This was a great location for us when going to King's Island. Only 10 minutes from the park and in a quiet neighborhood. Rooms are very nice - they look recently remodeled and were exceptionally clean as well. Always a plus when staying away from home! I thought the bed was comfortable and the pillows just right for my liking. The TV has streaming services on it so you can watch Netflix or YouTube- it is in an odd location in relation to the bed. You have to turn your head to watch, which works short term but maybe not for hours of TV watching. The only downside was the alarms were set to 6 am. And it wasn't just ours - we could hear one going off for a while in the room next to us. If you turn it off before you go to sleep, won't be a problem but that's not something I normally think of since I use an alarm on my phone. Overall, a great stay. Cost around $179 with tax for a king size bed. read more

Our extended family stayed here this weekend. Overall we were pleased with our stay. The rooms were clean, plenty of towels. There was also a nice somewhat hidden area off the lobby for us to hang out at (which we did, alot)! There is a nice pool (we didn't use it but it looked clean and warm) as well as bar with some food. While my family's beds were comfortable some in our group found them too soft. My one negative is the lack of free coffee in the lobby. There are coffee machines in the room but its just nice to be able to have coffee at the ready when I walk downstairs. I dont care enough about it being Starbucks that I should have to pay for it. read more

Stayed here for a soccer tournament in Cincinnati. The hotel is older but has been maintained very well and is clean. The suites were a nice size but the pull out will only sleep one person. Also, the bathrooms are a little on the small side. I would stay here again. read more

The hotel is odd. It's almost like an incomplete square I guess? The stairs and the elevator are quite far from the check in, and there's only one elevator. It's only 2 floors so stairs are fine if you can find them lol. There was dirty clothes someone left behind in my rooms drawers. Ew. I also didn't really like that the patio sliding glass door was unlocked when I got there. The room was big though and the hotel bar was nice. They have a mini Starbucks in the morning as well with a limited coffee and food menu. read more

When you visit this Marriott you need to be aware that they have some serious maintenance issues. When I checked in I changed 3 rooms in 3 hours. It's not fun having to change rooms 3 times. Stay away from rooms: Room 215 Room 115 Room 035 So for my trouble and aggravation the front desk was accommodating and gave me extra points. But still aggravated. Sorry, I just don't have anything nice to say so I will leave it as is. read more

This has to be the most poorly designed hotel I've ever stayed at. It's like a labyrinth from which there is no escape. And while you are angrily searching for a way out, they have sadisticly turned the heat up to surface of sun like temps in the hallway. My king room didn't have a microwave [I do my own coffee pour over, so that's huge] and it turns out only suits, of which there only a few in the whole hotel have them. However, the whole place has a very tranquil feel. And with it having been recently renovated, it has a fresh clean look inside. Really good mattresses too. read more

This is a decent Courtyard location with reasonable rates. The service is attentive and there is ample parking all around the hotel. It's definitely one or the larger Courtyards I've stayed at, if your room is on the back half of the building it might make more sense to just drive around to the back and park there. This location does have an older decor package, and to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the red wallpaper they behind the beds, it just doesn't seem as relaxing as the newer ones that have more greys and blues. In terms of dining, there a large pub/sports bar just a 3 minute walk away that has a good craft beer selection and some more interesting food choices ham what you would get in the Courtyard's Bistro. But, I will say, props to the Bistro here for actually having a local beer selection available! read more

I've stayed here before after a Kings Island trip last year. I was tired and didn't feel like driving back to Indy. This hotel was so reasonable priced that I was upset with myself for not staying here both nights. The room was clean. There was a couch and even a patio in our room. It was spacious with comfortable beds! The bathroom was a decent size and the shower got super hot like I like it. They have a decent size indoor pool as well. The hotel in general is well kept and I had a quiet night sleep and couldn't hear any neighbors or doors constantly closing. The next time I'm in the city without question I'll be staying here! read more

The Blue Ash Cincinnati Courtyard is one of the better Courtyard experiences I've had with Marriott since I started traveling for business a few years back. The staff here is especially attentive and didn't make any mistakes in the handful of weeks I spent here. This property still doesn't meet the expectation of a full service property (which it is not) but it's definitely above par for the line of properties it's priced with. I was disappointed to find out that the whirlpool was removed and signage/description weren't yet updated, but the pool is well taken care of and the rest of the property and rooms seems newly renovated. read more

A vibrant space and staff with excellent sleeping quarters and a hearty menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late bites. The bar is lively at night and service is always friendly no matter the hour. Only issue is how paper thin the walls are. You can hear anything from feet shuffling to phone alarms rolling through snooze for hours in the morning. Definitely put on white noise or ear plugs to mitigate this and pray you don't get a loud neighbor. read more

The lobby of this hotel is nice - updated - includes a food/drink bar - trendy tables and chairs - etc. Service at the bar and front desk were great. The rooms are drab, with efficient yellow lighting (and yellow wallpaper! yuck!) making it feel like you are actually sleeping in a coffin. They do have a nice large-screen TV, but I have come to expect this in Marriott brands. Free WIFI is nice. Paid $92/night, which was a group rate. I would have been really annoyed if I hd to pay more than $100 for this place. read more

Stayed for two days over the Memorial Day weekend in a one-bedroom suite. The room and lobby were both clean and like most Marriott properties, the staff members were extremely helpful and professional. All rooms have patio or balconies with chairs and a table, which is a really nice feature. The bistro is a combination breakfast/dinner/bar with limited menu items and works in a pinch. Because the food isn't free, it's not nearly as jammed as the places that offer free breakfast. Indoor pool/whirlpool area is decent and open late, but don't expect to do much lap swimming as it's popular with kids and their parents. A tip: If you are staying during nicer weather and want a more private stay, request a room facing out toward the parking lot, one at the end of the internal courtyard opposite the lobby, or even on the second floor. The courtyard has a fire pit at the lobby end that was a big gathering place late into the evening and there are multiple sitting areas in the courtyard itself. The windows and patio doors (plus the AC unit) kept all but the very loudest of noises out of the room, so even with so many people talking, it was quiet in the room. However, with people sitting, talking, and walking the paths by the first floor courtyard rooms, it felt a little like a street-level city apartment. read more

My family is a Marriott family. We rarely ever have bad experiences at any of their properties. The staff here is fine, the breakfast was fine, but the cleanliness of the rooms are disgusting. Our room had a walk out patio. We walked outside to sit and drink coffee only to find a beer can and spiderwebs all over the patio. Gross? Then in the bathroom, someone left their mark on the wall OVER A YEAR ago- no one has taken the time to clean that in over a year?? See photos for details. The wooden headboard is greasy, and I don't feel clean staying here. Will be switching hotels completely. read more

My mom and I have been staying at this hotel for years and it used to be amazing. Now it is only average. The last time we visited we discovered they had taken our their hot tub which was a big disappointment as that was one of our favorite parts of the hotel. The pool was extremely cold so we didn't get to swim. Their exercise room is small but serviceable and the staff is friendly. You have to pay for breakfast which is not bad, probably about $10 for a full breakfast. Overall it is not a bad hotel, just could use some updating and the hot tub situation is definitely a disappointment. read more

Only things is hotel Layout is confusing as hotel has courtyard in the middle with rooms around with very weird placement of stairwells and elevators. I know we won't stay here again. The room was really small..even though it was adequate. Cons: Air conditioner was really really loud. By the time we got in, it was too late to bother with changing rooms, so we struggled through it. No vent in the bathroom...really? I requested extra pillows..there weren't even extra in the closet. I refused to pay for someone to bring me extra pillows. Terrible soundproofing, both on halls and with room next to us. Balcony were filled with weeds and dirt..obviously intentional, but really tacky. Breakfast was terrible...bacon was cold and tasted like cardboard. Mold on the tiles of shower. The price was not reasonable...I expected much better for what we paid. Pros: Bed was fairly comfortable, as were the pillows we had. Shower pressure was really good. Toast and coffee with breakfast was good Staff was pleasant. All in all, one of my worst Marriott experiences. read more

Definitely not your best Marriott property. It seems to be in transition between 1970's style apartments and a major ultra-modern upgrade. The layout is very spread out and hart to navigate, and the rooms seem to be hastily decorated. All in all, it's comfortable, but not at the 120 dollar price tag. read more

We stayed here two nights ago; in town for a family wedding. We got in at 1:30 am and the desk clerk was so helpful and courteous. Totally satisfying stay. Comfy bed, excellent decor and furnishings, beautiful pool and hot tub with good hours (6 a.m. to 11 p.m.), and excellent maid service, all added to an agreeable week in Blue Ash, Ohio. Enjoyed the emphasis of texture and pattern in the decor. It was a warm week in October and being able to open the window on a reasonably quiet neighborhood was also a plus. I wouldn't revisit the Bistro for breakfast. My husband said the coffee was all right, though it tastes burned, the way all Starbucks coffee tastes. The room had a couch. A refrigerator, set at just the right temp, was hidden in a cupboard. In some ways it felt like a boutique hotel. read more

I had a rollercoaster of a stay at the Courtyard in Blue Ash. The rooms are very comfortable, standard-issue Marriott rooms. I have yet to be disappointed by a Marriott's comfort level. We (my mom and I) checked in pretty late and were greeted by a clerk that had about as much personality as a whitewashed wall. We got to our room and had trouble with the TV (the multi-plug outlet had come unplugged), so the front desk guy came to the room and moved the very heavy desk it was on to get it working. The night went without further incident. In the morning, the towel bar fell off the wall, but we got it back on ourselves. The following night, the noise of the boisterous family next door woke me several times, so I called the front desk to complain and was moved the next morning. The customer service this time was AWESOME! They moved me to a room with a better view, and even prepared a goodie bag for me with Skittles, a water bottle, a protein bar, and a certificate for a free Starbucks. I took my mom to the airport and came back to my shiny new room. When I went to bed that night, imagine my dismay to find dried blood on the sheets! I switched to the other bed and called the front desk to let them know. Again, it was late, and I suspect the person I talked with was the same person who checked us in, because he was downright rude this time. The following morning I went to the front desk and they comped my room for that night and apologized for both the inconvenience and the attitude of the employee the night before. Housekeeping came and changed the sheets, and I went on with my stay. That night I realized that I had left my bathrobe in the first room, so I called and was told it was not with the front desk, but that someone with housekeeping would get back with me. They didn't, so I called again and got the same answer. It was FIVE MORE DAYS of the same back and forth before I finally spoke withsomeone, and by that time I had long since checked out of the hotel, and my old, worn, nobody-would-ever-steal-this bathrobe (that I was very attached to, if you can't tell) was gone for good. :( I am just terribly disappointed on so many levels, and wouldn't really recommend this hotel. The second star is for the sweet lady who made me a goody bag, but beside that i would give it negative stars if I could. read more

I had a few issues (minor) upon arrival. Even though Kat was probably annoyed with my nit -picking, she still went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied. Our room was immaculate. I love the modern upgrades. The lobby is beautiful, and they have a bistro offering breakfast and dinner option. Also, Starbucks!! I had the best BLT of my life from their Bistro. We enjoyed the pool, very clean my kids had a blast. Close to the pool area they have a patio area with fire pit. One of the best hotel stays I've had in a very long time. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean, bed is comfy, good food and affordable what more can you ask for? We will stay here again if ever given the opportunity. read more

Pretty much your standard Courtyard (Business Traveler's Delight) hotel. This hotel has been recently updated (Lobby & Rooms, hallways still look like old school Courtyards). The bistro is pretty good food and perfect if you don't want to drive and get something and will have something to satisfy most people. The front desk staff here is really really good. They get any problem you have resolved quickly and easily. I'll be back next time in Blue Ash area. read more

Just spent the entire weekend here with my son's baseball team. The people who work here are fantastic. Everyone from the manager on down were very accommodating. Rooms are clean too. It's tough to please everyone but everyone in our group thought the same . Great value for the price. read more
