I stayed at this hotel for three nights during a business trip to the Philadelphia area. It had the standard courtyard Marriott feel as others I've stayed at in other states. The hotel was clean. There was a container of infused water in the lobby area that I truly enjoyed. The staff was very courteous and receptive to my needs. Within the room, there was a living space as well as a desk. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom smelled fresh and the water had good pressure in the faucet and the showerhead. The hotel did not have an airport shuttle as they were approximately 45 minutes from the airport; however, they did have a hotel shuttle that was available to take you to areas within close proximity to the hotel. At the end of my stay, I tried to get assistance from the front desk to book transportation from the hotel to the airport; however, I was told that I had to figure that out myself as they didn't have that service available. That was the only issue that I had at this hotel. I felt that the front desk could've had a telephone number for a taxi service or some information to help their guests figure out transportation from the hotel to the airport. With the exception of that one hiccup, I had a decent stay overall. read more

Great location near Phoenixville (dining/breweries) ... Limerick (shopping/outlets) ... and Upper Salford (park for DH's biking event). We came in a day early for his race and went shopping at the outlets (only 15 minutes away). Easy check-in and super nice staff! As a Marriott Bonvoy member ... even received notification that we could check-in early with keyless room entry via the app, but wasn't so sure when we'd actually arrive (as I wanted to take my time shopping ... haha). Went to dinner in downtown Phoenixville (only 10 minutes away) with so many great options for food and drinks (including DH's fav beers). Returned to the hotel and parked out back with (key card) rear entry right next to easy access staircase. Beautifully detailed room with cabinet/drawers storage, pullout desk, adjustable leather task chair, sleeper sofa, counter with fridge, comfy bedding, and sheer/blackout curtains. So roomy and especially liked the placement of the king bed facing the window. Free WiFi was also pretty reliable and fast too! Only 2 minor issues ... hotel was sold out with 5 wedding blocks, where it was extremely loud with people screaming until 4:30am and walls are very thin where we could hear people talking all around us. Also, top bed cover smelled like bad B.O. Still a great stay and we would definitely go back! read more

Oh brother, this hotel stinks. We came from out of state for a wedding and stayed here for two nights. From the beginning the front desk was useless. When I was checking in with a family member, he gave his name to the front desk and they said they couldn't find his reservation and said that they didn't have anything for him until he was able to find the email confirmation. The front desk also asked if we wanted our room cleaned (apparently the rooms don't get cleaned everyday unless requested) we answered yes and our room never got cleaned. Then my key didn't work to open my room door, when I returned to the front desk there was no one there for 10 minutes. The cafe also seemed short staffed which made service a bit slower. read more

We booked our hotel block for our wedding weekend at the Courtyard Philadelphia Valley Forge/Collegeville, and we were so pleased! From start to finish, the team there made it as easy as possible for us. Charlene was my contact when I initially booked, and she was absolutely amazing. She answered all of my questions (and I had so many!), and she was completely up front about optional add-ons and the cost. We ended up having a farewell breakfast, and she literally took care of everything. It couldn't have been any easier! When we arrived that weekend, the team was incredible. We were so stressed about the welcome bags and the team took care of everything - we dropped them off and didn't have to think about them again! The rooms were super nice and comfortable, and the bar had a nice, cozy atmosphere as well. The breakfast the morning after the wedding was lovely as well - just what we needed! Clean and Comfortable When we are not staying at the Wyndham in Valley Forge, we stay at this Courtyard. The accommodations are clean and well kept. The location is convenient to some of the areas good restaurants and very close to Valley Forge National Park -- a great place for a picnic. The hotel staff is extremely helpful -- this stay I made a reservation over the Marriott 800 number and by mistake was booked at the Devon Courtyard (which because of a front desk attitude problem, I have not stayed with for the last few years). When I arrived at this hotel, the Staff did everything to find where my reservation had been made, cancel it and then get me the room of my choice. Obviously, I would recommend this hotel. Stayed there for 5 days while visiting my mother in a memory care unit in early December 2022. Never again.My family and I were freezing the first night because the heating unit was broken and had to be replaced the 2nd day. The food and drinks were very expensive, we ended up buying from local grocery store. The heater in the pool was broken, as was the ice machine and room telephone. A housekeeper was cleaning the room next to us and was very loud waking up our baby. I thought he was going to put a hole in the wall. I sent an email after we got home and received a response saying they would address my concerns with the Marriot staff. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone. read more

As I arrived in Collegeville I was amazed by the enormous gated GSK campus. Then I was amazed by the huge and modern Providence Town Center with Wegmans and all kinds of shops. I knew I was in a nice location. The Courtyard was located on top of a hill the winding road was fun to drive up, a little further up was the empty office building that used to be Pfizer the sign was still on the road. The hotel was nice it had a nice view of the city. Upon arriving at the lobby I could see the very contemporary decor - a lounge area, cafe and the front desk. The staff was friendly she swiftly had me registered and ready to go up to my room. As I walked to the elevator, there were a few rows of refrigerators with bottles beverages available for sale. That was nice to have. My room was also very contemporary in design the bed was comfortable equipped with flat screen TV. A few things were outdated there - the bathroom, apart from being clean there was not a lot about it. The airconditioning/heating unit it was really loud as other Yelpers described it was hard to ignore. But I was so exhausted it didn't bother me quite as much. Lastly the ironing board was a mess the padding was not great I had a hard time trying to iron a blouse made of soft fabric. The ironing left textures from the board on my blouse. However overall it was a nice room I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area it was in a great location with the Providence Town Center across the street. read more

STAY AT THE DOUBLETREE!!! Horrible. I came into town for a wedding, so there was a block of rooms. Check-in was at 3pm, and driving up from DC on Memorial Day weekend takes a bit of time to say the least. We arrived at the hotel at 6pm to check-in and my mom met me outside and said the hotel called her to ask if I was coming. Multiple things wrong with this: 1. how did they know who my mom was? They had to have gone through the block reservation and look at the names. 2. Why wouldn't they just call me instead? My phone number was the only number listed on the reservation I made. 3. I'm 30 years old. I don't need a hotel calling my mom to ask her what I'm doing. This was extremely unprofessional. The front representative even told me to my face that she did this. Apparently, the hotel over booked and they needed to "kick people out". I guess I was targeted because I was checking in at 6pm instead of 3pm. Never knew that was an issue. It gets better still. Our stay was for two nights and I woke up after night one to a receipt says I was checked out. I called the front desk and they said I only had reservations for one night. This is false. I have a confirmation email stating the correct dates and Marriott customers service verified it in their system as well. I'm not saying the hotel is holding a grudge against me because I submitted a complaint after the first day, but if it walks like a duck, sounds like a duck, well...it's a duck. 0/10. Stay far away. It's ironic that we're next to Valley Forge because I would rather brave the winter with Washington's men than stay here again. P.S. I am still waiting to hear ANYTHING from the hotel or Customer Service about this matter. UPDATE: I spoke with customer service and they "lost my complaint"(LOL right...). I finally got a case number and should have some results in 72 hour according to them. Update2: the front desk representative emailed me saying sorry (more or less). Best for business travlers This Courtyard is conveniently situated across from Pfizer and Dow. It is clean, well maintained and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I felt the prices charged for food at its "bistro" were high, but since most of this location's guests are spending their company's shareholder's money via expense reports, price/value is of little concern. I was there over the Christmas holiday visiting family so I was spending my own money. I knew the area so I knew other places to eat that provided more value for the money. I was in room 503 and would advise anyone who doesn't like the continuous sound of traffic noise from Rte 422 to avoid it and similarly located rooms. My friends stayed on the 2nd floor on the "even" side of the building. They were awakened at 5:15AM Wednesday morning to the sounds of the property's dumpsters being emptied. They asked why they were place in such a noisy room when the place was virtually empty, but no satisfactory answer could be given. Bottom line: if you're a business traveler doing business with Pfizer or Dow, this is an excellent place to stay. If you're spending your own dime, but may want to research other more value-oriented hotels in the area. There are plenty of good ones. read more

Located in an area with lots of rolling hills, office complexes and a shopping mall, the Marriott Courtyard is a comfortable respite from the demands of business or travel. I'm not sure how long it's been here, but the decor certainly follows the current template being applied across the chain. The lobby is modern with lots of wood and bold colors coupled with elegant lighting. When you walk in, the check-in counter was to the left, complete with a small store with water, snacks and individual sized booze. The rest of the lobby is largely made up of lounge like seating from booths to comfortable seats at tables. The right side has a counter that serves food including sandwiches, fruit, bagels and Starbuck's coffee. I had their "Healthy" breakfast sandwich made up of egg whites, spinach and turkey bacon on an english muffin. I have to say it was super tasty and quite filling. I was surprised. The rooms also reflect this modern decor, complete with dark furniture contrasting against bright wallpaper. The room I wound up in was interesting as it was clearly meant for someone with a wheelchair. The doorways and walkways seemed especially wide. The bathroom was very large and included extra holds in the shower and a seat to sit on. It even had an emergency call button right outside the room. I was surprised they had this kind of room and even more surprised that I somehow wound up with it! Some nit picks: the room's heating unit was LOUD. I mean like, crank up the TV to high because it's so danged loud. I wound up having to turn it off at night lest I lose sleep that night from the loud noise. I also discovered the iron was broken. It heated up fine and all, but it was missing the small cover that kept the water inside the reservoir. Nothing here was Earth shattering, but it was worth mentioning. I honestly enjoyed my stay at the Marriott and suspect I'll be back many times in the coming year (for business). It's good to know there's a nice place to stay nearby! read more

If I could give this hotel zero stars I would. I made a reservation for my friends wedding night and after days of receiving no confirmation email I called with questions and was told my reservation was lost. This was 3 days before the wedding so thankfully I called or I would have had no room to stay in. Now for some reason I have been charged with 2 room reservations. I have been calling for multiple days and have been told multiple times there is no one there to help me and that they would take my number and call me back. After now being ignored for days and not very happy.. I continue to call and am now being HUNG UP ON by the staff. Not only am I out an extra 130 dollars but now I am being treated very rudely. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE EVER and NEVER will. I am absolutely disgusted with the customer service and the fact that I am being ignored. read more

Worst night's sleep I've ever had in a motel/hotel. As previously stated by others, the AC/heat unit in the room clangs worse than pipes and steam radiators. It's LOUD. The mattress was short-sheeted, lumpy, uncomfortable, and dotted with five small pillows the size of pieces of Chiclets gum (okay, less than 12" per very flat, narrow side). While I appreciate their sense of endeavor and derring-do , furnishing hotel rooms with the proceeds from carnival outings doesn't seem to be part of the best business practices of most hoteliers. Morning found us listening to the incessant 9 am chatter of the housecleaning staff, yelling back and forth from room to room and up and down the hall. Hotel rooms are sort of like tennis rackets. With tennis rackets, you pay for the wood. With hotel rooms, you pay for the ability to sleep past 9 am without having to filter out the chatter of gossipy hotel maids and blaring Norteño music. Worse, I understood everything that was said. Never again at this location. read more

Was in town for a wedding, just for the night.. Check in was nice and easy, the hotel is really nice, clean and welcoming. Firstly, we confirmed two queen beds and we had one king, which wasn't a big deal but unexpected. After the wedding the hotel kept the bar open for us until 2am which is awesome but not when it's almost $7 for a Bud Light or $10 for one shot of fireball. But hey I totally understand the business. It was overall a fun night!! Unfortunately, the fire alarm started going off in the middle of the night, two different times. I know this wasn't the hotels fault but it was the last thing I wanted to be doing at 2 am! The morning we were leaving we had breakfast at The Bistro, was very yummy and the fruit was fresh! Very disappointed In this stay and the service received. Check in was fast and swift. My sheets were not clean or fresh. Very nasty and the pillowcase had stains on it. I called down and spoke to Ryan. He told me the manager -the AGM would be in would come up to my room. I wanted someone to see the condition of this linen. Well 9 am comes and goes-no one has come. I call down to the desk to discover Ryan has left for the day and has told no one about anything. At this point I am asking for a manager to come to my room. After another 25 minutes with no contact, I call the desk again and ask how long will it take for the manager to contact me. He ( I did not get his name) said he notified housekeeping and would call them again. Moments later the housekeeping manager called me and told me the person who services the floor was getting her items together and she would be down. The housekeeping manager did stop by to apologize personally. I called the property on Tuesday and encountered Michael. I asked for the contact information to the company who owns their location. CAN YOU BELIEVE HE REFUSED TO GIVE IT TO ME. HE SAID HE WOULD NOT GIVE IT OUT AND THAT INFORMATION IS CONFIDENTIAL. So I went to google, found the information and contacted their corporate location where I was told by NO MEANS -THE INFOR,ATION IS CONFIDENTIAL AND THERE IS NO REASON THE STAFF IS NOT ABLE TO GIVE THIS INFORMATION TO A GUEST-So Michael lied. I feel when I expressed, I wanted to make a complaint that is when he refused to give me the information. After calling the parent company- I was told they would reach out to the General manager and he would contact me. Very quiet clean the staff was so nice &accommodating I requested more pillows and blankets & it was delivered to our door immediately to our door. There is a refrigerator no microwave there is a coffee maker with coffee & creamer packs was available complementary soap, shampoos & conditioner in the bathroom. We was in town for the video game convention and most local establishments that is near a big convention will be nosey and it wasn't at all. The bed was clean comfortable the pillows was soft downstairs at the entrance was welcoming. With a beautiful flower mural painted on the wall their a lot of seating a great place to relax and do some reading computers are available for access. Breakfast is available at your own expense also there's a starbucks in the lobby. Shopping, movies, restaurants is close by in walking distance I highly recommend this location & hotel for anyone next stay read more

Place was clean and the shuttle driver was nice. Only things I could find nice to say. After returning home I notice I had forgotten my iPad. Bad on my part, but I called within a few hours and I had talked with a young lady. She was very nice and said she would try to find and get back to me ASAP. It was over 48 hours so I called again. This time a younger gentleman took my call and he put me on hold for a while saying he was checking to see if it could be in several different locations. Of course, nothing was found. He told me he would contact the manager and someone would call me. By this point I did as much as I could to make sure it would erase when turned on since I had to assume someone decided it was a "finders-keeper" moment. After another 2-3 days I finally emailed Marriott customer service. I received the generic response and was informed that the location manager or supervisor would contact me. Never happened. I sent another email and was told the case file was reopened and someone would get back to me. 3 weeks later, the house cleaning supervisor called (not the manager) and said it could not be found and would give some points for my troubles and speak to the manager and see if there was something more that they could do. A week later and still nothing. I've been staying at Hilton's since this occurrence. I know that will most of the stays at other Marriott locations has been great but when management can't take care of things the loudest noise I can make is to take my business elsewhere. It's fine, close the the Dow and Pfizer campuses but it is showing its age. My room has broken tile, holes in the carpet and peeling paint. The mattress is overly soft and floppy. I don't know if that is from age or just the nature of the mattress. The "Bistro" ran out of most food choices at breakfast. That was annoying. The staff was very nice though. Same for the hotel staff. They run a shuttle over to the Dow and Pfizer campus which is handy. I next time I am in town I would probably look for something in a little better condition. read more

Being a Courtyard Marriott, you'll get what you expect. However, I will leave just a few arbitrary comments: The sink water pressure is is poor, but the shower water pressure is good. The rooms are clean, but the televisions are low quality flat panels with no HD. The elevators are terribly slow, but the hotel only has 5 stories. Another solid Courtyard by Marriott. I've stayed here several times but never left a review until now. The hotel is located very close to a major shopping center with plenty of restaurants and retail. Overall the hotel is nice. The staff are great and try to make your stay nice. Many of the previous comments are on par: the Heater/AC is on the loud side, but it isn't anything too drastic, it won't keep you up at night. The showers are decent, but could use a little attention and updating. I arrived to find throw pillows on my bed, which I thought was a little strange, but after a call to the front desk, full size pillows were brought up minutes later. If I were to make an additional improvement I would look at the gym, it has basic equipment in a small space. With more travelers looking to exercise, this room needs to be enlarged and updated. read more

Centrally located but yet out of busy area. There is a nice walking trail/sidewalk that is close to 2 miles and other trails nearby. Mall area within walking distance with shopping,movies, & of course food. They also have a shuttle service. Hotel is super clean. Hotel staff is friendly and courteous. Everyday staff asked how I was found, how my room was and always the weather was. Would definitely stay here again if in the area :) read more

I left an item in my hotel room and called the hotel a few hours after checking out. They said they would follow up on it and call me back. No one ever called me back. I called the next three days trying to track down this item and received different stories from different staff members. One said they were super slow and the room had not been occupied since I left, another said they were fully booked and that room had been occupied since the day I checked out. I was also told the housekeeping staff is "trained" to return all items left in the rooms. I'm thinking that is a lie and someone stole my item and no one wants to fess up. I am very upset with the runaround I am receiving from the staff because they all actually seemed great while I stayed there. Guard your items! read more
