Parking is a small fee. Breakfast is included, and coffee and the best iced water I've ever had are available around the clock -- a small thing that tells you a lot about how a property thinks. Every single staff member I've encountered has been pleasant and accommodating. That doesn't happen by accident. The manager, Tiffany, is gracious and patient, and the tone she sets runs straight through the whole team. Culture starts at the top, and hers is excellent. I speak from experience when it comes to top-tier hosting. Marriott is lucky to have Tiffany.

I'm writing this review because I was not pleased with how a guest was treated at your hotel business today. We send our friends, family, and clients to stay at the location due to its convenient location to our business. After today's experience, which was the complete opposite of hospitality, we will no longer be staying with SpringHill Marriot on San Fernando Blvd. in Burbank. Has hospitality in the hospitality industry ended or something? Since when do we make hotel guests (who like to tip) hunt down and fetch their own luggage cart without offering assistance, let alone help locating cart? The guest, who is arthritic, called to ask for a luggage cart to her hotel room, was told to go find a cart no one was available to bring a luggage cart to her room. The guest just wanted to be able to check out & felt embarrassed trying to locate a luggage while hotel employees watched on and did not offer help. The woman Cara at the front desk could not be bothered to help either. I will Also mention that when we booked this reservation,,whoever took the information down on the hotels end did not properly enter the reservation into the hotel system. So our guests Check in ALSO did not go smoothly. We had to get that fixed as well. More time wasted. I rarely write a bad review on Yelp but I strongly feel it is necessary this time. Very unfortunate experience today at your not very hospitable hotel.

As a Hilton Diamond honors member, I was able to get $10 food and beverage credit for me and 1 guest so $20 credit total which I used on small Icelandic bottled water which the price sheet said $4. I picked up 5 small water bottles so I could use my $20 credit but what I didn't know was that their system said it was $6. There was a price discrepancy from what they posted on their price sheet on the lobby versus what their system charged so they ended up charging me $30. I had to correct this with the front desk and call back to ensure it was taken care of after I checked out. I wouldn't have grabbed 5 bottles if it was $6. Fast forward to a few days after I checkout I realize the hotel charged me for $16. I called back to see what the charge was for and they said it was for the 2 large Icelandic water bottles in the room. I didn't even touch those. It was annoying having to call them back to dispute the charge. Why would I take those when I already got 5 small water bottles per day? They reversed the charge right away which I appreciated but I wasn't happy I was being charged for something I didn't take. This was a vacation for me and I had to spend time during my vacation and afterwards correcting two things. On the plus, they did offer free coffee in the lobby during the morning hours and they were able to get me a slightly earlier check in, but just those two other incidents left a bad impression on me. I wrote my feedback in their survey which they emailed to me and did receive an apology email from someone from their team, but I was still not feeling great about the whole situation. I just want to warn others to check their credit card after their stay to make sure they aren't automatically charged for water they didn't take. If the default is to charge this to everyone regardless of whether they consumed the water then that's shady practices. Be warned. Other than that, the location was great! Fulfilled my need.

We were able to arrange a shuttle from Burbank airport, which somehow got confused and delayed so that was 2 phone calls and waiting in 106 weather about 25 min. The building is pretty from the outside and clean inside, cute signage. I know they're trying, but the front desk lady either didn't notice or care that I was walking very slowly with a cane- she put us in a room a VERY long walk away, like basically on the opposite side of the entrance and taxi stand. I opted not to have to bother with walking back to the front desk to remedy it, but it put a big damper on our trip. My injury was way worse after having to make that trek 2-3 times a day (so 4-6). It was also extremely far from the pool. :( Also, there should be cups by the front desk for people to be able to help themselves to water rather than having to walk all the way down to the café, and then all the way back to the water fountain essentially crossing the span of the hotel. The beds are so very uncomfortable, but housekeeping was nice and put a mattress pad on the bed and that helped by about 10%. They have a dj set up by the lobby with a good sound system. The landscaping on the property is lovely (check the garden!). Parking is easy because they have their own garage, though you'll pay for it ($18 a night or something). Biggest miss was the food/restaurant. We had prepaid for breakfast (via hotels.com) and It wasn't clear what that included. Even after checking in there was no clarity. Only when we were in front of the cashier at the restaurant did we learn the following: - Limited to "the Burbank breakfast" for adults - you can get something else on the menu by adding money. - Burbank breakfast includes a coffee but when we asked for the coffee but she said it was too late... we needed to order it (I didn't explicitly say "I want the coffee" when I asked for the Burbank breakfast. - kids can get 1 of 2 items from the breakfast menu and they are both inadequate for any human older than 4. Even then we got a text for 1 room (we had 2 rooms) so we had to "charge it to the room". Also... the food sucks. Sausage tastes weird. Pancakes have a tough texture. Eggs are fine. Passing through on the way to somewhere else. Camped out for Universal and the tourist machinery parked on its doorstep. Or running broader Valley and LA operations from a room that actually lets you sleep before the next day's campaign. It flexes to whatever you need it to be. The design gets the balance right, which almost nobody does. Just enough old Hollywood kitsch to nod at where it's standing, and modern in every way that matters once you're actually trying to enjoy the room. It respects the history without cosplaying it. The staff are the thing, though. In a town that treats service as an inconvenience, these people are genuinely, unsettlingly good at it. The bar is a real bar. The food is perfectly acceptable, which in this context reads as a miracle. The valet knows what they are doing. The hotel is located within a 10 minute walk to Universal Studios/City Walk so that was very convenient. They also have a shuttle that comes every 30 minutes or so but the walk is so easy to do that I would recommend that. The hotel lobby and conference rooms were very nice, including the small break out rooms used for the conference. I didn't like that you have to be a Hilton member to get free Wifi but the conference came with its own wifi password so it didn't affect me. The King Corner Room was very spacious and had a separate sitting area. The room seemed a bit dated. The sofa looked very worn, like something you would see at a college dorm, so I avoided it. It did have very large windows with a beautiful view. No robes/slippers included in the room. Although I stayed for 3 nights, housekeeping only came one morning. They have a Starbucks in the lobby that is open until 11am daily. Staff was very friendly. It was a big conference (about 200 people I think) and staff did an excellent job with catered breakfast and lunch serving that many people at once. Not a luxury hotel by any standard, but for a work conference hotel, it was good. And the 10 minute walk to Universal Studies/City Walk is very convenient if your purpose is to visit those places since you won't have to pay for Uber/Lyft/parking for those places.
