The shower had mold in it. There was no hand soap. I wasn't the only one with out hand soap. I assume that they only give to you when you ask. There was no soap dish. read more

The person next door is snoring and I can hear it through the walls. I can also hear the elevator ding. And the road in front is busy even near midnight. Then add in helicopters (for hospital across the street?) If you are a light sleeper, this is not the hotel for you. Room was extremely clean. Booked a room and ended up with C-19. Hotel didn't want to do a refund and asked them to do the right thing and refund since it was a circumstance out of my control and they decided to be a "big business" and choose to step on the little guy. Not rolling with the Marriott anymore, cut up my rewards card. I'm sure they might be ok if you don't have an act of god de-rail any of your plans but don't expect them to work with you. They are for profit. I'm sure they took PPP money from the government and fail to show any empathy to another human being. read more

5 stars for Miss Brandy. Came in late on December 8th, technically December 9th and she was so sweet helpful and patient despite it being 1am. Very warm and welcoming. As for the hotel, I despise dirty rooms bathrooms and was impressed on the cleanliness of the room and modern features in addition to the lobby itself. My only issue is I am used to Tempur-Pedic beds and firm pillows but that's just me asking for too much. If I ever pass through Arkansas again I would definitely stay here and sure hope to run into Ms. Brandy again . Thank you for your kind service and hospitality! read more

My stay was horrible and I will never stay in a Courtyard again. This was the icing on the cake. My room was dirty. There was hair on the sheets, in the bathroom on the counter, and in the shower. There was a fly in my room. The bottom of the front door in my room was tweaked and not sealed. That's probably how the fly got into my room. The bathroom floor was sticky. There was an unknown substance splattered on the back of the bathroom door. One of my pillows didn't have a case and there was a stain on the pillowcase cover. I checked my sheets and they looked clean. I'm really not sure if they were. There was long hair on the comforter on my bed and the white comforter had a stain on it. Just disgusting. The shower had pink mildew/mold in the cracks and on the floor of the shower. I could hear through the walls, I could hear the person in the room next door snoring. There were crumbs in the refrigerator, on my desk, and on the pull-out bed/sofa. Plus, the power went out for 3 hours early in the morning while I was sleeping and it woke me up. I got about three hours of sleep the night I checked in. Between the power going off and beeping from the air conditioning turning off, waking me up, and then hearing the snoring plus not being comfortable with the room being dirty, I couldn't sleep and was a mess for my meeting the next morning. I slept for a total of three hours. I checked out the next morning and checked into Embassy Suites down the street. Worst hotel stay of my life. I did get my money back for my stay so thank you for that. I really should have checked the reviews on Google, here and on Marriott Bonvoy before booking. read more

We drove 6 hours to get here for work. We arrived and checked in at 8:10pm. Check in went well, I was really impressed with the lobby and I was extra excited to get a glass of wine after a long day of traveling. I was told that the bar closed at 9. I brought my bags to the room and was back downstairs by 8:15. The bartender said that her manager said to close early if there weren't any customers.... Ummmm what?! In what world does that rule exist? This is a worldwide chain with customers who expect an experience when they stay at their properties. How disappointing and unprofessional. read more

Then a employee Brandi lied and said they reversed it and never did. Then the manager Sarah said she would take care of it and never called me back. Reasonable rate for a really decent hotel chain. But my bathroom was disgusting. Who knows when the last time it was cleaned. Hairs all over shower and floor, and the toilet was dirty. I didn't really notice it until I stepped out of the shower because we'd been traveling all day, and I was tired. Hairs were stuck to the soap sample that had obviously been refilled. Had I not been ready to fall into bed I would have moved to different room. The sheets were clean. read more

I have never been to a hotel where they have run out of towels. There are 4 of us in the room and only 2 towels in the room. The first night we got more. When we came back from a day out all our towels were still dirty. We went down to ask for some more for the next morning. The front desk ladies were sitting at a table in the lobby eating supper and acted super annoyed to be disturbed. We were rudely informed that they have no towels that they are completely out. I said if they would give me some soap I would wash ours in the washers. They said they would wash them for us. We get up the next morning and they've given our towels away. Now we have none! We are waiting for some to dry currently. This is utterly ridiculous. read more

This was a trip taken in April, 2021, during the Covid19 pandemic. This location is very convenient to local amenities. The front desk staff were incredibly nice and personable. We were advised that the room had been sanitized, but they also gave us a large package of wipes, which we appreciated. The room was OK, but the toilet seat was about to fall off and the hair dryer was missing. The frig was iced up, but we made do. Also, when the folks above us flushed the toilet, it sounded like there was an elevator in our bath. The workout room was good, but it looked liked no-one had dusted the equipment for a long time. Covid19 did not seem to be a problem for the bar/kitchen staff, as no masks were worn. Service was slow, as there was only one person on duty. Not a bad place, but it could use some improvement. read more

I spent two days in this location and discovered after I checked out that they charge me $250 and claimed that someone had been smoking in the room which was not truthful. I have tried to reach management and they have avoided my calls and have had staff tell you to dispute The charges with my bank, I have done this twice and the hotel keeps denying it. Husband, pregnant wife, and toddler booked room directly on courtyard by Marriott site. After having to change rooms immediately upon checkout due to filthy room with beer/alcohol bottles left everywhere, second room had trash on floor.. When being woken up by banging on the door the next morning- in regards to "fire alarm issue" from supposedly 12 hours prior (previous night)-staff threatened to force entry into room after being asked to let us get dressed. After visiting front desk in regards to said "fire alarm issue" was denied speaking to "manager" and told there was no further issue.. only to have police show up to room 10 minutes later. After inviting officer in and discussing reason for visit he had little knowledge as to why police were called by management.. and confirmed there was no misconduct. Originally booked 2 nights, but decided best to check out after incident. Upon checking out asked for manager's explanation of above events and was greeted by extremely an unprofessional "manager" that claimed we would be not be getting deposit back due to "smell of pot" in room. When that accusation was denied police were called back out hotel and "maintenance & food and beverage" employees that claimed they smelled such made threats and accusations. Police ended up responding and assisting with room inspection and it was resulted that no such smell or reason to believe unauthorized behavior was performed and I was insured I would receive whole deposit refunded. Upon leaving hotel, total charges for 2 night stay (one of which should be refunded due to early checkout) was increased by $50 and additional charge of an unexplained $35+ charge is pending card. Will follow up on how charges are handled... but for the price of this hotel and the expected reputation of Marriott, we were extremely let down and disappointed. Will not be booking any related hotel in the future and do not recommend. The whole situation was degrading and could have easily been avoided or handled differently at best. I am amazed at the inviting atmosphere! I travel for work and often stay at this location. They know my name when I walk in, they know what I like to eat, and how I want my drinks made. They listen to me complain about life, and brag about my kids. Traveling can be taxing and being away from family is challenging. The team makes me feel like I am at home when I come into town! This is a top notch location and I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to stay here! Great management, and awesome support staff! read more

Hi. I'm sorry we will not be able to stay at this Courtyard, for a couple of reasons. We are longtime Platinum members who called yesterday and spoke with a very helpful and friendly gentleman about a possible two week stay. We wanted to verify that management is requiring mask wearing among staff and guests. We only called because we noticed another reviewer mentioned that some of the staff were unmasked, and because vaccination rates are still relatively low in Craighead County (as we understand it, 24%, vs. 50%+ in the US). He said that although he wears a mask, they're not able to enforce masks since the state does not require it and masks "are a personal choice." This is confusing, since even today Marriott's website says the company still requires that everyone masks in all indoor spaces in North America. "To promote the health and safety of our communities, face coverings are required for guests and associates in all indoor public areas in North America, the Caribbean and Latin America." The employee said he was not sure that cleaners are wearing masks at all times, but kindly offered that they would ask that cleaners wear masks if we asked for towels, etc. (We would prefer just to pick towels up ourselves, and forego cleanings.) I'm not sure he quite got the point that we would want to know that whoever cleaned the room before we arrived was required to wear a mask while in the room, since the virus would remain airborne in our room for some time. As I said, there is a separate reason we are unable to stay at this particular hotel this summer, but based on the friendly attitude and transparency of the employee, we would consider a stay there in the future when COVID is less of a concern. read more
