The one major issue I had was the horrible mold smell that permeated the entire building until the food was brought in. It never returned so maybe it goes away at night, too. She and I emailed back and forth often since I live in Hot Springs and she is in Jonesboro. As you can imagine, with eleven people we had many details and accommodations to work out. Lisa was great and answered all of my questions. She arranged all of our tours and knew things I wouldn't have known had I planned it myself (like you should get reserved seating at the luau). Our family had a wonderful time. We took four teenagers with us so I wanted everything to be fun and memorable for them especially. We snorkeled, went deep sea fishing, swam with sea turtles, went high diving (not me, I watched), visited the Polynesian Cultural City and enjoyed their show and luau, and toured the city of Honolulu to see all of the famous sights. It was a wonderful vacation. I will definitely use them again.

My boyfriend's mom very kindly got us a $1,000 gift certificate for the holidays to go on a trip to…read morewherever we wanted! Very exciting. The travel agent's service, however, was not that exciting. You are required to use the gift certificate for a "package" -- airfare and hotel -- so even though I was using it to travel back home we had to use part of the funds for a hotel, and ended up paying $450 extra that wouldn't have been necessary if I just stayed at my parents' house. She said she couldn't even pick our seats, so we had to get them assigned together at the airport or at the gate! Overall, the woman is perfectly nice, but also totally unwilling to accommodate any additional requests for your trip or use any type of creativity in planning. Can I use the gift certificate for flights only? Can we use it towards reservations at a winery? Can we skip the hotel and use it to do something else fun? Nope, nope and NOPE! Given the number of emails and phone calls exchanged, and paying extra for not exactly the trip I wanted -- you're honestly better off just doing it yourself online. I know I will in the future!

We checked out the welcome center first, which had animals such as turtles, snakes, fish and an owl out back! They also had a wide variety of taxidermy animals like deer and fox and bears! Oh My! Directly outside the visitors center is a shaded boardwalk through the woods, over looking a pond. We walked this for a little bit. The trail is clearly very well maintained and cleaned. The inside of the nature center was a little dated, but was very hands on and great for kids. It was a good way for us to kill time and get outdoors!

Aisle upon aisle of different party theme supplies, and a huge selection of Halloween costumes! If you need it, they are more than likely to have it! I needed a rabbit nose for a costume party and so I looked it up on their website (very helpful!) so I knew that they had some. We went to the store and looked around for a while before getting serious about our search (the store is massive!), but as soon as we did bam! A display stand of animal noses! We continued to look at the costumes, because they are just so cool! They even have mascot costumes! We checked out with no problem and are very happy with our purchase. It looks great! I checked the website again to see if the quantity would update on it's on and it did! It's good to know that the online and in store stock are the same. The next time you need party supplies go to Golden Grotto!

My wedding was photographed by Emily over a year ago. I have waited this long to post a review…read morebecause I wanted to give myself enough time to cool down so that I could type a level headed review of my experience with Captured by Cottingham. From the moment my wife agreed to hire her there were issues with responsiveness and timeliness. It would often take over a week to get a response back from her on most things. She never missed any scheduled appointments, however she would often not respond to my phone calls or my texts. She also kept terrible records as she never would sign a contract (she did give me one, just wouldn't sign it) and she didn't keep records of what I paid her. I had to pull my bank records to figure out what I paid her as she couldn't tell me what my final balance was. (I paid her in full with checks prior to any work on her part) On the day of the wedding she was nice, easy to be around and generally pleasant. She posed everyone and took charge like we expected a photographer to do. However, once the wedding was over the professionalism stopped. It took over 2 months to get our photos when I was told it would take 6 weeks max. And even still, it required constant badgering after the 6 weeks had past. I was frequently given delivery dates and were missed with no heads up. Just nothing. For example I was told on 7/11/17 "hey i should have the rest of your images finished by this weekend." I didn't get my photos till 7/31/17 and only because I was moving out of state and was promised I would have them before I did that. What was the most alarming is that after all that wait and the decent amount of money I paid ($300 an hour) I was given very bad photos. As a former professional real estate photographer I am well versed in photography and the mechanics of it. I knew we had a dark church and that flash was prohibited during the ceremony and so I was expecting grainy photos for that portion. What I was not expecting was grainy and really out of focus photos for most of my photos. Most of the "money shots" were out of focus and far beyond the capabilities of photoshop to fix. Prior to hiring her I reviewed her portfolio. I was shown sharp, low noise, and colorful images. I told her that this is what I am looking for and was assured that it what I would get. What I got was soft out of focus, noisy, and colorless photos. In our agreement I requested to have all RAW images given to me. (took many more months to get those images) and when I did get them I was able to see that most images were in fact, bad to begin with. Since I had the RAW images I could review the metadata of the images. The camera settings were amateurish at best and most of our mantel piece images were out of focus and extremely grainy. A lot can be fixed in post but out of focus images can not be. To wrap up this long review. I would not under any circumstances recommend Emily to shoot a wedding. She was uncommunicative, missed deadlines, gave me poor quality photos that look rushed in their editing, and charged me a lot of money. My wife and I are so extremely disappointed with our photos that even after 1 year later we have refused to give them out to our families and have not made a single print. I know, she is a very in demand photographer, but, yet, she is always very quick to reply to any messages, I send! Her turnaround time is amazing, considering the time & effort she puts in to each picture! I could not recommend her more! You will not be disappointed!!
