On our way from Springfield to Mt. Washington, this Courtyard in Lebanon was in midpoint location. It was in calm quiet area, right next to a plaza that had a supermarket and liquor store. It was also 12-15 minutes drive from busy area of West Lebanon where that has Valley Spring mall, Walmart, Home Depot and bunch out retail stores and restaurants. The hotel had beautiful modern lobby area. But the room was not as new. Furnitures and the bathroom were older designed ones. Everything in the room was fully functional. The water pressure in the shower wasn't good though. The bed and pillows were super comfy. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy. They had free parking, with lots of parking spots all around the hotel.

A solid Courtyard Marriott in the area for a night stay. The staff definitely earned a star for this place. They were so nice and friendly. We bought a bottle of wine from outside but realized we didn't have wine opener. They opened it for me at the bar area (I tipped). The front desk personnel always greeted me every time I passed by. Helped me with my requests. They absolutely went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time during the stay. The only part I didn't like was the water pressure in the shower. The temperature was not steady either. Other than that, standard amenities, toiletries, water for the members, gym, no pool tho.

Room feels rundown and tired. Stains on couch, bed made sloppily. $750 for 2 nights- unbelievable. Bathroom with mold and feels dirty. Disgusting.

Mind you, yes, it was -20° when we were up here (unplanned of course) due to bomb cyclone weather. Anyhow, I'm so glad my trusty Honda Element Box Baby survived in this brutal freeze, she is a Cali girl after all. The staff were very friendly and welcoming at check in. The lobby and coffee/breakfast buffet bar area is inviting and modern. They had a HH from 5-6:30p with wine, beers and pita chips snacks. Round the clock hot coffee was much appreciated, especially during this crazy winter. Amenities: Pet Friendly: This is always the determination of any nearby destination. Our 18 year old chihuahua mutt needs to be able to tag along with us. Super pet friendly here. Pool: Though I brought my bathing suit, I was too tired after sightseeing to take a dip. It's a small pool, I'm sure kids love it. Gym: Small, but does the trick. Few treadmills, cycling areas, bosu balls, no stretching area. Also, there are no wipes. They do provide workout towels, yoga mats and there is a water station for hydration. Breakfast: Pretty decent but you will get the instant stuff. They have a bagel and English muffin station with cereals and milk. The days we were here, they had hard boiled eggs if you don't want the instant scramble eggs. Sausage links were good, the sausage patties weren't heated all the way through so it was still a bit frozen and inedible. There were hot cakes that were good. Don't expect brunch style options, typical hotel breakfast staples. Does the trick and there are plenty of healthy options too such as fruit and Greek yogurt Rooms: Very cute and modern. Each room had a kitchenette which is so convenient. The nightstands have USB chargers, the heat was great! We blasted that thing and made the cold much more bearable. The showers have good water pressure. I'm so glad this place launders and changes the sheets per guest! I could always tell when sheets and pillow cases have been laundered and when they haven't, so yay for cleanliness. My sole complaint here is that you can hear everyone next door and in the hallways. So, I can definitely tell you the parents next door to us were not getting any sleep at 3am from their crying toddler who was stomping around cause I wasn't getting any sleep either! If you forgo housekeeping service, you can get 250 points added or $5 credit to use at the convenience store downstairs. Pretty awesome since we don't generally use housekeeping when we travel. Great driving distance to lots of restaurants. 5 mins to Jesse's Tavern, 15 mins to King Arthur Flour and Dartmouth Campus. Quechee Park and mall are about 20 mins drive. Beautiful areas around with lots of handmade cheeses, jams, soaps and VT maple syrup to purchase for home. Amazing slopes too. Snowboard trip when the weather is much more bearable.

I am very impressed with this hotel. It's been quite a while since I felt this way about any hotel…read more The overall theme is that it's clean, compact, and modern. Upon entrance, one can appreciate the expansive windows and the modern lobby. The servicemen were friendly. Although the room was by no means fancy, the clean modern decor along with the presence of a functional kitchen (which we honestly did not test) was more than sufficient. Similarly, the bathroom and beds were equally equipped and functional. Actually, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The exercise facilities were nice. Small but functional, the gym has more than a handful of dedicated weight training machines to say that it's just basic, along with a full rack of weights (up to the standard 50-pound pair). There are a pair of all 3 major cardio machines (treadmill, recumbent bike, and elliptical). With a water cooler and disposable earbuds, I don't see how too many people could be unhappy with the layout. I wish I had the time to check out the pool, which also looked inviting. The best part was the breakfast. Although unassuming by a cursory glance, a detailed look reveals that the choices are all incredibly excellent. Not only did it have all the essential elements of a healthy breakfast, with a variety of yogurt and nutritious drinks, it also has ingredients for those who savor the hearty. I think I had not one, not two, but three helpings of the sausage scramble. This had to be the best breakfast I have had in a long, long time. The presence of this hotel adds incredible value to the community. No wonder it commands top dollar at the demanding days for local graduations. I will definitely want to be back here when I visit this area again.

Hubs and several of his colleagues were staying here for business they were conducting at Dartmouth for the week. I came along but worked virtually from the hotel room during our stay. We arrived really late our first night after a brutal 5 hour drive. We were wired but tired. It was nice because the hotel was very quiet. We both had work early in the morning and had a good night sleep. Neither of us had breakfast here throughout the week based on busy work schedules, the breakfast was an extra fee, and all the reviews were bad. In regard to the negative aspects, was primarily due to bar and front desk staff. Our second night, hubs joined his coworkers at the hotel bar upon their return from their work dinner. I met them shortly after. They close the bar really early and it took forever to be acknowledged to order my first drink. The bartender kept walking away from the bar. By the time I finally was able to order my drink, the rest of our crew was ready for their second round. It was close to closing and we all just wanted another drink but it was impossible to grab his attention and we found out it was due to the system going down. This was going on for an hour. We had a different bartender our 3rd night and he was fabulous. He exactly like Keegan-Michael Key but we only saw him one night. I think it was our last night that we decided to eat dinner at the bar. I guess there are a lot of regulars there because many of the patrons were familiar with the staff. While we were sitting at the bar, the young front desk girl disappeared for a good hour. Guests were trying to check in and our bartender left several times trying to look for her. It was a mess. Now mind you, there is nothing within walking distance of this hotel where you can get food or alcoholic beverages. I think the market in the lobby had like 4 beers stocked that night and once those were sold, they never restocked it-for the remainder of our stay. One of my favorite factors were the free water for Hilton Honors members was Poland Spring! It's my favorite and they stocked that daily in the market! We requested a late check out so we could pack after a week's stay and not feel rushed for a 5 hour drive. It was a miracle for once and housekeeping did not knock before our late checkout time! I was so appreciative of that!

I'm not looking for anything like a happy ending... the real basics were there but unfinished. The breakfast room was big and pretty cool, well decorated, clean, meeting rooms and pool area stylish and high ceilings. Staff was kind and hardworking. The facility looked well maintained. The fish in the pond were alive... the fireplace was lit but not roaring. There were no managers anywhere in range to address the idea that the food at breakfast was running out... and it wasn't even that great. Canned fruit cocktail - fully picked through down to the pears, no breakfast meats, scrambled eggs clearly from a mix, milk empty, and... odd food setup, not conducive to easy access... waffle maker on the opposite side of the big room up a set of steps. I'm not disabled, but very large group of older people there... big group... kinda sad the staff didn't have the presence of mind or leadership support to plan for a big group and make em really feel well taken care of. A tiny bit of forethought in planning for a big group, prepping the staff who was there, ordering enough food and then getting it ready plenty early... The missing link was leadership. So, this place has potential. They could have a box of umbrellas for borrow. They could have put up an omelet or fresh eggs cook station with an actual breakfast cook. Space was available but NOTHING made me say "Hey wow ... I'll come back here"

Though it would've been nice to have had a view of the Green, the quiet midweek view of Main St was nice. The room was west-facing, so the sun shone in during the afternoons. No matter the setting, the a/c never quite got the room cool; it was a bit warm during the overnight, even after removing the unnecessary blanket from the bed. A few minor housekeeping issues in the room were quickly taken of after a quick call to reception, though turndown wasn't offered until the final night (didn't realize it was even available -- be sure to ask if that's important to you)! The slippers were nice and plush, and bathrobes (didn't use, see temperature note, above) were also available. There was a convenient bedside iHome wireless charger/digital alarm clock; unfortunately, it failed to charge my phone one night. Coffee was available in the lobby hallway every morning, and in the afternoon/evening, cookies!. A Lavazza pod coffeemaker was in the room along with a couple of tea bags as well, but no kettle. The onsite Pine Restaurant was quite popular. Note that folks eat early here; the restaurant was quiet by 8:30 pm (maybe also because it was midweek in summer). The bar area was quite spacious, though, and outdoor seating was available. Easy walk through town, to the Co-op (there was a small drawer refrigerator in the room), for retail shopping, and visiting the Dartmouth College campus (don't miss the Hood Art Museum, open Wed-Sat). Some restaurants in Hanover were also closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, and mobile phone service was sparse in town.
